15/05/2026: A family meal during our stay at Puy du Fou. Since all the restaurants were full, the reception staff recommended a few places. Mauritalia was one of them. We booked by phone, the staff was very welcoming, the service was excellent, we all ate very well, and the prices were very reasonable. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but it would be a shame not to stop by. All the best! 👋

24/05/2026: Superb restaurant where the food is always excellent. We went in 2017 and everything has been just as good ever since! The setting is magnificent with a view of the lake, and the staff is truly wonderful! We ate on the terrace in beautiful weather. Everything was perfect from start to finish!

23/01/2025: Very warm welcome, the servers are charming and smiling. Well decorated and intimate restaurant. We shared a fondue for 2 served with cold meats and salad. Everything was delicious. A little more salad to clear your conscience 😅 We recommend this address

18/05/2026: We booked by phone for dinner on a Saturday night: the owner was very direct and not very friendly. The dinner was good overall, but I think our starters weren't homemade (I don't know about the desserts since we didn't have any). The portions were adequate. However, don't order the decaf! I saw that it was just powder and hot water. And I didn't see a coffee machine in operation.

05/03/2026: A very attentive team with excellent service. We thank the new young owners for their warm welcome. A very pleasant stay with a good breakfast and a beautiful view overlooking Pouzauges. Just 10 minutes from Puy du Fou, this hotel will become a must-stop for our future trips! I highly recommend it!

10/02/2026: A belated review of my stay at this hotel, but a very positive one nonetheless! Located about twenty minutes from Puy du Fou, it's the perfect place to spend a pleasant evening and relax after a great day exploring the park. A very warm welcome from a young and dynamic team, an aperitif at the bar followed by a delicious meal in the restaurant where the food is homemade, and what can I say... the MAGNIFICENT PANORAMIC VIEW with its breathtaking panorama of Pouzauges and its sunset!!! I don't have an opinion on the room, but I slept very well. Next time, I'll definitely be back! 👌

04/05/2026: Excellent place! From the very professional and friendly welcome to the quality of the homemade brasserie dishes, everything was perfect. The desserts were delicious, and the appetizer buffet looked appetizer-like. The restaurant is easy to find, opposite the church, and has very convenient parking. Well worth a visit!

15/04/2026: Just like home! The welcome was fantastic, you can tell the team loves what they do. The meal was generous and delicious. One small point: the decor could be improved (a little refresh and everything would be perfect). I'll be back because, on top of everything else, the service was quick despite being busy. 30/05/2026: Very good pizzas, whether eaten in or taken away. Friendly staff. Thin crust pizza. I love the option to mix and match the pizza with two different toppings.

12/04/2026: Two friends introduced us to this restaurant on Saturday evening, and we have to admit we haven't been so pleasantly surprised in a long time! Lately, restaurants have often been overpriced with drastically reduced portions, or with sometimes complicated service. Here, for four people, a three-course meal (starter, main, dessert) with aperitifs, a bottle of wine, and a digestif/hot drink at the end cost €40 per person, with generous portions, quality ingredients, and a friendly atmosphere. It's a good thing it's not near our home, otherwise we'd be there all the time! We'll definitely be back with friends.
