09/07/2025: The food was absolutely fine. Service was quick and courteous. The atmosphere was okay. It was a stop on a road, but no one was driving fast there. So, it was still reasonable. Beer at €6.80 for a half liter is downright cheap for France. 😂 But don't increase it now. Otherwise, I'll deduct a star.
21/06/2025: A superb experience. We went there by chance, and if we were in the area, we would definitely return.

11/09/2024: Found completely by chance during a visit to Coutances, I fell in love with this great little restaurant.
Welcoming and smiling staff, quick order taking as well as the arrival of dishes.
I enjoyed a Carbo pizza which was exquisite and plentiful.
The charm of the decor is particularly evident in the small writings scattered throughout the restaurant with phrases combining humor and philosophy, very subtle...
I recommend without hesitation
10/09/2024: Passing through Coutance, this restaurant was a great discovery of traditional cuisine but good value for money! Special mention for the Waiter/Head Waiter in charge of serving the upstairs room, a courteous and efficient person for the service!

16/09/2024: We discovered Le Centrale on Saturday evening.
Great atmosphere during the 80s concert.
We ate there and it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy quality products that were perfectly cooked.
The duck breast, a real treat, top cooking, tender meat.
The charcut' cheese terrine board to spread nikel for the aperitif.
And this little Lemoncello to conclude, just perfect.
The friendly and smiling staff.
The service is fast, considering a full room.
We had a great time both festively and taste-wise.
I highly recommend.
I would come back, that’s for sure 😊

14/01/2025: If you get the chance to visit La Cale grab it with both hands, everything was perfect, lunch was first class, a large open fire added to the atmosphere and roasted the leg of local lamb that my wife had, we will return soon, guaranteed

Super friendly, helpful, available staff. An extra card...
To do again.
Only problem, the quantity of the glass of Pepsi is 500ml! Huge.
But we honestly had a great time and ate really well.
