The appetizers are superb (pastillas, tchoutchouka), there's an excellent selection of couscous and tagines made with quality ingredients, and if you have room for dessert, you'll find something to your liking. Whether you eat in (reservations are recommended), take away, or order delivery, you won't be disappointed. The service is also very pleasant, and they have a good selection of Moroccan wines.

There aren't many restaurants like this around here, so they're gems that must be preserved at all costs. We know where to go with our thirty-something kids next time we're in the area. 09/04/2026: Frankly, this is the last time I'll order from here. The service was appalling: no hello, no thank you, no goodbye—you clearly feel like you're bothering them. When you run a business, the foundation is customer service; evidently, this place has never learned that. I order every two weeks, spending over €80, but nothing changes. Last time I ordered delivery, the sauces I'd paid for were forgotten. As a result, I had to make a 40-minute round trip to pick them up, and they even tried to charge me for them again when I arrived! Utterly absurd. These two stars are for the chef, because what he makes is very good, which is why I keep coming back, but frankly, without a minimum of respect for customers, it's not worth it. Two stars only for the food; everything else needs a complete overhaul. Each time I gave it one last chance, and I came back today, this was the last one.

02/04/2026: Absolutely unacceptable. We called this evening at 9:36 PM to place a delivery order. The person on the phone coldly informed us that deliveries end at 9:30 PM. So far, nothing unusual; delivery hours are delivery hours. But when I politely asked if it might be possible to find a solution (even picking up the order in person), the person simply hung up on me. No sense of customer service. No politeness. No respect for the customer. For a business, this behavior is outrageous. We were good, regular customers, but clearly loyalty has no value here. The worst part? The Japanese restaurant in the next town accepted our delivery order a few minutes later, with kindness and professionalism. It just goes to show that when you want to do things properly with your customers, it's possible. Hanging up on a customer who simply asks if there's an alternative is a complete lack of professionalism and respect. If this is how you treat your customers, don't be surprised if people go elsewhere. **Terrible experience. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

30/04/2026: Fourth time at La Licorne. The food is always very good, but this time I was very disappointed by my starter, advertised as "asparagus and shrimp medley." First, the presentation: served in a basic, rather unattractive bowl instead of a plate, and then the contents, disappointing: small pieces of cut white asparagus, without the tips, peeled mini shrimp, and cherry tomatoes in a bland sauce. It's understandable that this would have been even less presentable on a plate. In short: a poor innovation, not up to the standard of the other starters on offer. You can't get it right every time! The main course was flawless.

28/04/2026: We were very disappointed with our meal this evening… sea bream fillet swimming in a tasteless sauce… chocolate mille-feuille… a bit cloying, but the raspberries were good… all the dishes are the same price, whether it's the guinea fowl or the beef fillet… The bill we were presented with was “slightly” inflated… a bottle of wine was added to the bill… so we'll remain vigilant… we came as a “scouting” group, planning to return with eight people in the coming weeks… that plan is definitely off the table… what a shame, it used to be a good place… before!

18/05/2026: We discovered this hotel by chance with a last-minute booking. I have rarely experienced such high-quality service from every single staff member we encountered, which shows it's a deliberate policy of the establishment. We were stuck on the highway, arriving at 10 PM instead of 8:30 PM; we were expecting a quick room service, but the kitchen staff offered, without us even asking, to welcome us to the restaurant where we enjoyed a very fine dinner served by a kind and charming head waiter. The very green setting near the forest is lovely and offers a real change of scenery. The room was very comfortable and unique. Note: if you type "hotel cazaudehore" into Waze, it will take you to the center of Saint-Germain-en-Laye; you should type in the address or just "cazaudehore".

10/05/2026: This hotel is wonderful. Whether in the hotel or the restaurant, all the staff were very efficient and responsive, and we truly felt their hospitality. We were able to completely relax. The restaurant also had a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the wine service: after the first glass was poured by the staff, we had to refill our own glasses because the servers seemed very busy. With an additional person in the dining room, this kind of small detail would undoubtedly have been better handled, and the experience would have been even more enjoyable.

09/04/2026: A charming family-run restaurant, nestled on the edge of the forest, offers a unique setting. The food is delicious and impeccably fresh. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The spacious dining room is tastefully and carefully decorated. The restrooms, also spacious, are spotlessly clean. The walls are adorned with intricate Lego constructions, assembled by hand by children. There's even a princess castle worthy of a fairy tale. Both young and old will be amazed. I highly recommend this welcoming restaurant. Despite its distance from public transport, it will undoubtedly become your favorite restaurant, the one you'll want to return to.
