22/08/2026: An absolute gem! The starter was an incredibly delicate and delicious treat… although, to be perfectly honest, my mind was already preoccupied with their French toast. The main course: perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful meats. Flawless! Okay, to be honest, I was really looking forward to dessert, because that French toast… It was simply divine! The service was incredibly fast and always with a smile. But between you and me, they could just throw the plate across the room and it wouldn't make a difference: that slice of bread, golden brown and buttery, is a true masterpiece… Even the setting is charming and perfect for a relaxing time. But let's be honest, we all come here for the same thing: their French toast. In short, an exceptional place where everything is delicious… but especially where the French toast is an absolute marvel. Go there! PS: I highly recommend the French toast!

19/08/2026: Very friendly welcome, cozy atmosphere, plenty of choice on the menu, and what we chose was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant when you visit the town of Vendome.

18/10/2026: Sure, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet, but it only consists of canned or reheated industrial dishes, and defrosted, industrially produced desserts. All that for €26.50 per person. It's far too expensive.

26/09/2026: This was a great surprise, after a long day of biking we were looking for dinner and found this place. It's an all you can eat buffet, with such variety of dishes, from cold to hot and my god the desserts! The food is very French, it's a working class food so don't expect gourmet food, so if it's not your cup of tea I wouldn't recommend. But we LOVED it! Kids pay 10 euro adults 26. Worth every cent. I was so full but had to have seconds from all the tarts.

09/09/2026: I had dinner at this charming restaurant in early September and highly recommend it. The dishes were delicious, the desserts were divine, especially the sublime tiramisu. The atmosphere on the flower-filled terrace was lovely, and the service was impeccable. As a vegetarian, I found the food delicious. I will definitely return for lunch or dinner as soon as possible. I give this restaurant 5 stars.

05/10/2026: It's hard to find fault with this restaurant. From the tables and the welcoming atmosphere to the easy parking and the beautiful menu, absolutely nothing is lacking. The service is delightful, the table setting perfect, and my goodness, the food is pure bliss. Go there with complete confidence. A huge thank you! I opted for the €40 set menu (starter, main course, dessert), which seems simple... but be warned, there are delightful little culinary flourishes in between that are simply divine. Definitely note them on the menu... because they add to the enjoyment of your meal. The wine pairing is fantastic. The dining room is calm and the service is seamless. In short, a fantastic surprise. 27/09/2026: Having come from the Charente region to spend a weekend at Beauval Zoo, we were looking for a restaurant for Saturday evening's meal nearby. TripAdvisor led us to Le Bousquet, and we certainly don't regret our choice. We received a warm welcome from the moment we called to make a reservation. The staff were friendly and efficient. And we had a wonderful meal. The menu was generous, with delicious homemade terrine and rillettes, and the meat cooked over charcoal was perfect. We would definitely recommend this place and will return if we have the opportunity to be in the area again.

25/09/2026: A huge disappointment As a regular at Le Bousquet during my stays in the region, I had always enjoyed this restaurant and readily recommended it. So I came for dinner with my family with great pleasure… what a disappointment! Arriving at 9:15 pm, the service quickly became problematic: a cold welcome, curt answers to our questions, and then a long wait for the wine. At 10:30 pm, my 5-year-old daughter's meal still hadn't arrived. When we asked about it, the waitress replied, "We're doing what we can, we have 200 covers." A particularly inappropriate response to a child who had been waiting for her dinner for over an hour. We had ordered three rib-eye steaks, cooked to three different degrees. One arrived completely raw and cold. Sent back to the kitchen, we then noticed that the second was also barely cooked, something we only realized when we returned it later. At 11:30 p.m., our daughter literally fell asleep at the table. We therefore asked to stop the meal and expressed our disappointment to the owner, particularly regarding the meat and the service. Unfortunately, her reaction disappointed us even more: rather than simply acknowledging the problems, we were met with a dismissive "to err is human," remarks about how her waitress had been "impeccable for the past four years," and comments that we felt were contemptuous, right up until the bill arrived. I can perfectly understand that a restaurant can have a difficult evening, especially with a large number of customers. What is much harder to accept is the lack of self-reflection and the way a legitimate complaint is handled. I remember Le Bousquet as a place I truly enjoyed before. But after this evening, I will unfortunately no longer recommend it. A real shame.
