07/08/2026: A small very popular auberge. In summer booking required weeks in advance. Inexpensive. Food is excellent and portions enormous. It is not child friendly. Cash only. Service is rude if you are not french (even if you speak french)
02/08/2026: A small restaurant where time stands still, where you can enjoy authentic delicacies and local dishes cooked by two French ladies.
It's a small restaurant with limited seating, offering various options: from €26 (with a full main course), €27 (one course + dessert), and €42 (aperitif, appetizers, main course with side dish, cheeses, dessert, wine, bread, water, and coffee).
We chose the latter option—we enjoyed every course, even though it was difficult, at times impossible, to enjoy everything because we were so full! (Eat less for lunch if you plan on dining here!)
We had a wonderful time and felt pampered.
I would recommend reducing the portions and/or offering seconds only to those who ask for them, to avoid wasting food!

08/06/2026: We've been going there for years. But now there are no prices listed for drinks. I asked for a menu: "They don't exist." Which is illegal for any business. And a rip-off: €3 extra for the sauce on the ribeye steak, and €6 for an iced coffee... even in a coffee shop in town it's cheaper, water, coffee, ice, that's all... the owner just pulled the price out of thin air at the last minute while hesitating at the moment of payment... grrrrrrrr....

30/01/2026: Wood-fired pizza! Which is rare these days. The menu is quite extensive but not overwhelming, a sign of freshness, and the pizzas are thin and delicious. I highly recommend it.
30/01/2026: The wood-fired pizzas are excellent. They offer home delivery, or delivery to our workplace in our case. They arrived hot and on time, which is worth mentioning! Well done to them.

The servers are kind and attentive (a special shout-out to our superb server with his stunning style – keep him, he's a rare gem).

02/11/2025: A very good meal with a welcome gesture of goodwill, as one of the dishes chosen was not part of the daily special, yet it was ordered as such. Special mention goes to the excellent chocolate fondant.
24/09/2025: Extremely unfriendly. Before even sitting down, we were shouted at by an employee for parking our race bikes next to the (closed) terrace. We left immediately, so I can’t judge the food.

24/05/2026: This old hotel has retained its charm. However, it could use some restoration in certain areas (crooked stairs, faded paint in a few places, and worn carpets).
It would be nice to offer the following in the rooms: a USB port, a bottle of water in the suites, chocolates in the evening when guests turn down for the night, etc. Small details, but they make all the difference. We had no hot water one evening. After mentioning the problem to reception, no one called us back. We tested the water again later, and it was working. A call to let us know it was being repaired would have been appropriate.
The staff is efficient and dedicated. The hotel is very well located, and everything is within walking distance. The town is charming. I recommend this place.

23/05/2026: The service was friendly, the seating was lovely, but unfortunately, the food was not at all good value for money. There also seemed to be hygiene issues: three of us had the same fish appetizer and spent a considerable amount of time in the restroom the next day. When we complained about the quality of the meat on one of our plates, we were met with nothing but shrugs. We won't be back.
21/05/2026: A truly lovely and charming retreat with a very personal atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and multilingual, and the dinner was fantastic!

18/07/2026: The reviews that led to such a high rating are no longer valid. The owners have moved on to another restaurant; this one is for sale. The menu is very limited (I've attached it), with very few dishes or desserts. It's basic and therefore a bit expensive for what it is.
14/06/2026: Friendly atmosphere, prices for American or Parisian cuisine, or anything ending in "in". Tomato, mozzarella, gazpacho, a small bowl of hummus. Very, very basic at the price of a bistronomic restaurant—astronomical.

06/07/2026: We were a group of senior citizens visiting the Luberon, and we received a very warm welcome. We had lunch there two days in a row; the meals were excellent and the service was punctual. I highly recommend it to any group passing through Gordes.
