I found a tiny eyelash hair in it, and I don't know how people manage to eat there, especially the extremely hard, stale whole-grain bread that you can't exchange. They ask you to pay for another hard loaf! 🤣 Really disappointing, avoid it at all costs.

03/07/2026: My son and I suffered from indigestion, resulting in half a day in the emergency room after eating hard-boiled eggs. I strongly advise against this place, especially since the cereal bread is very hard. We asked to change it, but we had to pay for the same bread, which was still hard.

01/03/2026: It used to be a good bakery, but now… the service is unpleasant, the saleswoman doesn't listen to our order, gets the price wrong, and the quality has dropped so much. Really disappointed.

25/02/2026: I bought some individual cakes, they're very good. However, I bought gluten-free ones, and the problem is the saleswoman didn't know what she was talking about. I trusted her, and luckily the person didn't eat them. Please don't sell without knowing what you're selling; otherwise, they're very good.

28/07/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service at this Marie Blachère in Pontcharra. The products were very good (bread and sandwiches), there was a lot of choice, and the waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return.

24/06/2026: I stopped by this morning and was warmly greeted by a young blonde woman wearing grey leggings, I think. It's refreshing to still find smiling, helpful young people these days, not to mention the sandwich, which wasn't dry like in other Blachère locations. I highly recommend this shop!

21/03/2026: Fantastic find! The staff is super friendly, very welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. You immediately feel at ease. The food is delicious; everything was very tasty and well-prepared. And what's more, the dining room is clean and pleasant :) I highly recommend it!

26/07/2026: What a comedy! We loved this play! Our main actors—the cooks, brothers… or perhaps the twins from Alice in Wonderland—welcomed us with great enthusiasm… The acts that followed were more surprising than the last! To begin with, three different menus: one without prices, one recounting the history of the castle, and then a third with dishes that the others didn't have! And let's not forget: you don't eat what you want, since there's almost never anything left! Enter our secondary character: the waitress. Despite her best efforts, we sensed a great lack of experience. She was alone to take care of seven tables, which was far too many. When the dishes arrived, the plates from the previous courses were still on the table. We ordered two different glasses of wine. The first one arrived. We asked for the second one, but the response was: “Taste it and tell me what it is, then tell me which one is missing.”… We ordered two rare flank steaks, which were ultimately served well-done. Unfortunately, we couldn’t send them back, as they were the last ones. For the grand finale, we ordered two Merveilleux, which turned out to be cakes meant for four people. Much to our waitress’s dismay, the neighboring tables were dissatisfied and left. For our part, we enjoyed this culinary and theatrical experience with joy and good humor. But the experience didn’t end there! As we were leaving the restaurant, we received a call from one of the brothers, who wanted the gift certificate number used by the previous table… A week later, we received a second call informing us that we were late for our reservation… which had already been made! Thank you for this unforgettable moment! Hooray for the retirement of our two twins!

23/07/2026: We reserved a table for 8 people (there were 11 of us in the restaurant) on July 22, 2026. There was no menu, only a somewhat bewildered waiter giving us directions, and no prices were displayed. Two stemmed glasses per plate that clearly hadn't seen a cloth in a week... and a leek vinaigrette appetizer that was impossible to cut with a knife... This was our third visit, yet we were so disappointed that we won't be returning and won't recommend it. It's a shame, the setting is fantastic, but the staff is out of touch. We arrived at 12:30 pm and finished our meal at 1:30 pm – any faster would have been impossible. When we asked for a bill, we received a receipt with no itemized information.

19/04/2026: I wanted to leave a review, given the rather low rating for this restaurant. We stopped by for a takeaway pizza, and the woman was very friendly and willing to prepare it even though it was still early. The pizza was very good, with just the right amount of toppings, and ready in 15 minutes—no complaints at all. We'll definitely be back!

16/04/2026: Avoid this place! The restaurant is filthy inside. We couldn't find the ingredients in our salad. Shameful! Too expensive for one piece of tomato and two pieces of chicken. The service was so-so.

30/06/2026: Disgusting place, hair in the trays, sticky floor, sticky tables. A McDonald's to avoid.

30/06/2026: I visited this McDonald's today, and it really seemed out of place. I went downstairs to a large, completely run-down room where there was nobody (dirty tables, broken floor, torn booths). No one brought me my order; this room must scare the staff too much, so they don't go down there. I had to go upstairs to be served. As for your €4.60 McFlurries, it would be important to respect the portion sizes because, frankly, there was hardly any ice cream or KitKat! In short, a McDonald's unlike any other.

05/07/2026: Still as unpleasant as ever... At every stop, which I admit is quite rare these days... the owner/manager is unfriendly and makes you want to give him the same treatment, or even worse. Not a hello after he's looked at you... His waitress for the day, on the other hand, is pleasant. Thank you to her. Don't expect much... I even remember once when, accompanied by pretty girls, he was surprisingly affable, pushy, and insistent in his communication... and yet, he's still here after all these years and negative reviews. It just goes to show that with few businesses, the unpleasant ones survive.

20/05/2026: Yves is a truly unique character. Behind his chauvinistic exterior and gruff exterior lies a genuinely kind person with a true passion for his work. Between his humor, his straightforward manner, and his warm welcome, he contributes entirely to the restaurant's charm. A personality like no other, which makes the experience even more memorable. So go there without preconceptions or judgment, but rather to step outside your comfort zone and try new things. Finally, everything is delicious, generous portions, and the prices are reasonable. If I had the chance to be in Gresse-en-Vercors year-round, I would eat at Yves's several times a week without hesitation. Thank you for the wonderful moments, the stories, and the laughter you've given us! See you soon! 😁

31/07/2026: Oh dear, what a nasty surprise! The food was bland, with no aroma or flavor despite the impressive menu. Everything seemed to have fallen out of a bag or been boiled! All this at an exorbitant price, including water and coffee, and no receipt to check the bill. We really felt ripped off! It's a shame because even though the road isn't far, the setting is pleasant. Definitely avoid this place.
