01/05/2026: I wanted to share my experience at this restaurant in Marly-le-Roi. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by the quality of the food, which was clearly lacking. So much so that we didn't even finish part of our desserts, which speaks volumes. For three people, the bill came to €158, a price that seems completely unjustified given the quality offered. The contrast was all the more striking because the next day, we had lunch at a restaurant near Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, where we paid €132 for three people, with a significantly higher quality of food and service. We therefore regret this experience and feel that the value for money is very poor.

The chef clearly prioritizes flavor and ingredient quality, bringing freshness and subtle innovation to traditional dishes without overcomplicating them or losing the comforting, home-style feeling you expect from a true cottage-style restaurant. The dining rooms are intimate without feeling cramped, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. My only small wish would be a broader selection of wine by the glass, though I understand how challenging that can be for a smaller restaurant without creating waste. A carafe or “half bottle” option could be a nice middle ground, but this is a minor and very personal note. Overall, Le Cottage is our favorite restaurant in the area. It is consistently delicious, cozy, and exactly the kind of place you want to return to again and again. ⸻ French Le Cottage is a charming address that offers classic French cuisine, executed with great care and precision. You can tell the chef emphasizes the taste and quality of the ingredients, bringing freshness and a touch of modernity to traditional dishes without ever going overboard or sacrificing the comforting, warm atmosphere of home cooking. The different dining rooms are intimate without being cramped, creating a very pleasant and convivial ambiance. My only small wish would be a slightly wider selection of wines by the glass, although I completely understand that this can be difficult for a restaurant of this size without incurring losses. A carafe or half-bottle option could be a good compromise, but that remains a very personal preference. In any case, Le Cottage is our favorite restaurant in the area. It's a sure bet, always delicious, cozy, and a place we want to return to regularly.

22/03/2026: When you're with friends, you quickly forget about the restaurant service, because the relaxed atmosphere makes you think about other things. Restaurant owners know this well. The menu is quite good in terms of choice. But there were some oversights. No carafe of water, which should be provided automatically (even if we didn't have children, it's mandatory in France). Likewise, no bread basket. I had to ask three times for a drink (my neighbor to the left) that was supposed to accompany a dish (the drink I ordered arrived almost at the end of the meal) 😕. My dish didn't arrive at the same time as everyone else's (this isn't a big deal), but more importantly, it was cold inside (we know the process of reheating a cold dish in the microwave, as we sometimes do at home 😉). The waiter was good, and thankfully, that made up for these minor inconveniences. We were poorly seated in the dining room, right next to the entrance. Despite the airlock, I had to close the door twice because the cold air was coming in. There was a rather large (old) cobweb on the ceiling in the restroom. We would still come back, and certainly, because you can only improve by asking for customer feedback to be more attentive next time. Even in restaurants with only four seats, there are hiccups. Pizza del Arte lives up to its status as a second-category restaurant. Well done, because it's a great alternative for non-gastronomic meals. That's what we came for. Great team in Chambourcy.

21/10/2025: A little pricey for frozen food. But the chocolate mousse is a marvel of dark chocolate. It's flavorful, firm and airy, and definitely tastes like it's lacking. On its own, it's worth 5 stars. The service is friendly, smiling, a little hesitant, but efficient. But only those who order a starter get the bread basket, which is a shame.

25/04/2026: The sushi, sashimi, and maki are decent: regarding the sushi, the salmon slices are too thin for my liking; I would have preferred them thicker. Otherwise, the bento boxes are fantastic; I order them often.

17/04/2026: A quality restaurant that will undoubtedly surprise you with the many flavors offered by its delicious dishes. The more I go, the more I love this restaurant. I've never been disappointed when ordering one of their dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive to customers' needs. I introduced it to my family, and they all enjoyed the Okinawan cuisine. Moreover, the dishes are as flavorful as they are generous. However, the desserts aren't quite as good as the main courses.

13/03/2026: Beware! Double-check your bill! We came as a group of seven for lunch today, and the waiter tried to rip us off! He started charging us without showing us the bill and claimed he couldn't print it. Prices were inflated, a set menu was added, and items were wrongly charged!! Luckily, we realized what was happening! The waiter tried to scam us until the very end and was incredibly dishonest! We were extremely disappointed and will never return!!!! A thief! It's a shame because we had a good time, and the food is good. But you shouldn't take customers for fools….
