29/04/2026: I celebrated my first paycheck at this address in 1999. It had become a bit of a "canteen" for me, a place where we'd all get together with friends. I went back countless times before the change in management. What a shame that pizza has become a luxury item (the prices have become exorbitant, just like everything else in the 6th arrondissement). For comparison, in Cuneo (Piedmont): a Margherita costs €5.50. So, some will suggest that "you should just stay in Italy": to which I would reply: "WITH JOY." Reconsider your approach, and perhaps I'll consider coming back someday. In the meantime, I won't be recommending this place to my friends and family.

28/04/2026: The restaurant's hygiene was questionable. As for the toilets, they were deplorable at the very beginning of service, and despite the review, they closed a month ago for hygiene reasons.

16/05/2026: The service is friendly, and the seafood is excellent. However, I was disappointed with the salmon linguine; it was so oily and lacked flavor (apart from the salmon itself, which was very good).

05/05/2026: Loved it! The Halles in the morning for Brunch and made little stop for a oyster tasting. The staff was so friendly and explained to us how to eat the specific oysters. Seeing also how a bisque d’homard was freshly made and everyone was smiling! What a gooood start on a Sunday! Also thank you for the wine paring it was perfect for us!

29/06/2026: Unbelievable! Avoid this place at all costs! I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I've never seen such disgusting service and food! To begin with, a 45-minute wait for two wraps, about twenty takeout orders served before mine, and two dine-in orders placed after mine that came out first. When my order finally arrived, I went to eat, and the sauce on the wrap was so awful I almost threw up, so I immediately spat it all out. I went to the guy in the kitchen and told him his wrap was inedible and his sauce was expired. A sauce I always get from other places. I asked him to make it again, but he refused and started being rude. All this just so he could throw €7.50 at me as if I owed him money. You seriously need to rethink how you serve your customers! I will never set foot in this place again and I strongly advise against it!!!

07/06/2026: Paying €15 for a presale ticket only to be refused entry at the age of 20 is a disgrace, especially without a refund. The bouncers, besides being incompetent, are extremely unpleasant. Never go to Le Six unless you want to pay for a presale ticket for nothing!

09/06/2026: The waiter who served us outside gave our friend, who is allergic to alcohol, a "virgin" mojito with alcohol. He was very unpleasant, and I wouldn't recommend anyone come here, especially with better options right next door. A truly horrible experience, and bordering on dangerous. I'm disappointed.

27/04/2026: It's impossible not to fall in love with Le Chanteclair. Even on your first visit, you already feel like a regular. The atmosphere is exactly what you look for in a true Lyonnaise brasserie: warm, relaxed, and unpretentious. The verdant decor, with its flowers hanging from the ceiling, is a delightful surprise and gives the room a wonderful charm. As for the food, the chef doesn't go in for frills—and that's a good thing. The dishes are generous, straightforward, and well-executed. The burrata pesto starter was divine: creamy, fresh, with a perfectly flavored pesto. For the main course, the sea bream was cooked to perfection, meltingly tender inside and golden brown just the right amount. Simple yet expertly crafted flavors, like a Proustian madeleine with every bite. A very special mention goes to Soline, our waitress—simply exceptional. She recommended the burrata and the sea bream, and she was absolutely right! Smiling, attentive, and incredibly efficient even during the busiest times, she made our evening truly memorable with her infectious good humor and perfect knowledge of the menu. The kind of rare waitress who makes all the difference. The rest of the team is just as dynamic and cheerful—you can tell everyone is enjoying themselves, and it's palpable throughout the restaurant. The covered terrace on Boulevard de la Croix-Rousse is ideal for observing the neighborhood at any time of day, and the wine list by the glass is very reasonably priced. This is a place we'll definitely return to and recommend to anyone who wants to experience the authentic spirit of Croix-Rousse. Well done to the whole team, and thank you, Soline!

25/04/2026: Very disappointed: The service was subpar, the table and glasses were dirty and scratched. Furthermore, the menu shown on the official website was completely different from the one in the restaurant. It used to be better.

18/01/2026: The evening went extremely well. This is the third time we've booked a table at this bar on Thursdays before going to student nights, and whether there are 5 or 20 of us, we're always very well received. The waiter is friendly and patient, and the prices are the most affordable we've found in Lyon. The music selection is very tasteful, but not too loud, so we can still hear each other. We recommend it 100%, and plan to return as soon as possible.

07/05/2026: Absolutely avoid this place, the owner is awful. I went in to buy a pack of cigarettes, and there wasn't even a greeting. I went outside to sit on the terrace, and before I could even say I was having a cigarette while waiting for a friend, the owner told me I wasn't supposed to be smoking on a public bench! I was shocked by his aggression; he practically looked at me like he was about to hit me. It's a shame because, as a shopkeeper next door, I'm going to be spreading the word.

29/05/2026: I don't understand the high ratings. The Japanese curry really isn't good, and on top of that, it's very expensive for what it is. It's a shame because the service is quick and quite friendly!
