18/07/2024: Superbe soirée hier. Un repas organisé comme un ballet. Une succession de plats savoureux et délicatement préparés. Le décor du restaurant est un autre point fort de cette adresse. Le bib gourmand est largement mérité. Merci à cette brillante équipe.

15/09/2024: Nous ne connaissions pas. Nous avons pu jouir d'un cadre cossu et cocooning, une salle où nous étions 8 à une table ovale. Ce fut particulièrement agréable, car nous étions assez à l'écart des rires et clameurs des convives qui possiblement fêtaient un anniversaire dans la salle principale. Une soirée vraiment sans soucis et pleine de convivialité. Les plats étaient assurément excellents . Bravo au chef ! Le service était également très pro !

Trés bon rapport qualité prix par rapport aux restaurants du reste de la ville... cela merite vraiment de mettre quelques euros de plus à son addition et d'avoir le plaisir de cette expérience culinaire dans ce bel endroit et son magnifique jardin
17/08/2024: We've stayed and/or eaten at La Mirande many times over the past 15-20 years, and this was the worst meal we have ever had, and the most expensive. No choice, apart from stating what we didn't want or like, and even that wasn't followed. One single St. Jaques, absolutely nothing special. Several mackerel, a totally un-nobel fish. Several individual plates which were good. The crab dish was exceptional, and the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately we were given the pork dish which has a sauce made from pigs blood, and I specifically stated that I did not want that dish (I had read about it before). Deserts were OK, The wine was faire. Years ago they always had exceptional wines by the glass. No longer true. On our next visit, we'll either eat downstairs or in the bar. Never again will I eat in the restaurant until they either change the chef or the menu.

25/08/2024: While passing through Avignon, we had lunch with family in this place which was formerly the palace stables. Good discovery, it seems to be an address renowned for its Italian dishes. The sharing platters are well stocked, the risotto and fish of the day are excellent. Concerning the desserts, I appreciated this slightly unstructured effect and revisited classic recipes of yesteryear, without losing the flavors. The service was good, maybe a little long. An address that I recommend.

31/08/2024: I was recommended and not disappointed with the trip! Visit in August, there is a choice. The atmosphere is family-friendly without fuss, I personally like that, we find that in Italy, the cantinas where we are comfortable like at home. I had a double pistachio cone, my nieces some sorbets and we sat on the terrace.
I have found my favorite taste of pistachio which is difficult to obtain. I am sure that only good products can achieve this result. I found the balance with the sugar, neither too much nor too little, even if I personally like it less sweet. My nieces took blackcurrant sorbets from a jar, I tasted them and found the nice tangy and refreshing taste of the fruit. The girls were delighted. My cone was very crispy and delicious. And the price is absolutely reasonable!
In short, I had a great time with my family and I highly recommend the address to anyone who asks me what to do in Orange!

14/06/2024: Restaurant discovered by pure chance... And chance does things well. The crispy sea bass with its marinated tuna belly was excellent, as was the creamy risotto with dried tomatoes and parmesan, particularly tender, tasty and original. Definitely the best risotto I have ever eaten. Particularly generous plates.
The welcome is dynamic and friendly. After the meal, I complimented the chef, who kindly shared a secret with his admirer.
We didn't have reservations, the only places available were indoors. Then comes my only little criticism, inside, the tables are high and the chairs too. Very pretty and original, but... With age, the stiffness changes place, and I would have preferred a more classic table and chairs.
That said, it's perfect for a clientele of young professionals, and, from experience, it was not as uncomfortable as I thought.
We will come back when we pass through Avignon again.

Tout est fait maison et on le sent bien . Sans hésitation venez découvrir la Mijote !
