19/07/2024: I have just had a very bad experience in this establishment that I have been frequenting since 2017. I am really disappointed with the service and the hygiene. I would like to point out that I have never had any problems there before, but today it was huge. So, here is my story: I came home and ordered a Bistro menu for around €8 with quiche Lorraine, apple tart and a Sprite to eat on site, the quiche was warmed up by a very kind lady of course, so far everything was going well, then when taking the apple pie, I noticed that her colleague was taking a pie and replacing the apple slices on it with her fingers without gloves, I came and said then this young lady made me understand that it wasn't my pie, that mine was already in the package, so Okay...! So I received my order and I went to sit down to eat, then my mouth became bitter (Besides, I wonder why my mouth was still bitter an hour later, it's not normal.) But Short... I noticed that the rest of the quiche that was in the package was burnt, so I went back inside to mention that and the young lady who had touched the slices of tart came up to me and told me that the quiches are all like that and it's normal, so I say "OK", "so I have to throw it away", she answers me (OK!) as if nothing had happened. So I go back to eat my tart and I notice little crumbs of burntness in the apricot topping, I'm going to mention this and there! It takes on a whole new dimension. The young lady started telling me that if I don't like what's there, I can just go somewhere else, because she's been working there for 2 years and the quiches have always been like that as well as apple pies. Fortunately his colleague came to calm things down and made a very "kind" little commercial gesture, "while telling me all the same: (if everyone did that for a can of Sprite). So I told him that it was he who asked me what I wanted, so if this is the turn it takes, I'll leave it to you I say small commercial gesture, because in the end, I consumed 2 Sprites for €8. whereas just before, I was at single price The most expensive Sprites of my life.

23/04/2024: John's American and Scandinavian provided us with our half board option for our ski trip. Breakfast was an extensive cold selection with cereals, fruit, meat and cheese with various breads and boiled eggs. Dinner at the scandi side was 3 course from a set menu (Veg and fish options) and all very high quality in a nice atmosphere. At the Am side on the lower road, this was a more typical US selection, also very nice and with a noisier atmosphere to go with the food. Both were great and the service was friendly and quick. Highly recommended.

15/04/2024: I had a wonderful dining experience at Scandinavian Brasserie and Wine Bar in Val Thorens. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect after a long day on the slopes. The staff, especially Lea and Emma, were exceptionally welcoming and professional, ensuring a memorable evening. The Skagen Toast was absolutely phenomenal, bursting with flavor, and a must-try. Another standout was their homemade hot shot, a unique concoction that warms you right up. A visit here is a delightful blend of great food and heartwarming hospitality, making it a top recommendation for anyone in the area.

20/08/2024: Je suis vraiment fan de ce restaurant. Un grand bravo au chef, un poulet basquaise délicieusement préparé, suivi d'un café gourmand exceptionnel. Le kir et le verre de rosé sont très plaisants. Il est primordial de ne rien modifier au niveau du service et de la cuisine. Tout est absolument parfait.👍

28/03/2024: Really great place!! Very friendly!! Top bosses!! The dishes are amazing!! We had a blast!! Remember to book!! We ate 4 evenings during the week, and when we return to Menuires, it will be our restaurant for every evening!! (Signed 1 of 3 Dijon!)
