25/02/2026: This is our second year coming to Notre-Dame-de-Monts, and L’Odyssée has become our true pilgrimage site! Whether it's for lunch, an early evening drink, or dinner, you'll always be greeted with a smile and a wonderfully cheerful atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, the food is homemade, and you can try the entire menu without any unpleasant surprises. A bonus: a very well-equipped play area for children, which is truly appreciated! We highly recommend it… and we will gladly return on our next visit. See you soon! 😁

We hadn't been before, but the welcome was very warm, and the meal was excellent 👌 We'll definitely be back 👍 The only slight downside was that the main courses arrived with the aperitif, but honestly, I could have mentioned it beforehand, and it didn't spoil our meal at all. 22/12/2025: Several years later, the service is still just as friendly and the crêpes delicious. The galettes are excellent, which is quite rare, but it's true here. The service is very friendly and attentive to children. The homemade cider is delicious.

11/03/2026: What a wonderful discovery! We came in just for a coffee, but when we saw the menu, we simply had to stay for dinner. The food and service were very British, which is perfect for us, as we love England so much 😍. We enjoyed homemade fish and chips, a marvelous avocado and salmon tartine, followed by a delicious Irish coffee just like you'd get there. We didn't have room for a homemade cheesecake, but the different flavors looked very tempting. We'll definitely be back in Vouvant just for this coffee.

09/03/2026: Hello, I've been waiting for a miracle since the afternoon of March 8th, 2026. We went into this café hoping to get something to eat and have a tea, basically to have a drink. We sat inside for 25 minutes, facing the counter, in full view of the waitresses and the owner. No one came to see us; they ignored us. One of the waitresses or the manager was chatting quietly in the doorway during this time. Four people arrived after us but were served before us; this is totally unacceptable. Do you have to be English to expect to see you do your job properly? I am disappointed with your service; you are not the only one in Vouvant, as evidenced by our tired wait for you to deign to take our order. We went to see your competitors, and there you have it: fast service, a warm welcome—in short, what Café des Miracles lacks. It's all the customers who make you exist, even the occasional ones. A negative experience, a shame, as Vouvant is a lovely setting. Have a good day.

28/01/2026: Disappointing. We've been to this restaurant several times before, but this time we were let down! The staff were friendly but a bit overwhelmed… We had to wait for our cocktails (they're made on the ground floor). What a strange idea! In that case, they should make them quickly! As a result, our main courses arrived just minutes after our drinks, barely after we'd started. A cocktail is meant to be savored. Not great. The hanger steak we ordered medium-rare was slightly overcooked, and there wasn't even a single vegetable. They didn't offer tarte tatin. The crème brûlée was very small. A friend was supposed to have a birthday candle on her cake… which was forgotten! They did, however, offer us a coffee (a nice little gesture).
