19/09/2026: Alexandre Mercier is a key figure in Nancy. Come to L'Echanson. I drank the best Tokay wines in the world there, ate delicious French pork, and played music in this absolutely fantastic place. For restocking your wine cellar, there's Serge across the street.

19/09/2026: Joy filled my heart when, after a grueling day at the Book Fair, I discovered L'Echanson, its welcoming atmosphere, the smiles and good humor of the two sommeliers, and a seat on the terrace—thank you, Raisin app! Then joy filled my mouth, my palate, my nervous and digestive systems, my entire being, in fact, when I savored the advice of these jovial sommeliers. No, more than joy when it came to the Jura red: pure ecstasy! Thank you for the discoveries, the kindness, the shared humor, the joviality, and I eagerly await the next edition of the Book Fair!

09/09/2026: A lovely discovery today: this restaurant with its very friendly owner. The meal was delicious and plentiful, served on a very quiet street. I'll definitely be back.

12/08/2026: So... The waiter was very nice, the pizza was very good, but we were forced to eat outside. Something I hate. Especially since we waited two hours for our food. And we had to put up with smokers all evening, who didn't just smoke while they were eating. And even then... That's not right. If you're going to force people to sit on the terrace, then it should be a non-smoking terrace. It ruined my evening. For that reason alone, I won't be back. Furthermore, I think the food is expensive overall. Except for the pizzas. Three scoops of ice cream for 8 euros. Outrageous. For that price, you can get three liters in a shop. I should mention that friends brought us here; I would never have gone on my own. It's really time things changed, and all terraces were non-smoking.

03/08/2026: A very pleasant place for a relaxing break. The pole bowl is excellent, and the children's menu is comprehensive. A major drawback is the wait time to be served or to have your order taken. The rather unusual service system makes it difficult to keep track of the tables. The toilets are disgusting due to the users' lack of manners.

24/07/2026: I had dinner for the first time at this restaurant, which has a veranda-like ambiance that's half Swiss chalet, half Thai. Frankly, the staff is not welcoming at all, and that needs to be said. As for the buffet, there's very little choice. The noodles were barely lukewarm, the chicken was quite good, but after 1 p.m., the food bins stopped being replenished. You almost feel like you're bothering them if you want to continue eating, even though the kitchen is supposed to close at 2 p.m.... In short, I don't think I'll be back because, all things considered, it's far too expensive for what it is.

19/07/2026: Underrated!! We went there and the terrace was full, but there was no bartender or barman anywhere, then an old man appeared, completely ready, and ordered 3 beers for us. We wanted to order the next round, which we indicated to the owner and the waitress, but they didn't even look at us... We went in to pay for the 3 beers, but this process also involved a 10-minute wait and then another 5 minutes of payment.

04/09/2026: We hired Paganis for our wedding last weekend and they were incredible: their service, their kindness, and the quality of the food. They made a giant lemon meringue pie for us—it was their first time making one, and it was a huge success. Highly recommended!

15/08/2026: We just finished our wedding with the Paganis! All our guests raved about it! From the visuals to our amazing servers and especially the quality of everything we ate!! It was simply excellent! A huge thank you to Margaux and her entire team.

11/09/2026: The welcome was friendly enough, but nothing more. It had been 16 years since my last visit. I'll probably be back again this year. The appetizer platter was okay, nothing special (€6), with fried food, pâté dripping with oil, and sausage that was barely 5mm thick. The matelotte consisted of two pieces of fish swimming in a tomato sauce that was far too smooth to be homemade (€10). The cannelloni of dry trout (€19) were disappointing, despite the acidic lemon béchamel sauce. I won't even mention the cafeteria-style desserts. All this for €100. Only the setting is worthwhile.

We were sad it had closed, so it's great that you've reopened 😃 Himalayan or Japanese cuisine is available, all made with fresh ingredients and prepared on-site. We were even offered a complimentary homemade lemonade. We'll be back!

21/03/2026: Ideal hotel with a fantastic restaurant. We had booked the suite. Very large room with a large bathroom and separate toilet. There is no elevator, so you shouldn't have mobility issues. The restaurant is fantastic. We chose the most extensive menu with the wine pairing. Fantastic. Breakfast was very extensive and of extremely high quality. We will go back here next time. The very large garden is very beautiful, and you can have breakfast or dinner outside there in warm weather.

02/09/2026: I've known this restaurant for several years, but my last meal there in August 2026 shocked me. I saw the cook scratching his head over the dishes and the waitress wiping her forehead with the cloth she was using for the glasses. So, never again.
