It's rare and much appreciated to find a team that works so well together. The food was excellent and served quickly. 18/05/2026: For those wishing to discover the Ronsard Valley, explore it, or stay for a few days, this is a simple hotel with a family atmosphere and very friendly, attentive managers. A quiet, well-located place that comes highly recommended. Restaurant on site. Simple and hearty breakfast.

08/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at the restaurant of the Grand Hôtel de Solesmes. The setting is superb, calm and bright, with a lovely view overlooking the garden. The food is simply perfect! Seasonal produce, expertly cooked. The staff is incredibly attentive, professional yet warm. Excellent value for money for an exceptional experience. An address to treasure.

07/07/2026: We dined on the terrace in the restaurant's back courtyard. It was very pleasant. We only ordered one main course followed by dessert, but we were very pleasantly surprised by this bistro-style restaurant, which was new to us. Veal steak with nectarine, cod loin with satay sauce, pistachio shortbread, rum baba (the attached photos speak for themselves). A good combination of flavors, without being overpowering. We could have given it 5/5, but we would still recommend that the otherwise very friendly waiter wear Bermuda shorts (because of the heat) that don't look like athletic wear. 11/06/2026: We had just arrived in LeMans from Paris and needed to find an easy dinner spot. We ordered a Carnivore pizza and two Caesar salad with chicken. The pizza had a barbecue sauce base, multiple types of meat, and was delicious. The salads were huge and came on plates as large as the pizza. Between the two of us, we finished the pizza and had nearly a full salad left over for takeaway.

03/07/2026: Excellent lunch at Bistrot des Gourmets. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was delicious. I loved the melon, watermelon, and tomato carpaccio: a refreshing summer starter! The staff was very welcoming, and the restaurant's dining room was beautifully renovated a few months ago.

27/06/2026: Excellent service! We were served by Ambroise, a very friendly, professional, smiling, and helpful young man. The food was delicious; a great place to eat!

22/05/2026: Based on the photos, we were expecting a less dated interior. But anyway, that's not the most important thing. The service was absolutely impeccable, professional, perfect. However, the problems started: We arrived at 7:30 pm at 3 pm. There were two tables for two, one of which had already had its appetizers finished. We ordered cocktails. And then: foie gras! The menu listed foie gras, side dishes, etc. It was PAN-SEARED foie gras, and this wasn't mentioned at all!!! We don't particularly like it, so it was a huge disappointment. THIS SHOULD BE INDICATED! And then what? In total, we had an aperitif and a starter in 2 hours. The small restaurant filled up. They served starters to everyone. And we didn't get our main course until 9:30 PM. TWO HOURS for the main course! Not exceptional, okay, in short, nothing special. Dessert: cheese, obviously that goes quickly. So, 7:30 PM / 10:20 PM, almost 3 hours, that's way too long. If you come with children, even 8 or 9 years old, for Grandma's birthday, it would be hell. So, for us, disappointed, LOOOOOOONG, and in the end, meh. For €220 for 3 people, no thanks.
