30/12/2025: When in Granville don't miss visiting Ponton Restaurant. Absolutely a 10 dining experience beginning with the friendly greeting by the owner, the warm ambience (on what was a very cold winter day), to the very friendly server, to the perfectly presented mist delicious good! I've NEVER had pomme de terre purée (mashed potatoes) served as steaming hot as the ones on my plate! Perfect and delicious! Thank you to the management and staff who made our visit an exceptional dining experience!

31/01/2026: A quick reply to Gwendoline: if you'd spent more time brushing up on your vocabulary with a grammar book instead of offering such an unhelpful opinion about a restaurant you call, and I quote, a "shitty restaurant," your life would be so much better.
For your information, a grammar book is a dictionary where you learn concrete words with clear definitions.
As for the restaurant, the entire staff and the atmosphere are perfect. The service is impeccable. No complaints whatsoever, thank you everyone. I can't wait to come back to the area and share another such enjoyable meal.
Finally, the smell of cows, as you so aptly put it, is one of the joys of the countryside 😉

We weren't expecting to arrive at a restaurant without a menu to choose our dish, and to have to make do with only 3 main courses and 2 desserts (Luckily we liked one dish, otherwise what would we do? We'd leave without eating 🙄). The dish itself was good (the beef was a bit too chewy) but overall it wasn't bad.
I think they should address this, which could make the restaurant better 😉

The concert was good. The food was good.
Despite a reservation with dishes already ordered, the starter was forgotten. The drinks ordered for the main course arrived in the middle of the meal and were practically thrown on the table.
And some people had already paid for their main course or the €10 reservation fee... So there was chaos with the payment because the servers hadn't been informed...

15/03/2026: For my parents' birthday, they took us to this inn where we had a wonderful meal. The setting is one you sadly don't see anymore, with a large fireplace where the suckling pig and ham were roasting. Everything was delicious, from the aperitif to the dessert. The staff was lovely. We had a very pleasant time. Reservations are highly recommended. An experience to repeat! 😊
01/03/2026: A superb discovery, everything was absolutely perfect in terms of taste.
The punch was a gem. Even the bread was exemplary, which is very rare. We usually eat bread from La Mie Câline, which is rather bland and uninteresting. The roast suckling pig, just the way I like it, was perfect, I tell you! 😁
In short, as soon as my wife gives birth, we'll be back without hesitation to try the ribeye steak!!!
If I had just one small thing to say, it would be about the service: a little more smile and friendliness would be a real plus… but I'm just nitpicking.

We stayed one night in the suite on the top floor. The suite was quiet, spacious, bright, comfortable, and tastefully decorated.
The bathroom had a walk-in shower and a very pleasant whirlpool bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak.
The hotel is well located, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and the town center. The hotel offers a full sweet and savory breakfast buffet. In addition, the hotel has an excellent restaurant with a lovely menu featuring homemade dishes, as well as a cozy bar.
Thank you for this enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this establishment and will gladly return. 😊
