11/12/2025: A must-visit in Metz and Nancy! Never disappointed by the service or the food! We go there regularly!

18/11/2025: The goat cheese lasagna was generous with its creamy sauce and cheese. It was piping hot and served with excellent bread, allowing you to soak up every last drop of sauce. The pasta (lasagna) was a little overcooked. The music was too loud 🥴 And what can I say about the tiramisu! Pure bliss! Soft, light, melt-in-your-mouth, mmm 😋!

07/09/2024: Always a pleasure to come and eat at the Cave. The dishes are very good. Nice plating. Perfect desserts. Good value for money. Top wine advice. The staff is very pleasant and smiling. I come regularly and recommend this place.

07/09/2024: Came to eat on the terrace with my family, we had an excellent time. From starter to dessert, we had a great discovery, both visual and gustatory. Not being a fan of red, I nevertheless let myself be tempted by the proposed pairing, and it was a nice surprise. I highly recommend and will return with great pleasure.

04/07/2025: I'm really disappointed with today's service. Only two people served with about 40 guests. The consequence is very simple: a long wait upon arriving, standing in front of the terrace. Once seated, there was a 45-minute wait for the starter to be served, and the same amount of time for the main course. I didn't have time for dessert or coffee, of course, so getting back to work was difficult. Furthermore, I find the €75 bill not in line with the service: daily special, starter, main course, and 1 still water. No aperitif, no wine, no cheese, no dessert, or coffee. (A little smile from the two servers wouldn't have gone amiss.) A shame.

04/07/2025: The food is good, however, the wait is endless at lunchtime. I missed my 2 p.m. meeting and we couldn't have coffee or dessert. Very bad reception, long wait at the start before accessing the table, the 2 servers not very friendly. I wanted to organize my wedding there but I'm definitely not going to do it despite the good comments. 75 euros lunch menu for two people, starter, main course and still water.

27/08/2024: I came last night with my boyfriend. I loved this little place, it was super cozy in the evening with the lanterns, the servers were great and the food too!

26/08/2024: Disappointed! When we took our order, several drinks were not available... we would have liked to have been informed before taking our order! And again during desserts! We didn't have our dishes at the same time, sometimes several minutes difference so not great... so some ate cold. There were also oversights during the meal on the part of the servers... The dishes were overall quite good but not up to what we expected (nothing surprising) We will not come back again...

29/09/2024: Very good address, fair price and generous plates. The only downside for me was the beef which was a little "watery" on the pizza.

The dishes ordered - the butcher's cut, the beef carpaccio, and the gnocchi with chanterelles - were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. A small downside, however: the plate of gnocchi initially contained only two chanterelles. After pointing this out, the waiter brought us a whole bowl, which corrected this little disappointment. The atmosphere is also pleasant, with open kitchens allowing you to see the cooks at work. Overall, a very positive experience.

05/07/2025: The waiter? Gracious as a creaking prison door. He greets you with as much warmth as a tax notice. I've rarely seen such a haughty guy!

14/12/2024: Lots of waiting while tables were free but not cleared. At first I thought it was a lack of staff but that wasn't the case! No organizations, it was a question of who was going to do it? Three different dishes and two were not good unlike the kinepolis restaurant because I would not want these restaurants to be cataloged as bad. The quality of the dishes depends on the cook who makes them! I will not return to this one again!
