18/03/2026: Too Good To Go offers fall short in terms of quantity and price compared to competitors who offer twice as much, which is a shame... Especially since the pickup time is very late. Going out of town for a €7 starter/main course at 11 pm isn't worth the trip.

15/03/2026: This Volontaire restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting sushi, maki, and California rolls of this quality in this setting. It was even better than many Asian restaurants that aren't Volontaires. The staff is friendly, and the selection, while limited, includes the essentials you'd expect. The overall quality of the appetizers and main courses was good, although the dessert selection was a bit lacking, but that wasn't surprising. Honestly, I really enjoyed myself!

17/03/2026: I went to the restaurant for lunch and frankly, a three-course meal for €16.90 is unbeatable! The dishes were delicious and generous; I had trouble finishing them, but the taste was definitely there. The owners are welcoming with a lovely Portuguese accent that warms the heart. In short, I highly recommend it and will gladly return. I had tripe à la porto and my friend had pork cheek—a real treat!

22/03/2026: This is our second visit and it's truly delicious, beautifully presented dishes. Exquisite and flavorful from appetizer to dessert. A warm welcome. A cozy atmosphere. We'll be back when the terrace is open. Kudos to the chefs!

15/03/2026: The dining room was very pleasant and quiet, even though all the tables were occupied. The service was friendly and attentive. As for the food, some dishes were delicious (cromesqui, sea bream, veal sweetbreads, marbled terrine), while others were less impressive (foie gras, pollack, yogurt mousse). The dishes were beautifully presented with a lot of flavor, though sometimes the yogurt mousse had a slightly unusual salty note. The price was a bit high, especially the price of the wine glasses. In short, it was a lovely experience.

16/03/2026: I am completely baffled by the loss of this well-deserved star. I'm not a food critic, but for me, everything was perfect, as usual, dare I say. We came to support the chef and his team during this difficult time and to enjoy the new menus, and we were not disappointed. A feast for the eyes and the palate awaited us. We will continue to come without hesitation, and I'm sure we'll celebrate the regained star next year.

Every moment was a journey for the senses: exceptionally refined dishes, flavors that intertwined with incredible subtlety, and attentive, high-quality service. We left with hearts full of memories and an irresistible desire to return. A huge thank you to the entire team for this magical evening.

10/03/2026: A very good restaurant with excellent food and very friendly service. They automatically bring you two loaves of bread and two carafes of water. It's right off the highway and definitely worth the short detour.

14/03/2026: On March 13th, we had dinner with our daughter and son-in-law at Caffe Mretti in Plaisir. We had a wonderful evening enjoying an excellent meal served with class and good humor by Guillaume. The food is very good. I recommend the crispy pork. Our waiter, Guillaume, was very attentive and friendly. A great restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

14/03/2026: The staff were very welcoming. I tried various dishes, from burgers to fish and beef, and I have no complaints about the quality of the food. The prices are reasonable. No need to book on weeknights. It can be difficult to find parking nearby because of the train station right across the street. Parking spaces in the surrounding area are limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes, which gives you plenty of time to eat without rushing.

22/03/2026: A very good restaurant in the heart of Maule We had a lovely time at Le Cardinal. The cuisine is refined, the dishes are beautifully presented, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. It's undoubtedly one of the best places in the area for a delicious meal. The welcome is warm and the setting is pleasant, ideal for a quiet dinner. However, the prices are a bit high.

16/03/2026: What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! The setting is superb, the tables are spaced far apart, allowing you to chat without overhearing your neighbor's conversation. The dishes are delicious and generous. My grandchildren ordered burgers and they were delighted, both visually and in terms of taste. The homemade desserts are excellent (tiramisu and a perfectly gooey chocolate fondant). We were celebrating a birthday, and the owner, without saying a word, placed a small candle on the dessert (a very thoughtful touch). I highly recommend it. We will definitely return to try the terrace in the summer.

The service was pleasant and perfectly paced. The attentive, caring, and responsive staff made your evening truly special. The owner, friendly, helpful, and full of excellent advice, added a personal touch that created a welcoming, homey atmosphere. That evening, the restaurant was packed with families, groups, children, dogs, and even couples... all these different groups blended together perfectly thanks to excellent organization and a flawlessly orchestrated layout.
