20/11/2025: St Gilles was a great find for our team while we were in Le Mans scouting a few shops. We stopped there for lunch and were truly impressed: a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere, and very friendly service. The dishes were fresh, generous, and full of flavor, beautifully presented, and served without too much of a wait (perfect for us in the middle of a busy workday). You can tell it's a genuine local spot, not a tourist trap. I highly recommend St Gilles if you're in this part of Le Mans – ideal for a tasty and unpretentious lunch during a busy day in the city. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.

13/10/2025: Incredible St. Gilles steak with its delicious cheddar sauce, a very nice surprise, and the dessert is also very, very good, the pear and chocolate cup is generous. Simple homemade cuisine, very good.

12/03/2026: Very limited space; the table layout needs improvement. The tables weren't clean, and glasses were stuck together. The food was decent, but it's a shame the seafood sauerkraut was prepared with cream instead of beurre blanc.

11/03/2026: I regularly go to La Taverne du Mans for business meals and I have never been disappointed!

18/12/2025: A huge disappointment. The pizzas were barely topped; we mostly ate dough. The pizzas were served cold, even though they were prepared in front of us, which is incomprehensible. The cheese pizza: the cheese wasn't melted, there was no cream, and no flavor. The "small" pizza: no goat cheese or walnuts, despite being advertised on the menu. The quality was truly inadequate, especially considering the exorbitant price for what we ate.

06/12/2025: Excellent lunch in my helmet during my visit to the circuit. Smoked salmon bruschetta with citrus, pollack with beurre blanc sauce (perfectly cooked), tiramisu. Simple but well prepared.

10/03/2026: Very disappointed with the service. There was a misunderstanding between the waitresses, and above all, it was the worst pizza experience so far. Even a supermarket pizza would have been better! We preferred to leave without ordering dessert. We stopped by for dinner on February 12th.
