15/05/2026: So, we didn't actually eat because we arrived at 12:55 PM and still hadn't been served by 1:45 PM, and we had to be back at work at 2:00 PM! So we went back to work without having eaten. What a great brasserie! UNACCEPTABLE. First and last time I'll ever set foot in there. The organization needs a serious overhaul.

10/05/2026: I had an absolutely perfect stay at the Hotel Les Fuschias in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home thanks to the exceptionally warm and attentive welcome from the hosts. I loved the hotel's authentic charm, its refined and intimate atmosphere, and the peaceful rooms, which allowed for true relaxation. The excellent bedding contributed greatly to the quality of my stay. Breakfast was delicious, featuring excellent local products, and served in a beautifully decorated room. I was also struck by the beauty of the garden, a true haven of peace and serenity. The location is ideal, right next to the restaurants and shops of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, making it easy to get around on foot. I sincerely wish I could have stayed longer, as the atmosphere of the place is so pleasant. A truly wonderful place to stay, and I will gladly return.

24/06/2026: Location is a ten. Pricey beer, especially since you have to get it yourself and return the empty glasses. Service is friendly.

23/06/2026: I didn't eat, I just had a drink and enjoyed the decor and the exhibitions and ceramics made by local artists. There's also a very pleasant outdoor terrace overlooking the sea.

04/05/2026: The father and son offer pizzas that are all more delicious than the next, and with a sourdough starter that rises the day before, making the pizzas even more digestible than elsewhere!

28/05/2026: We had a great time at this establishment. The service was very friendly, and the food was too. We would have loved to get the chefs to do the Macarena for our tip, but oh well, maybe next time 😜 I recommend it.

22/05/2026: We tried two different types of kebab and while they were of reasonable quality neither had very much taste. We chose a chilli sauce and a garlic sauce so both should be full of flavour but only the garlic one did while the chilli one was just hot rather than tasty. The pilau rice served with one of the kebabs was pretty good although it did have a stronger than normal cardamom flavour but this actually helped the overall taste. Ultimately it was all ok but nothing to make you rush back.

17/03/2026: This is my second time enjoying a meal in Coutances. The interior and exterior decor are fantastic. The food is excellent. The only downside to this chain is that there aren't any locations in the North! I'll definitely be back on my next trips to the region.

12/03/2026: A very good find. The American West theme is beautifully showcased and tastefully executed. Several dishes are out of the ordinary, and the portions are generous. The menus offer a variety of high-quality dishes. Reservations are not possible via Google, only by phone. I recommend this restaurant. The only area for improvement is the expansion of the number of restaurants and the regions where they are located. This restaurant is an hour and a half from my home. Opening locations in Ille-et-Vilaine would be a welcome addition.

26/05/2026: We ate oysters at this restaurant. We ended up in the emergency room with vomiting and nausea, requiring 28 days of treatment 😡 It's appalling. I strongly advise against going there. And I don't think I'm the only one who's been in this state; it's shameful.

24/05/2026: My wife, three children, and I came today for ice cream and a small drink. The waitress was very friendly and served us well, BUT! The owner... don't even get me started! The ice cream wasn't even ready when I suggested to my wife that we leave. My children gave me a huge look at the way the owner spoke to his employee! The restaurant business isn't easy, and on top of that, the owner is always complaining... Luckily, the lady with the red hair was very nice! Unfortunately, it's because of owners like that that their restaurants get such a bad reputation.
