I recommend.
15/01/2025: Without doubt one of the best restaurants for couscous or tagine in the department, or even in the region. The welcome may be familiar. Choose a good table because the room is small and you can easily find yourself in the passage. It's easy to ask for a "doggy bag" because the proportions are generous. Reservation recommended.

16/03/2026: I had a sea bass fillet with beurre blanc sauce, baby vegetables, and risotto. It was absolutely delicious!
My partner couldn't decide between two sauces for his meat... he got both! And the fillet was tender and perfectly cooked.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was quick, but it wasn't very busy. It's off-season.
For dessert, the profiteroles (which we often order at restaurants) were delicious.

04/02/2026: From the moment you step inside, you're captivated by the charm of this 16th-century building with its magnificent stonework and beams. I savored a perfectly crispy and generously filled buckwheat galette, accompanied by service that was as friendly as it was efficient. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic; this is a must-visit in Les Herbiers, and be sure to book in advance.

The problem... the owner, whistling loudly throughout the restaurant, like a stable boy.
His language is childish and informal.
It's awful.

21/03/2026: This is the second year in a row we've returned to this bar-restaurant and we're never disappointed. The welcome is always warm, with friendly, smiling, and attentive servers. The food lives up to our expectations, always satisfying. And of course, it's impossible not to mention the breathtaking sea view, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
13/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, very welcoming, lovely and attentive staff. I live in Les Sables-d'Olonne and this is my third visit, and I'm always just as satisfied. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

28/03/2026: A mixed experience. The food was excellent: the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. A huge thank you to the waitresses who remained professional, smiling, and efficient despite what appears to be a very harsh management style. It's regrettable to see the manager speak so rudely to her staff in front of customers; this creates tension that somewhat spoils the experience.

08/03/2026: A charming little restaurant with affordable prices, reminiscent of Asian restaurants before the mass arrival of all-you-can-eat buffets. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, with tasty dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Cambodian-style bobun, which differs from Vietnamese, and the freshly fried chicken fritters in imperial sauce.
19/02/2026: The atmosphere is in the expected Chinese style.
The food is excellent, with pronounced flavors and fresh ingredients.
The day we went, it was busy, but the service was top-notch.
One minor complaint, and this is just my personal opinion: I like chili paste, and they didn't have any (as is unfortunately the case in most places in the Vendée region).
Suggestion: offer nam prik pao or sambal oelek. I know it's not Chinese...

31/10/2025: Simple and friendly, no airs. Good, straightforward food with a pretty good price-quality ratio. Having been there in the summer as well, the terrace is a real bonus during peak season.

08/03/2026: Magnificent restaurant, top-notch service, excellent, generously portioned dishes, cooked to perfection as requested. My stepson, who is very picky, absolutely loved it, so I highly recommend it! Just one small minor point, nothing serious: the air conditioning could be turned down as it was too strong for my liking, but really, it's a small thing. Congratulations again to the establishment for this wonderful restaurant; don't change a thing!
