02/09/2024: Very good restaurant, top service, small downside on the decor because even if the important thing is on the plate and the view is very beautiful the rest is a little too sober (be careful this is only my opinion) and big downside on the payment "American style" with a tip calculated as a percentage of the bill...so indeed we have the choice at the start on the device but for those who don't know the system: big surprise. Remember that Americans largely pay their employees this way, this is not the case in France. Otherwise we ate very well and special mention to the sommelier who delighted us 👍

25/08/2024: Long story short, they don't pay attention to allergies. I told them multiple times about a severe shellfish allergy. Twice upon making my reservation. Twice upon my arrival. I was assured each time that it wouldn't be a problem. Additionally, I went through the 5 course tasting menu since that is what I intended to order. I pointed out the dishes that I couldn't eat and was assured that it wasn't a problem and that they could make substitutions. After all of that, they served me a dish that included a bisque made with lobster. I knew it upon my first taste. When I asked the staff, they confirmed my suspicion. They removed the dish and apologized. When I received my bill, there was no adjustment made. I even paid for the dish that I couldn't eat???? So disappointing, I expected better. Now, on my last night in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, instead of enjoying the town, I'm in bed drugged to on benadryl and covered in hydrocortisone cream to try to battle the hives. Thank God I didn't have to use my epi pen.

18/09/2024: While looking for a place to eat at 3 p.m., we tried here, on the terrace. If you're looking for a place to have a snack, that's fine. Crepes/galettes are not cheap (15€ even for veg). The complete crepe costs 11€. And the staff was pleasant. The interior is nice, though, to try when the kitchen is officially open.

01/09/2024: A very quaint place with friendly staff. Food was tasty and it was a cool place to rest away from the beaming sunshine.

24/07/2024: Delicious salads and hot dishes of the day...visited on market day so it was busy...had to wait 15 mins for table but the food made up for the wait...burrata salad cheese chaud salad and grilled cod with ratatouille and potatoes all excellent washed down with local beer, vin rosé or homemade lemonade a la menthe!

28/08/2024: Belle cuisine canaille toujours régulière et le plaisir de vivre un moment unique dans ce jardin soigné plein de charme. Un accueil délicieux des propriétaires et une équipe rare au service ( un fidèle garçon extraordinaire qui se reconnaîtra toujours sympathique même dans les moments d'affluence!!!) Et idem pour le jardin du quai autour d'une cuisine fine et gourmande à travers les saisons. Incontournable à l'isle sur sorgue. Merci.

25/08/2024: Giardino bellissimo e cena stupenda. Con servizio cortese, simpatico e disponibile. Come antipasti abbiamo preso un gaspacho, un uovo alla maionese e uno gnocchetto al pesto che erano tutti ottimi. A seguire 2 tagliate di tonno marinato che era veramente superlativo come il petto d’ anatra è il merluzzo con verdure .

25/08/2024: Big big disappointment! Despite an exceptional steak tartare... served with reheated, shriveled and hard fries... A very mediocre charcuterie board to share... 4 slices of sausage, 8 slices of rolled breast, 2 slices of raw ham... and lots of pickles!!! No salad, no cherry tomatoes seen in a photo, no pâté... and to top it off, slices of stale bread that seemed to have been taken from one table to another... ending up on ours ! An eggplant and goat cheese puff pastry that was too iced, which prevented me from finding any flavor in it... It was our 4th visit, the previous ones having been very convincing... It would have been the last! Too bad, because the site is attractive, despite the fact that the restaurant is located in an artisanal area!

06/08/2024: Delicious food! Great price/quality! Nice place to sit! (Although the parking space is a bit of a deterrent) Worth the effort! We will go back there again :)

27/08/2024: Nothing to complain about, the setting is magnificent. The rooms and the swimming pool are a haven of peace, the staff is very welcoming. I also recommend the BACHETO hotel restaurant, the cuisine is excellent.

05/08/2024: Accidental discovery during a trip, great restaurant, great service. But you have to go look for it, lack of visibility, but go there, it’s great!

31/07/2024: We just had a tartare for €18.50, which is in fact just a tray of minced meat, the condiments which are supposed to be mixed with the meat are just placed next to it without salt or pepper of course! The sauces were brought to us when we were almost finished eating! (No time to return to work!) Tasteless and tasteless with a 45 minute wait for a tray of minced meat! It's up to you to make your dinner and all this on a very narrow rectangular plate! The so-called homemade fries had to be day-old and unsalted. The friendliness of the waitresses is as poor as the contents of the plate. I should have refused the plate...! In short, bad choice... we won't come back, that's for sure.

17/07/2024: Parfait petit restaurant de pâtes. Deuxième fois que nous y allons avec mon garçon de 10 ans, a l'occasion du festival d'Avignon. En plus d'être reçu par une équipe très agréable et souriante, les sauces sont cuisinées et excellentes, et le tarif est plus que correct pour la ville et la période. Nous recommandons 👏
