A reduced menu at very reasonable prices for impeccable gastronomic quality: the sweetbreads are to die for. A must-try in this little corner of the countryside that we recommend 200%.

10/01/2026: A 100% Cappadocian menu. Fresh, delicious, and generous, the dishes we ordered transported us to the heart of Turkey's rich culinary and cultural heritage. Despite its unassuming appearance as a small café, it's a truly wonderful discovery. Accessible for people with disabilities: during our lunch, a wheelchair user was welcomed with the utmost care and attention: a removable access ramp was installed, and the tables were rearranged to create a comfortable space. The price is more than reasonable! 😀

23/02/2026: A very charming restaurant with a truly delightful setting. The dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, although the main course portions could be a touch larger. The very tangy dessert provides an original and refreshing finishing touch. Special mention goes to the owner, who also manages the service: friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. A great place to spend a lovely time.

15/02/2026: The service was very inconsistent: we went to Max Vauché for ice cream twice this summer. The first time was great, with a young, generous server who gave us generous scoops (which seemed fair given the rather high price), was friendly, and offered helpful advice. The tables for eating in were a real plus! The chocolate sorbet wasn't as intensely chocolatey as I would have liked, but it was still very good. However, what a disappointment our second visit was! An older server who seemed bothered by our presence, very small scoops... and unfortunately, that day I chose the coffee flavor: the large quantity of coffee bean pieces in the ice cream was quite off-putting. I didn't like it at all. As for the quality of the chocolate, I was disappointed: we bought the chocolate squares to go with the coffee, and I found them far too thin. It's impossible to get any flavor with so little product! The spread was very sweet, and the chocolate candies were just okay. Only the marshmallows were a hit with my sister. In short, for the price, it wasn't anything special. I was left wanting more!

08/01/2026: I agree with the reviews describing it as the best restaurant in Vendôme. The dishes are refined and elegant, made with fresh, seasonal produce, always with a touch of originality! The wine list also prioritizes local producers, which is a plus for those who want to discover the Vendôme region through their palates. A couple of minor drawbacks, however: while the interior decor is very well done, the exterior is unfortunately quite unappealing. The dining room is rather large, and despite the small number of seats, it can sometimes be quite noisy. Also, be sure to make a reservation, as the restaurant is very popular and is usually full!
