03/12/2024: Having come to this restaurant by chance and at the end of our service, we found a warm and professional welcome. Everything is homemade and the menu is small so at the end of the service a dish or two was missing, but that's normal and it's very good like that! Not an extension card. Tasty and simple cuisine. For my part it was Poultry Tournedos and crème brulée. Everything was perfect. Don't hesitate!

24/11/2024: This is such a buzzy place to have lunch in Cluny: There's a very comprehensive menu which should ensure everyone can find something they will like. The food is fresh, well prepared and presented, and keenly priced. A restaurant not to be missed if you are in the area. I suggest you book if wanting a table on a market day.

14/02/2026: A family stopover, a bit of a spur-of-the-moment find, and what a happy coincidence: a warm welcome, comfortable rooms, enthusiastic service, and a delicious dinner. The breakfast buffet offered something for everyone (crepes, pancakes, cold cuts, cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, etc.). An address to remember and share.

28/12/2025: The room was advertised as being on the ground floor: false, as there are 5 steps. Furthermore, it's far from being a 3-star room: the shower and toilet doors don't close, the bin is completely dented, the armchair is full of holes, the pillow protector is stained and the cover is much too big.

31/08/2024: We come regularly. Saturday evening at 9:20 p.m. we were turned away like trash by an arrogant waitress whom we ended up calling out because this person ignored us several times while we were waiting in front of the restaurant. Several tables were available but we were refused access because supposedly there was no longer a single table of 2. While all the tables are tables of 2.... in short.... very disappointed with this behavior. 2 loyal CUSTOMERS lost despite the good food. Fortunately in Chalon there is choice and still friendly and respectful people.

08/04/2026: The room was good: great bed, nice bathroom, very clean. We got a free upgrade which was nice and a very good gated parking. It is 5-7 minutes from the highway and Tournus is absolutely beautiful!! BUT - we did not sleep very well because the hotel is located near de railway and there was even at night A LOT OF TRAINS and traffic… lots of big trucks and cars during the whole night. A pity, because the hotel is good. BUT - if you keep the windows closed, it won’t be a problem.. but we sleep always with the windows open 😅

04/02/2026: We spent one night at the Hôtel du Rempart and were completely satisfied. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast room is beautiful. The restaurant is a great bonus. We recommend it.

19/07/2024: En arrivant,on dirait juste une maison et en ouvrant la porte on tombe sur un très joli petit restaurant.La cuisine est très bonne et le service efficace.Bonne continuation, nous reviendrons si nous sommes à nouveau de passage.

18/02/2024: Complexe agréable et neuf mais un peu bruyant. La bière est bonne et l’accueil agréable. Les chaussures sont neuves et propres. Vous pouvez venir en famille, il y a des activités pour ados et adultes.

25/10/2024: Lunch this afternoon, October 25, everything was perfect. Welcome, service, quality of dishes, wine, dessert... "the price is forgotten, the quality remains..." We will definitely come back!
