07/11/2025: Set menu of the day: starter, main course, dessert, 1/4 liter of wine and coffee for €20. No starter as it was out of stock, but the price remains the same! The couscous was plentiful but unremarkable.

01/03/2026: We had a wonderful time as a couple. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the staff, the presentation, and the meal. The Grandmothers' Day menu was excellent, from the fish casserole to the chicken supreme. Given the weather, we preferred to eat inside rather than on the terrace. A great place to remember.

30/01/2026: This is the restaurant we visited for lunch during our group tour. Thanks to the kindness of the female staff, we had a delicious meal. The beef stew was absolutely delicious! The restroom is to the right of the restaurant entrance.

27/02/2026: First and unfortunately last visit to the Grand Café de la Sorgue! We love the brasserie atmosphere and we weren't disappointed in that regard. The setting and location are very pleasant. The service is efficient, no complaints there. However, what a disappointment the chef's dishes were... The lamb navarin at €21 certainly tasted good, but half the pieces of meat were inedible due to fat and sinew! The fries accompanying the flank steak weren't homemade, which is a shame for such a reputable brasserie. In short, it wasn't worth the price.

26/02/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. The waitress we had should definitely change careers. The food was mediocre for the price. I absolutely do not recommend it; it's best to avoid it altogether.

22/11/2025: Came with a friend, staff are lovely, the nice man didnt speak English and I didnt speak French, but someone translated for me. We both ordered omlete and glass of rose. The service was really good, the staff were really friendly. The omlete was delicious and came with fresh chips. The price was very good also. Would recommend

27/10/2025: Service was pretty quick. Dish of the day was good. However, the tiramisu without biscuits, coffee or cocoa made me laugh...

07/02/2026: A very bad experience at this all-you-can-eat restaurant. Very limited choices, truly mediocre food quality, and dishes that seemed more like reheated food than freshly cooked. As for desserts, no more nougat, no more candy, no more ginger... practically nothing to offer. When it came time to pay, a nasty surprise: an extra 4 euros. Of course, no receipt. And to top it all off, the restaurant only accepts cash—no credit cards. What a shame... the previous owners were lovely, and the place had real character. Now, unfortunately, it's a place to avoid.

11/11/2025: Delicious! Friendly and kid-friendly atmosphere. Smiling and responsive staff. The portions were HUGE and DELICIOUS, with a lot of thought put into balancing the tastes and flavors. Starters, main courses, desserts—all top-notch! Even the KIDS Fish & Chips was very good, with REAL HOMEMADE fries!!!

29/10/2025: The starter was excellent, the main course very good, but I was disappointed by the dessert... in a €40 menu, it's a shame because the service was good and friendly, but the presentation of the dessert was lacking; a pile placed in the middle of the plate. It tasted good, but there was no presentation or decoration; we're still looking for the caramel! It's still a good restaurant nonetheless.

14/02/2026: I came to buy a coffee. I specified I wanted a lid, but they gave me an unsuitable cup. The staff asked me twice what I wanted because they didn't listen to my answer.

13/02/2026: They were selling products that were still frozen and inedible. I had to throw everything away and skip a meal.

16/02/2026: I was in town for work (Avignon Geek Expo) and ordered my lunch. The owner took my payment at noon, but I noticed my salmon bagels were missing. I called, and they told me to come back in the evening, except my event ended later... Of course, they were closed on Sundays, and they left a message on my answering machine telling me to pick them up on Monday... But I'm not from Avignon. No refund was offered; it's shameful.
