07/05/2026: Passing through this village at lunchtime, we spotted this little restaurant and stopped in, managing to eat without a reservation! No regrets, as the menu was homemade and offered great value for money!! We discovered a lovely local wine from the Roaix winery 👍 so a good excuse to stop and enjoy a tasting 😋

24/05/2026: A restaurant that may not look like much, but aims for a friendly, unpretentious atmosphere. Peanuts are already on the table when you arrive, then you're offered an aperitif of your choice, followed, of course, by a choice of choice, high-quality cuts of meat cooked over charcoal. The side dishes are homemade. The service is warm, friendly, pleasant, and humorous. The only slight drawback is the time; if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you. Here, you need time to appreciate and savor the experience.

09/05/2026: The food is delicious. My wife had a specialty of cheese fritters with charcuterie, and let me tell you, her plate was completely empty! I had an excellent Corsican pizza. They also had little snacks and a nice little wine. All the staff are very friendly, and the restrooms are very clean, which is important. I highly recommend "Chez mon cousin Alphonse." André

11/06/2026: Wow. What a wonderful dinner we just experienced at this little restaurant. Reservations are a must as even on a Thursday night the restaurant was full and many were turned away. The menu is entirely on a chalk board and changes daily and tonight through the dinner as dishes sold out. I had the most delightful and delicious pork filet minion in a gorgonzola sauce which was likely the best meal I've had in my 3 weeks in France. There is plenty of parking in the town but don't expect to snag a spot in front of the restaurant, which allows you to take a short walk to settle your meal afterwards. Bravo to the chef and staff.

18/05/2026: We had lunch on Saturday at noon, as we were in the area for an event and had chosen this restaurant based on reviews. We were quite disappointed… Tomato coulis with two small balls of mozzarella… very expensive and the mozzarella was bland. The andouillette sausage was hard to digest. The setting was pleasant, but the service was a bit slow. A shame.

17/01/2026: Fantastic welcome! The owner has been there since 2012. I first went in 2017, and it was an excellent experience. I went back yesterday to confirm my excellent memory. I'm extremely picky and a purist when it comes to pizza quality, and I've finally found THE pizzeria in France! The only downside: I live 130km away. So either I travel there, or the pizzeria moves! 😉 I highly recommend it in any case!! And I'll be back!

11/05/2026: We had the set lunch menu for €20 and were very satisfied. Greek salad as a starter, wonderfully tender duck breast as a main course. For dessert, we had one of the best lemon tarts I've ever eaten. Excellent value for money.
