15/07/2026: The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the most shocking thing is that when I asked for a glass of tap water with my coffee, they asked me for an extra 10 cents… truly outrageous…
07/06/2026: We received a very warm welcome with our two young children. The food and prices were more than reasonable for a village brasserie. Thank you! If we return to the Morestel market, we will definitely come back to eat.

28/07/2026: Was a bit skeptical due to some bad reviews, but also many good reviews. We ate pizzas and I can confirm it was excellent! Pizza came quickly and was hot. Taste great, great crust, sauce great. Service excellent. We sat outside by the river. Can recommend!
28/07/2026: One Tuesday in July, a few days after the Tour de France passed through twice, half the restaurants in Bourg were closed or no longer taking customers... The team at Rive Gauche continued to serve the many customers still waiting once the rush had passed. So we were able to eat (very well) after a day of sports. The pizzas were excellent and the terrace pleasant. A big shout-out to the staff and the chef who must have worked incredibly long hours!

Everything is simple and friendly,
and the frogs' legs are exquisite.
And the people who greet and serve us are incredibly kind.

06/07/2026: It was better before… I loved going there for their tapas menu in the evening for an aperitif. Now they have four options: fries and hummus, all chasing each other… nothing to get excited about. It's a shame, the concept was great, I miss the little spreads and such… I need to find a new tapas place.
Otherwise, the service is friendly and the welcome is warm. Bring back the old menu and it will be perfect!!
04/07/2026: This afternoon around 4:00 PM, my husband and I wanted to have a drink. We were given a menu, then nothing more. We waited for over 15 minutes. Neither the lady nor the gentleman came to see us, but they took the order of an acquaintance who arrived well after us—no problem. Shameful.

28/01/2026: A great place for a sweet treat or a snack. Clean window display and beautiful loaves of bread on the shelves. Very friendly service. A local shop offering good quality products (not to mention the jam and honey for sale, which certainly seem to be locally sourced). Best of luck to the whole team!

Besides paying extra for crispy chicken that was neither crispy nor tasty, I discovered that my tenders had simply been forgotten. When I went to complain, the owner initially feigned ignorance before remaking my dish with the unwanted additions. Avoid at all costs!
04/07/2026: I was just passing by this evening and had a wonderful time. A big thank you to the young man who worked at the till and also served us. He was incredibly kind, always smiling, very attentive, and took great care of us from beginning to end. His professionalism and friendliness made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you again!
