04/09/2024: Excellent times spent at the ice cream parlor where the staff takes great care! Nice setting at the water's edge, comfortable both on the sofas and at the table to enjoy excellent ice creams! A little more lounge atmosphere in the evening which is very pleasant. Thank you, we will come back next year!

Pleasant setting, friendly welcome, impeccable and efficient service, a quality chef in the kitchen! An address that deserves to be known!

05/09/2024: Seen from the outside...it's not easy...but past the door and once on the shaded terrace by the water it makes perfect sense. We are happy there and we want to stay there...the cuisine is obviously well done and with good fresh produce. For me and with such a good product, I would have even liked more simplicity in the dishes, but the desire to do well cannot be punished. The service is also good. I recommend it’s a good meal for sure.

16/09/2024: The service was terrible. We was at first given a table on our own by the toilets which was crammed and had people continually passing us by. We asked to move as there was other tables available. We did get moved but we was very crammed in a corner still. The food we was served (actually plonked on the table) was not what we ordered on the menu and we wasn’t told beforehand they never had what we ordered so they just gave us an alternative plate which was of ham chips & lettuce instead. Never felt so insulted. Treated like cattle just another tourist. The waitresses need customer service skills. Would never return here. Recommend you spend a few more euro's and get better service quality & FOOD elsewhere!

19/09/2024: This is a very cute and charming restaurant in an alley in Avignon. I found this while looking for a restaurant with no break times. The owner doesn't speak English, but we communicated with him through hand gestures and simple words so we ordered. The chef-recommended cream chicken dish is also delicious. The tomato gazpacho for entree was really delicious. The main fish pasta was a little fishy, ​​but the original flavor of the ingredients was good. The creme brûlée is also delicious. It was a very enjoyable meal.

14/09/2024: i was visiting the south of France where I am from with my Canadian boyfriend. I have dual citizenship. We wanted to go this particular restaurant. We tried to call several times over two days. The voice mail was full. There was no way to reserve on line or no email address to be able to communicate with someone. We decided to show up hoping for the best. The person working that night did not come to greet us. She addressed us from afar telling us that there was no space. There was an empty table right beside us. We pointed it out to her. She totally dismissed us. I told her that we have been trying to reserve a table for few days but that we were unable to talk to anyone. That I was from Avignon and that I was hoping that she would do the right thing. She did not. She actually told my significant other that he could come back in half hour for coffee but that I was not welcome. I was very polite the whole time. What kind of restaurant makes this type of comments? I was actually ashamed of what she portrayed my country to be. Such a poor customer service. No basic respect. We ended up leaving and finding a much nicer restaurant with great food and customer service. I certainly would not recommend this restaurant. I have never been so poorly treated and disrespected as a customer. They have a lot to learn!

25/09/2024: Really exceptional restaurant with a warm welcome from busy hard working staff. Delicious food in a cosy atmosphere thanks to the flame heaters by the table . Scallops for me and lamb shanks for him. Both very good. Highly recommend

20/09/2024: Mooie rustige plek in de stad, vriendelijk personeel, eten is goed maar niet speciaal. Wijn was wel heel lekker. We komen terug!

27/08/2024: Frankly, it's super expensive for not something extraordinary.... undercooked camembert, not runny... bull rib difficult to chew... and their crème brûlée with Venice balsam is a failure! The cream was not set at all, very runny.... and a taste...... (warning the waitress not even a gesture while the crème brûlée was a failure) in short to get by at 130 had I ate in much cheaper and much better restaurants. Luckily very nice servers

28/08/2024: On vacation in the bastide of dreams, we followed Corine's advice and went to Lou Lubéron. It’s a simple and friendly place, you feel good there. The interior has a lot of charm. The service is perfect. The waitress is very attentive and anticipates our requests. We tasted Provençal dishes: pistou soup and octopus stew. Everything is homemade and very tasty. Special mention for the octopus sauce. Congratulations to the chef.

19/09/2024: Super lekker gegeten. Wijn keuze was enorm. Ik koos voor een rode wijn uit de streek, perfect op kamer temperatuur 👌👌👌 Het personeel en de service waren gewoon TOP!!! Zeer zeker een aanrader! Wij gaan in ieder geval nog terug 😀👌 Hele goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.

07/09/2024: Coincé pres d un parking de supermarché, la vue est désagréable et le bruit incessant.... arrivés à 19 h 30 on nous installe et nous sommes servis tres rapidement. La viande et les accompagnements sont irreprochables. Par contre apres 30 minutes voir plus d attente pour obtenir un dessert. Rien... 2 personnes pour servir une qui fait la conversation avec ses amis qui boivent un verre, l autre qui a du mal à prendre une commande pour une grande table... Si vous avez beaucoup de temps à perdre je recommande, pour les autres les temps d attente sont lamentables. Bref voyant que les 2 serveurs ne suivaient pas.... nous sommes allés prendre notre dessert ailleurs. dommage pour ce manque d organisation penalisant pour les clients😪

20/09/2024: Made reservations for a Thursday night. Food was very good! Each dish was made very well and the flavors all complemented each other. The owners serve you and prepare the food and you can tell they take great pride in the prep and their patrons. Highly recommend a stop here. For 100 euros, the seven course menu plus wine is a great value in Avignon. The one thing to take L’Agape up another notch is to improve the by the glass and bottle selections. There is only one white, rose, red, and sparkling to choose from by the glass. The by the bottle list is above average.

10/09/2024: On the advice of a #Vignarès wine merchant met during a tasting at Domaine Richaud, we had lunch there today with great pleasure. Subtle and elegant cuisine, charming terrace and equally charming service. Address to remember

11/08/2024: We had a lovely meal here. The owner/chef was marvellous not only at making the best food but also very hospitable. We called to book for dinner but it was late by the time we called and the restaurant had closed. He opened the restaurant for lunch even though normally it is not open. How kind!

07/08/2024: Incredible food on an excellent recommendation from our hotel… one to watch out for a Michelin recommendation if he doesn’t have it already! Great classic French ingredients with a modern twist… a must visit in Avignon. Incredible to see what this guy can do!

13/09/2024: Déception totale sur les plats, la cuisine n’est même pas digne d’une brasserie moyenne. C’est une honte. Assiette froide, plat insipide pour ma part, prix exorbitant pour le contenu de l’assiette. Je ne parle pas de la truffe d’été, Le service est par contre irréprochable. Passez votre chemin.
