16/05/2026: A lovely hotel with charm. The entrance area/lobby is cozy, ideal for relaxing with a drink. The breakfast area and the breakfast itself are good. The rooms are functionally furnished, although the hallway outside is rather dark. Parking is available upon request, just a few minutes away. The reception staff were very friendly.

05/05/2026: Hotel in a quiet city center. The 4-star rating doesn't seem justified to me. Bathroom needs updating, bedding is worn, and breakfast is minimal.

13/09/2026: Nice campsite by the water. Beautiful spots, especially under the trees. You can go on beautiful bike rides from the campsite. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean. The washing-up area is a bit small. And you have to pay for bread rolls in cash, so always have some money with you! The restaurant upstairs is beautifully situated and overlooks the lake. Great food.

05/08/2026: The meal was very, very good, from the Ocean Salad for adults to the children's menu and the desserts (ice cream and fruit salad) – nothing to complain about. The service was quick. The staff was very pleasant. The only minor drawback was that the restaurant could use a quick sweep (dust and dead insects on the floor, a few cobwebs on the ceiling and chair legs), but I wouldn't say the place lacked hygiene. This is certainly due to the fact that at this time of year, the terrace is being used more and the restaurant windows are open to create a breeze. The restrooms were very clean.

28/08/2026: Visited here for a drink. Sat at table outside and waited and waited for service. We were totally ignored and after waiting for 15 minutes we left. They were not busy at all.

26/08/2026: Shameful! Waiting patiently on the terrace for 20 minutes! Well, he wouldn't take the order and doesn't like gay people.

17/08/2026: It took an hour and a half to get a table, and 50 minutes for a stale, two-day-old salad that was small. The chicken was defrosted and not hot, the gratin undercooked, the andouillette undercooked, and the calf's head, while tasty, had a plastic-tasting sauce. I strongly advise against going there. It's noisy during the fair, with people practically sitting on top of you. There are tons of people crammed into the bar, and we're eating behind it, packed in like sardines. There was no choice of desserts; two were missing from the menu. The apricot tart was uncooked and defrosted, best avoided. The toilets were neglected, and the room was dirty and broken.

16/08/2026: We went there on a Monday at lunchtime after the market, based on social media recommendations... what a disappointment! We arrived at 10:30 am and waited 30 minutes for three beers. The waitress had gone to serve the other tables and forgotten about us... The "Monday market special" menu included two slices of sausage, a slice of ham, and some (store-bought) tabbouleh on a dessert plate; calf's head with four pieces of potato, a bit of carrot, a piece of gelatin, and a small piece of meat; and a frozen red fruit tiramisu for dessert... €20 for the menu! In short, I don't recommend it.

08/03/2026: Lunch on a Sunday at 12:30 pm. One hour for the starter, nearly two hours to finish the main course. The food was decent, if simple (the only side dish was dauphinoise potatoes). At 2:35 pm, after more than two hours at the table, we very politely asked if it would be possible to speed up the cheese course or move on to dessert. The response: if we were in a hurry, we should have said so when we arrived… and it's already a good thing the restaurant is open on Sundays. So we moved on to dessert: no fruit, unlike at other tables. When it came time to pay, the bill was incorrect. When I calmly pointed it out, the chef replied: "You won't be back anyway," then added that I would have been better off saying nothing since the Mâcon wine was more expensive. He then accused us of having changed the menu… confusing us with the next table. And concluded: "If you're in a hurry on a Sunday, go to McDonald's." “At 50, and after eating at many restaurants, this is the first time I’ve been treated like this. The food was decent, but the welcome and service were truly regrettable.” Everyone will have their own opinion.

20/08/2026: I was disappointed by the service. The baker was really unfriendly and her tone was very condescending. I'm a regular customer; I come every day. As I was leaving the restroom, before going to my van to get my phone so I could pay, she told me the restrooms were reserved for customers. I found this remark quite inappropriate since I'm a regular customer of this bakery and I come here daily. She could have simply told me with more politeness and respect. As for the products, no complaints, they're Marie Blachère. However, the service and the way they speak to customers really need improvement.

16/07/2026: The pastries are on par with other bakeries of the same type. However, the friendliness of the staff could be improved. Also, watch out for ants in the display cases and on the products...

20/08/2026: The food was truly awful!!! The plate was served extremely quickly… But it arrived barely lukewarm! Definitely prepared in advance. The meat was full of gristle. The fresh fruit salad in August consisted of apples and two strawberries!!! 🙄 (completely wilted). In short, avoid this place.

25/07/2026: Very disappointing welcome. My family and I sat on the terrace, which was completely empty after lunch service had ended, to have hot drinks and food we had bought in the shopping center. We were given no information about any rules we had to follow. A few minutes later, other customers, regulars, sat down with the same food from outside, but were warmly welcomed and served without any comment. Upon seeing us, the waitress had the nerve to say, "Well, they're cheeky," then criticized us for sitting there, adding, "If my boss were here, he would have kicked you out." An inappropriate and unprofessional attitude. The terrace was empty, service was over, and we intended to eat in. The lack of courtesy and the inconsistency in customer service made this a regrettable experience. ------------------------------------------------- Reply to the owner's message. To set the record straight and address your accusations: Regarding the origin of the food: There was only one small cooler for our young children's meal and our own. The rest of the food came directly from the adjacent E.Leclerc supermarket, of which your establishment is a part. Regarding the charge and the €1.50 coffee (Article L. 121-11 of the French Consumer Code): Paying for a coffee makes us full customers. Mocking the amount spent is inappropriate: if we limited our order to the bare minimum, it was precisely because your aggressive welcome upon arrival discouraged us from ordering more. Regarding the lack of instructions (Article L. 111-1 of the French Consumer Code): No restrictions or prohibitions concerning the terrace were posted at the entrance. We sat discreetly at the far end of the terrace and left the premises impeccably clean. Respect and education are mutual: knowing how to welcome customers without condescension or contempt, regardless of the amount of the bill, is also part of the job of a shopkeeper.

15/04/2026: This is rock bottom! It can't last at this rate. Catastrophic service, mediocre food, cold plates... and to top it all off, they insist on cash payment, supposedly due to a problem with the card reader. I asked, "Since when?" The answer was "since yesterday." So why weren't we informed about this when we made our reservation or when we arrived?! A complete rip-off! Another one that's going to close down!!

14/03/2026: Excellent cuisine with sophisticated and flavorful dishes. You can taste the chef's creativity and the quality of the ingredients. A delight every time! Highly recommended!

31/08/2026: Very disappointed, and unfortunately, this isn't the first time. The problems seem to be becoming a regular occurrence: a very long wait, about 30 minutes this time, a problem with the payment, and then an incomplete order. I had to ask for a missing item while I was there, and once I got home, I realized something else was missing. When this type of problem keeps happening, it becomes frankly frustrating. There's clearly a lack of rigor in order preparation and verification. The staff also need to be given the necessary resources to be more efficient and provide adequate service. Unsatisfactory service that needs serious improvement.

26/06/2026: We had a lovely time at this brasserie, where the quality-price ratio is very good. Simple and satisfying dishes, served very quickly, and the servers are both efficient and friendly. There's a large outdoor terrace. I recommend it for a good and quick meal.

19/06/2026: A pleasant, refreshing break with a delicious ice cream sundae on the terrace. However, the prices are very high. It's a Carrefour in Chalon, not by the sea.
