03/09/2024: Very friendly mountain lodge in the heart of the Écrins, with friendly staff, and located at the start of many hikes including the superb ascent of Rochail via Lac du Vallon. The rooms/dormitories are comfortable, the shower and toilets are shared but everything is on the same floor. The lodge offers wood-fired pizzas in the evening, which are very good, and local beers. Ideal after a big outing. Very good address in a relatively unpopular area and therefore more authentic.
28/08/2024: Had a delicious beer here along the way. It looked very cozy. There were many young people and a large tent. There was an event going on. Our knowledge of the French language is so poor that we did not know what kind of festival it was.

26/08/2024: Want a St Jean pizza! Go for it! They are very nice and their pizzas are crazy for those who like thin pasta. Crispy and well-filled. Fair value for money, I recommend!
19/08/2024: Good morning. I've never seen such disgusting pizza. I regret having bought there I do not advise you to go there. By reading people's comments? I feel like they have. I loved eating a pizza of their life elsewhere. I strongly advise against going there with the dough that has fried itself. All alone. One sided pizza burn the other name. Honestly I'm disappointed

18/08/2024: It had rained and the waitress placed my glass in a small puddle that was on the table 😏, I asked her if she could wipe the table, which she should have done before putting the glass down, I I found it a bit fair though 👎
16/08/2024: A must if you are staying in Allevard, a tobacco bar with a very pleasant terrace on the square where you can drink something or eat an excellent ice cream in a holiday atmosphere 👍

08/03/2026: We had an excellent stay at the Auberge Buissonnière in Gresse en Vercors; everything was perfect: the welcome, the room, the half-board with its delicious dishes and local produce. We felt right at home, thank you again!
