21/08/2026: To celebrate my granddaughter's birthday, I invited my whole family for lunch on Saturday, August 15th. I had ordered a cake, of course. We were greeted by two lovely ladies who seated us inside, given the intense heat that day. My two granddaughters loved it, we had a wonderful time, the candles were perfect, thank you again.

17/08/2026: The owners and waitress were very friendly, and we always received a warm welcome. The food was excellent, as usual.

15/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant after visiting Vizille Castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from appetizer to dessert. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the waitress is gracious and very friendly, and the food is delicious. We highly recommend it! It's a shame we don't live in the area so we could come back. 18/08/2026: Bad experience at this establishment. A hygiene inspection is needed. They served us paella that was three days old! They rushed us to take our order and then waited twenty minutes. They didn't give us time to choose our meal at our leisure. The cook and the elderly waitress lacked professionalism! They gave a speech about the freshness of the ingredients that customers shouldn't have to hear. We were really disappointed with our evening. As regular casino patrons, we've never been so disappointed. I do not recommend this casino!

04/12/2025: Lunch was okay, but nothing special. My pizza was a bit bland, and the presentation of the daily special was really cafeteria-style. Nothing disastrous, but nothing memorable either.

16/10/2025: Excellent waiter, keep him up! The food was decent. The restaurant was a bit cold.

24/11/2025: It feels like a Parisian bar, with its Art Nouveau decor and prices to match. A coffee or a tea: €8.50. That's expensive for a tea bag... I'm told you're paying for the ambiance... but at that price, can you take the teapot home with you?

25/03/2026: Right next to the ski slopes. Simple, but a bit pricey.

11/03/2026: Visited La Salinière restaurant today after several years (March 11, 2026). Huge disappointment. Half a pizza (bakery-style) + a few salad leaves and a tartiflette (small portion) for €34 is very, very expensive, especially considering it's self-service with no table service! The only vegetarian option was the goat cheese and honey pizza. The only positive points were the pleasant staff and the nice view.

05/09/2026: The vegetarian salad was very good and quite generous. Pleasant setting, with a view of the Grand Veymont.

27/08/2026: The pan bagnat looked appetizing in the display case... until you actually opened it to look for the tuna, which was practically nonexistent and only in the middle. The bread was very hard and very thick. I had to remove the bottom crust. I've never been so disappointed by a sandwich from a bakery... (and it's the first time I've ever taken a picture of a sandwich).

03/07/2026: My son and I suffered from indigestion, resulting in half a day in the emergency room after eating hard-boiled eggs. I strongly advise against this place, especially since the cereal bread is very hard. We asked to change it, but we had to pay for the same bread, which was still hard.

03/07/2026: This place is absolutely disgusting! I found a tiny eyelash hair in it, and I don't know how people manage to eat there, especially the extremely hard, stale whole-grain bread that you can't exchange. They ask you to pay for another hard loaf! 🤣 Really disappointing, avoid it at all costs.

31/07/2026: After having carpaccio each, we were both sick the next day! The dessert was nothing special and really not good, plus the toilets were filthy, the waiters were scattered, they clearly want to work in fancy restaurants! They've already tried to do a good job in this little place... what a shame, I wouldn't recommend it!!

21/03/2026: Quick and efficient service, the tartare and carpaccio are excellent! And the chef and waiter are very friendly. Quiet and right across from the park, convenient for children 😉 Definitely worth a try!

13/08/2026: Hello, I ordered a raspberry tart, beautifully presented in the display case, and when I went to serve it, I discovered this... what is it? Raspberry pâté? Are you serious about selling this to customers??

08/08/2026: We went for lunch on a Friday. Once seated, the "waitress" arrived, dragging his feet, his jeans not very clean. He looked at the sheet of paper he was holding, listed the two starters and two main courses he had left. We just had to choose… the same for dessert (a so-called tarte Tatin). We were very surprised, especially since this establishment had been recommended to us. Our dishes looked nothing like what we saw in the photos. Therefore, I won't be recommending it.

26/07/2026: What a comedy! We loved this play! Our main actors—the cooks, brothers… or perhaps the twins from Alice in Wonderland—welcomed us with great enthusiasm… The acts that followed were more surprising than the last! To begin with, three different menus: one without prices, one recounting the history of the castle, and then a third with dishes that the others didn't have! And let's not forget: you don't eat what you want, since there's almost never anything left! Enter our secondary character: the waitress. Despite her best efforts, we sensed a great lack of experience. She was alone to take care of seven tables, which was far too many. When the dishes arrived, the plates from the previous courses were still on the table. We ordered two different glasses of wine. The first one arrived. We asked for the second one, but the response was: “Taste it and tell me what it is, then tell me which one is missing.”… We ordered two rare flank steaks, which were ultimately served well-done. Unfortunately, we couldn’t send them back, as they were the last ones. For the grand finale, we ordered two Merveilleux, which turned out to be cakes meant for four people. Much to our waitress’s dismay, the neighboring tables were dissatisfied and left. For our part, we enjoyed this culinary and theatrical experience with joy and good humor. But the experience didn’t end there! As we were leaving the restaurant, we received a call from one of the brothers, who wanted the gift certificate number used by the previous table… A week later, we received a second call informing us that we were late for our reservation… which had already been made! Thank you for this unforgettable moment! Hooray for the retirement of our two twins!

19/04/2026: I wanted to leave a review, given the rather low rating for this restaurant. We stopped by for a takeaway pizza, and the woman was very friendly and willing to prepare it even though it was still early. The pizza was very good, with just the right amount of toppings, and ready in 15 minutes—no complaints at all. We'll definitely be back!

16/04/2026: Avoid this place! The restaurant is filthy inside. We couldn't find the ingredients in our salad. Shameful! Too expensive for one piece of tomato and two pieces of chicken. The service was so-so.
