If you're attentive to customer feedback, you should reread this one, as it concerns the mashed potatoes served instead of aligot and, above all, the disdain of the manager present (I don't know if it was you), who seemed more concerned about us having paid the bill than about engaging in conversation. This explains the 2-star/5 rating. Have a good evening.

25/06/2025: The location is lovely—relaxed atmosphere and a nice setting to sit and enjoy. Before visiting, we looked up the menu online and found a selection of five dishes, which seemed promising. However, when we arrived, it turned out the menu had changed due to new owners, and we were only given a choice between three dishes, and two salads. That was a bit of a letdown, especially since we had different expectations based on what we saw online. The food itself was decent—nothing spectacular, but well-prepared. A positive point is that the staff made an effort to speak English, which we appreciated. Still, overall it felt limited and not quite worth the visit based on the current offering.

23/06/2025: Tonight, dinner on the banks of the Lot, pleasant setting, really very good, 1 different meal for each of us, everyone enjoyed their dish, the waiter was friendly and attentive to our requests, the "chef" came to see us, the service is fast 👍, I recommend, remember to book 👏

D'une gentillesse remarquable et toujours avec un grand sourire. Ca fait plaisir car pas toujours le cas dans d'autres restaurants du python. En cuisine, le Chef Gregory (le patron) lui aussi d'une grande gentillesse et d'un grand professionnalisme va vous faire régaler, savourez les papilles avec des mets savoureux , des produits frais, du marché et de produits locaux et le tout dans des assiettes ou ardoises très soignées et bien dressées. A chaque visite, c'est toujours un regal , un moment merveilleux passé dans ce restaurant. Bravo au Chef Gregory et à son épouse Dorothee. Un petit conseil : Pensez à réserver..

08/10/2024: The hotel is run by a very nice finnish couple. They were very friendly and you can tell that they run their hotel with passion. Also they have a cosy Restaurant where they serve finnish home cookes specialities. Very tasty! Also try the dessert. Highly recomendable! We will stay here again one day. Thank you.

07/07/2025: We spent two days at Gaëlle and Hervé's establishment, located next to a magnificent, well-equipped lake. We had planned a weekend with our four children, their partners, and our grandchildren to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Our goal was to spend time together as a family, away from it all, enjoying a beautiful setting and eating local produce. Gaëlle went the extra mile to meet our expectations, down to the smallest detail. At Les Berges de Parelou, we found everything we hoped for and even more. Sleeping in large, clean, quiet rooms with beautiful bathrooms and good-quality bedding already ticked several important boxes for our stay, but Gaëlle and her husband make all the difference compared to many other good-value establishments. The swimming pool and large games room are among the highlights of this place. The managers of this business are not only professional, but they are also kind, caring, and truly very friendly. Hervé's mother continues to work behind the bar, much to our delight, and I hope they keep their young waitress for a long time, as she is a real asset in the dining room. If you come visit them, you will, like us, enjoy excellent local produce and succulent desserts prepared with passion and generosity by Hervé. Gaëlle is a woman who devotes herself selflessly to her business. You will find her at reception, in service, and in accounting, of course, but also in the kitchen when necessary, or making beds to help her young assistant. Despite their fatigue, everyone keeps smiling so that you can spend a moment without thinking about tomorrow...
