15/03/2026: A very bad experience. The service was unpleasant, and the staff were condescending. The price-quality ratio is shocking compared to the restaurant next door. We ordered raclette, and the amount of charcuterie was minimal, and we never received the salad. When we pointed this out, we were told we had to ask for it, even though it's normally included. Hygiene is appalling… the owners' dog roams freely in the dining room and kitchen, and the manager smokes inside… I strongly advise against this establishment!

09/08/2026: Following the previous comment, I also wanted to share my experience. We attended the fireworks event on August 4th. Despite the difficulties caused by the rain, the owners managed to keep the evening going, admittedly with some changes and unforeseen circumstances, but everything was perfect. We come regularly and enjoy this place. I highly recommend it!

08/08/2026: Huge disappointment! We had reserved a table for seven people, and despite the reservation, we had to eat practically back-to-back due to lack of space. The organization was frankly incomprehensible. The deal was advertised as "all-you-can-eat." Yet, when it came time for more, we were practically brushed off, just like the table to our right. A rather peculiar concept of "all-you-can-eat": apparently, all you can eat, but not quite... And the best for last: when it came time to pay, we discreetly overheard the owner whispering, "Have they paid?" A remark that was particularly professional and pleasant to hear as a customer. In short, between the reception, the lack of space, and the service, everything was in place for a terrible evening. I strongly advise against this establishment. There are clearly things that need improvement, starting with respect for and hospitality towards customers. Thanks nonetheless to Mélanie, who did what she could. Best of luck to her!

11/09/2026: An employee throws his cigarette butts, still smoking, on the ground in front of the restaurant. A disgrace.

08/08/2026: We had booked and the restaurant was marked as open but it was closed, it's really rubbish, the least they could do is say it's closed.

22/08/2026: The chef Chang was very friendly. We feeled very well received. Even when he was closed, he opened the restaurant for our group. (Belgium) He adapted the menu to our wishes. (Meat). Food was excellent the whole week. See you again. Thank you for everything.

16/08/2026: The pizza was neither good nor bad, the place is nice for a break, however, beware of the beers: the industrial blonde is €9.50! With a pizza at €11, you don't expect that, and indeed it's not mentioned on the menu... too bad for me, but be careful!

07/08/2026: The food is terrible; it's dry, too salty, or tasteless. The service is awful; a child could fall in the water. There's too much decoration, too much light, it's overwhelming and disgusting. I'll never go back. The waiter was unpleasant and even ignored us. I got food poisoning because there were worms in the food.

08/07/2026: The owner of this brasserie is truly attentive to his customers. We needed to get to the university hospital (CHU), but the tram was out of service. He called us a taxi. The service was exceptionally kind and helpful. This brasserie is highly recommended. Thank you again.

10/08/2026: The food was perfect, it's a shame there was no sauce, but it's not a big deal :)

09/08/2026: No soap in the women's restrooms, which were filthy. The checkout counter was also filthy and greasy. It was impossible to put your bag down. We complained at the checkout, but they took no action.

07/08/2026: What can I say when everything is perfect?! Julie is incredibly attentive during service. Laurence delights us with a variety of dishes. Everything is delicious from appetizer to dessert! A special mention for the cordon bleu. I highly recommend it!

15/07/2026: June 16, 2026 Arrived at 1 PM, appalling welcome, no one said hello. Poor quality and hygiene. One person only ordered a Caesar salad, we asked for a breakdown of the bill because the receipt we were given stated three full meals (see photo), the person told us that's how it is here, then at 2 PM we were the only ones left, we were made to understand that we had to leave. Avoid at all costs!!!

29/08/2026: A shaded terrace, a lovely and delicious bistro-style lunch. We were greeted by an attentive, smiling, and pleasant waiter. A pleasure to eat here with the family!

15/03/2026: We hesitated when we saw the reviews, but we'd left it a bit late to find a place for lunch, and there was space at La Grolle. Well, we had a wonderful meal! The owner and staff changed two years ago (and the vast majority of the "bad" reviews are from before then). They now share the kitchen with Les Clarines. The waiter was very friendly and professional. We were there with four young children and received a very warm welcome. A big thank you to the whole team; it was a fantastic experience.

08/03/2026: The service was very average; the food was bland and lacked variety. The fondue was mediocre, which was a shame.

28/08/2026: Ordered via Uber Eats, a few slices of salmon for a Shirashi… Too expensive for the quality.

22/08/2026: The prices are very high and do not reflect the quality of the products. Disappointing.
