22/02/2026: We came today to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! We really appreciated the thoughtful touches. The young waiter was simply excellent, a future star, without a doubt! As for the food, what can I say… beautifully presented, with generous and high-quality portions. We highly recommend this restaurant!

16/02/2026: A wonderful discovery at Amélie&Compagnie ❤️ Reopened in November, the restaurant seems to have found a new lease of life… and what a lease of life it is! We had dinner there for Valentine's Day and the evening was simply perfect. The meal was delicious, with a very reasonable price (which is quite rare and worth mentioning, especially on February 14th 😉). The dishes were flavorful and generous; you can tell they really care about what they do. The place is very large, with a huge dance floor. That evening, there was a DJ: we started the evening gently, with slow dances and romantic waltzes on the theme of love… then, little by little, the atmosphere built and we ended up on the dance floor 💃🕺 It was impossible to resist! The service team was fantastic: smiling, efficient, and attentive. As for the manager, she's incredibly friendly, attentive, and exceptionally energetic. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her establishment, and that makes all the difference. In short, a perfect Valentine's Day, with delicious food, a lovely atmosphere, and a few dance steps. We'll definitely be back... and maybe even with our dancing shoes on next time 😄

16/12/2025: Along the roads to Notre-Dame-du-Pé, in a land rich with rivers, woods, and fertile soil, I, Sir Ludovic de Téléton, traveling with a large delegation of my men, stopped at an inn called the Poacher's Inn. Although we were numerous, we received a warm and honorable welcome, without disturbance or misunderstanding, as is fitting in a well-governed land. I could not conceal my astonishment at the name of the said inn, for everyone knows that, for a lord holding a fief and jurisdiction, poaching is not tolerable, since it violates hunting rights and seigniorial order. However, after careful consideration, I understood the cleverness and wisdom of the place: here, no one poaches the land or the woods, but only the best products are "poached," drawing from the region its meats, herbs, and know-how, without fraud or violence. The host, a man of keen intellect and loyal heart, runs his household with integrity, feeding a large number of people without compromising on quality, a rare and praiseworthy skill. The dishes served testified to the abundance of the region and the respect for local customs, and each of my people was nourished as if they were of noble lineage. Thus we departed satisfied, praising both the region and the house, and I concluded, in my lordly judgment, that while the name may be amusing, the work is honest, upright, and trustworthy, which speaks louder than words.

17/02/2026: I'm from La Ferté-Macé, and we hate buffets, so we wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve in a traditional, home-style restaurant. We made a special decision and ordered seven courses, from appetizer to dessert. My husband and I ordered frog legs, calamari (with extra hot sauce because we like it spicy), Thai beef, and Peking duck—all excellent. The stir-fried noodles with vegetables and plain rice were exquisite. The staff was very friendly. What more can I say? I'll definitely be back, even though it's a bit of a drive, to try the other dishes on the menu.
