29/04/2026: For our first visit, we received a very warm welcome and were served with grace and elegance by our waiter. I highly recommend it; it's possible to book in advance, as the restaurant might be full. Enjoy discovering the menu; grab your knives and forks to awaken your taste buds!

12/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you to Chloé and Arthur for their kindness and excellent service. The restaurant was very clean and quiet, and the food was of good quality. We will definitely return.

19/04/2026: Upon entering the restaurant, we received no welcome whatsoever (no greeting, no glance, etc.). Once seated, we had ample time to read the reviews, which are entirely consistent with the restaurant's reputation. We had to wait over ten minutes for our menu. Changing or removing an ingredient from a galette is impossible, let alone doing so with a smile. Let's talk about the food... It was lukewarm, the galette was soggy, and I suspect it wasn't fresh. When we went to the restroom, we noticed several flies, not to mention the lack of cleanliness. We didn't risk ordering dessert. To end on a positive note, I suggest you review your customer service, the quality of your food, or perhaps your pricing. I advise you to take into account the 400 reviews, which are rated HORRIBLE. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this restaurant; it's a complete rip-off. Good luck, forever!

18/04/2026: Very disappointed. The room was not as advertised. After spending days searching for the perfect room for our mother's (and grandmother's, as the whole family chipped in) 80th birthday, with a view of the bay (a lifelong dream), we learned that the only window in her room looked out onto a roof, just 10 cm from it. So, no view whatsoever. At over €200 per night, this is certainly disappointing. Especially since the hotel is trying to excuse itself by saying they never claimed the photos were accurate. Except that nowhere is there any mention of "photo not contractual" or any other wording suggesting the room wouldn't be the one shown in the picture. In short, this is unacceptable, and we are extremely disappointed. If this had been clear from the start, we wouldn't have booked this room, and certainly not at this price!

19/04/2026: A family meal with three generations to celebrate the youngest's 18th birthday. Everyone was delighted, from the grandfather with his pig's trotters and calf's head to the grandson with his ribeye steak. Thank you for the warm welcome despite the staff shortages... A very enjoyable and convivial moment.

15/03/2026: For my parents' birthday, they took us to this inn where we had a wonderful meal. The setting is one you sadly don't see anymore, with a large fireplace where the suckling pig and ham were roasting. Everything was delicious, from the aperitif to the dessert. The staff was lovely. We had a very pleasant time. Reservations are highly recommended. An experience to repeat! 😊

From fish to dishes reminiscent of our grandmothers' recipes, expertly prepared and presented in small Villedieu pans or cast-iron casseroles… the flavors are exceptional, and the portions are generous. Chef Michael Marion, with genuine humility, shares his culinary expertise by reinventing traditional regional cuisine. Thank you.

10/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with a beautiful view of the Brick cove. Plenty of choice, high quality, and very pleasant service. The dining room was a bit noisy. Dogs are allowed in one of the rooms.

25/04/2026: I really like this place in Carteret; I'm usually always well received, but frankly, there's a young woman here who isn't smiling or very friendly. I feel like I'm bothering her. It's unpleasant.

20/02/2026: What can I say? A warm welcome, smiles, and good cheer. Audrey and Charles, the staff, take excellent care of their customers. Their kindness and professionalism are evident. And the food? What can I say? Generous portions, home-style cooking that reminds us of the good old days. So delicious that returning is a must. Thank you to Chef Xavier for his talent and kindness. My partner eats there every lunchtime and never tires of it; it's contagious, and I'm a convert too. Not to mention that my picky 4-year-old son eats like a horse there. Only passing through the area for a few months, we're going to miss you terribly. Don't change a thing! You're perfect! See you very soon.

16/04/2026: There were at least forty of us on the terrace for the Champions League quarter-final. We politely asked (and we weren't the only ones) for the match to be shown, but the waitress wouldn't budge and left a handball match on instead. Avoid this place for football matches and the upcoming World Cup, because even when they do show it, there's no sound!

15/04/2026: 40 people on the terrace to watch the Champions League match, but the arrogant waitress preferred to put on handball and literally made fun of everyone... AVOID FOR THE 2026 WORLD CUP

18/01/2026: Having been there countless times, we can confidently say that this is a wonderful place to eat. Clean, friendly, family-oriented, and reasonably priced. The burgers, pizzas, salads, and desserts are all excellent. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. We will definitely be back.
