18/05/2026: Avoid at all costs! I was a returning guest for a couple of years because I came once a month for business in the region. Please note this is written in the past sense. The hotel offered my a couple of years ago the following arrangement (Also note: they proposed this themselves!): they'd call me each month to see if I'd come: yes or no. In all these years, I maybe once didn't come and warned them about that. Otherwise, I always stayed here. A couple of months ago they forgot my reservation. Well, shit happens and I didn't make a fuss about it. Tonight this unfortunately happened for the second time. The lady at the desk tried to put the blame in my shoes, only gave a half hearted excuse and offered no solution at all for a regular guest. This is not the way to deal with loyal guest. I've always been polite and kind with the staff, always took dinner in their restaurant too. In return, I get this. I'm a female solo traveller, far from home, do you want me to sleep in the parking lot? I normally don't write bad reviews because I know from personal experience how harmful these can be, but now I had to. It is really a pity, Brit hotel le cottage, but I won't come back to any of your hotels due to this event and I won't hestitate to tell other travellers about this.

02/05/2026: A fantastic find! Passing through Le Mans and always on the hunt for the best kebab spots in France, I stumbled upon Sultan. Despite its unassuming storefront, the moment you step inside, you're greeted warmly! The staff is friendly and smiling. The homemade bread is soft and crispy, the veal is homemade, and the white sauce tastes just like my childhood. The raw vegetables are fresh and hold their shape well. The harissa and white sauce combo was perfect. Treat yourself! At €9.50 for a kebab and fries, I think it's a very reasonable price for the quality, especially in a world where good kebabs are becoming increasingly rare, and even rarer for under €10. Thanks so much, guys! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. All the best in the meantime!

21/04/2026: A unique oriental restaurant with a stunning decor. The owners are a lovely couple. The food is absolutely delicious, varied, and generously portioned. On Saturday evenings, there's also a belly dancing show. They also offer takeout... For a great meal, it's a sure bet; we've been going there for many years... 🥰

06/05/2026: Passing through the area, I had lunch at the restaurant of this hotel. The service and welcome were excellent. A starter and main course cost €15. For the starter, I had a very creamy and flavorful asparagus velouté, and for the main course, cod (from the daily specials board). It was truly delicious and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend this establishment.

17/04/2026: A bit pricey for an overnight stay considering the level of comfort and relative quiet of the city center, but a very good restaurant and a great team.

11/07/2026: We absolutely do not recommend this place; it took 40 minutes for just two drinks. The order was ready but wasn't served, and the staff wasn't very friendly. First and last time at this McDonald's.

11/07/2026: Hello. We stopped at this McDonald's on our way to our vacation destination because it has an electric vehicle charging station. We placed our order through the app. When the order arrived, the napkins, sauces, salt, and Happy Meal toys were missing. The sandwich brought to my husband wasn't the right one, but since he wasn't used to it, he didn't realize it right away. The cashier categorically refused to exchange it. When we went to collect the ice cream, there was also a mistake with the children's ice creams, and there were no spoons, but we didn't say anything because we were in a hurry to leave. The atmosphere there was really unpleasant: it's very noisy, there are many undesirable people, and a few regulars who behave as if they were in their living room. The parking lot isn't marked for pedestrians, which makes it very dangerous. In addition, drivers and motorcyclists drive like maniacs. I was surprised to see a security guard in a McDonald's, now I understand his purpose.

04/07/2026: A delightful discovery. Excellent food. The portions are generous and the meat superb. A wide selection of desserts. Conveniently located just off the motorway; we'll be back. Highly recommended.

22/05/2026: My partner and I ate at this pizzeria during a hike exploring the Alpes Mancelles. It was a delight for both the eyes and the taste buds! The setting is charming, and from our table on the terrace, we could see the hills so beloved by the people of Sarthe. We both ordered pizzas, and, as true connoisseurs, we were both surprised and delighted to find them among the best we've ever had. The quality of the ingredients and the dough is perfect, and you won't be disappointed with the portion size! All this for a very reasonable price. In short, we recommend this place without hesitation 😊

16/05/2026: This concept can't be compared to other all-you-can-eat buffets; here, you're served on demand, with extra-fresh and generous portions of sushi. My son loves the mackerel sushi and insists that Hoki Sushi is where he eats the best sushi, maki, and stir-fried noodles. It's the only restaurant we go to when we're craving sushi. We went there last night, and it's always a success.
