10/08/2026: A rip-off: overpriced hamburgers 🍔 with fries not even included. The service is appalling and extremely cold. Avoid at all costs. €17 for a hamburger and fries? You might as well go to a real pizzeria. A shame, because it's well located.

18/06/2026: Location is great. We only had a after dinner drink in the patio and service was slow. Room really nice but a little small. Receptionist very kind suggested restaurants around. Because of the narrow streets in the old town, we ended up scraping all the rims on our sports car. However, when we left, the parking attendant was extremely kind and helped guide us out of the old town.

12/06/2026: La Mirande is a gorgeous hotel with a perfect location in Avignon. When I first arrived I was given a room that was so incredibly beautiful it felt like the room of a queen. Unfortunately, there was a plumbing issue underneath my bathroom that precipitated me needing to be moved to another room. While the staff was incredibly courteous and attentive to me during this issue, the updated room I was moved to was much darker and had a musty smell - not quite as on par with the original room. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend the hotel. I had several lovely meals out on the garden terrace admiring the flowers and the view of the Pope's Palace. And I really cannot emphasize enough how excellent the staff were at every moment of my visit.

25/08/2026: The food is your usual McDonald's fare, but the service is the first time I've encountered such friendly and pleasant McDonald's staff. The restaurant is clean.

25/08/2026: Your burgers are already getting more and more expensive, so it would be nice if, when we pay extra for bacon, we actually got some in the burger. I always check that everything is in my order; now I have to open the burger to see if everything is there. It's a bit of a rip-off.

16/05/2026: Fantastic experience, we ate incredibly well. You can tell the food is prepared with professionalism and passion. We received a very warm welcome. The place is clean and inviting, and the prices are very reasonable. If you're hesitating, don't hesitate any longer, go for it! I wish this establishment and its owners continued success.

03/08/2026: A disappointing experience. The staff were unfriendly and the organization was poor. It was difficult to know where the queue started, which created confusion. Furthermore, the menus were poorly displayed, making it difficult to choose what to order. Better organization, clearer signage, and a warmer welcome would have been appreciated.

14/08/2026: For a quick stop for lunch en route this was fab. The staff were friendly and helpful. And spoke English (we tried our best French - not good). The tuna and rice dish was excellent and generous as was the steak. The pork was a little dry. But for classic French small town bar lunch it was great

04/08/2026: We arrived during the lunch rush, and the waiter did everything he could to get us served as quickly as possible. Quite an achievement, considering he was serving alone, just like the cook was alone in the kitchen. We waited a little while, but really not too long. And seeing that retiree talking like that to the waiter who was running around like crazy was just shameful. The food was very good. They even had a daily special that was incredibly fresh. In short, there aren't many restaurants in this village, and this one is a real winner.

19/03/2026: I have a soft spot for L’Alizée, right in the heart of Orange. This is a small, welcoming, and unpretentious restaurant where you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. Eric, the owner, is simply perfect: smiling, attentive, and always ready to chat—you immediately sense that here, people are at the heart of the experience. As for the food, it's a real treat: everything is homemade, with quality ingredients and generous portions. The value for money is excellent, making this place even more appealing. It's definitely a charming, authentic, and friendly eatery, just the way we like them. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm, almost familial. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a more leisurely meal, you'll always receive a warm welcome and leave with a smile. A wonderful place for those seeking good, authentic food, and above all, a human touch. I highly recommend it!

06/04/2026: Hotel by the roadside, rooms with very poor soundproofing. It feels like arriving at a ghost hotel. Perhaps it was too close to opening time?

30/03/2026: We ended up at this hotel late one night after our Airbnb fell through. They were lifesavers! The staff, room, beds, location were all wonderful. For my family at four it was great to have grocery stores right across the street. I have nothing negative to say about our stay! It was lovely.

26/06/2026: First visit since the change of ownership. A "hello" wasn't exactly customary at Françoise's, as everyone knew. It's a shame the two new young owners haven't brought this magic word back into fashion. Even when you arrive with your hands full. Is this a cursed place for saying hello with a smile? Otherwise, two of the three waitresses are smiling and friendly. Given the choice between two places serving coffee for €1.50, which do you think you'd go to? With or without a smile?

20/04/2026: By far my favorite café in Avignon! A very warm atmosphere, ideal for getting some work done, with delicious pastries of course ;) Update 4 years later: A landmark is closing… we'll miss you.

06/08/2026: Good chocolate croissants. Raspberry and apricot pastries, but unfortunately the service is lacking. Coffee served in a cardboard cup. Powdered sugar available at the register. Unhygienic as it's the payment area. Needs improvement. A good pastry shop should have proper service.

16/04/2026: Excellent bistro-restaurant. A warm welcome, a great atmosphere, clean, always a smile, very reasonable drink prices, and a lovely terrace. The set menus are also very good and excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
