20/05/2026: We spent three nights at the Château de Courban & Spa Nuxe during the Easter holidays, and our stay was a truly magical escape. The place is magnificent, full of charm, and incredibly peaceful. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a family stay with a young child. But what impressed us most was the warm welcome and the kindness of the staff. The entire team was absolutely wonderful with our child, always attentive, caring, and attentive to his every need. We also dined at the hotel's gourmet restaurant, and it was a delightful surprise: an absolutely delicious, refined, and perfectly executed dinner. A truly wonderful culinary experience that greatly contributed to making our stay even more special. Between the setting, the tranquility, the comfort, the quality of service, and the outstanding cuisine, we had a truly memorable stay. A huge thank you to the entire team—we will gladly return.

23/02/2026: We enjoyed a stay in an idyllic setting, steeped in history and with undeniable potential. The property is old and very beautiful, but would benefit from better maintenance: some elements unfortunately give an impression of being outdated, particularly the grounds which seem neglected during the winter months. The room, although clean and equipped with quality bedding, is rather small for an establishment of this standard. We were also surprised by the lack of a minibar and by the in-room amenities, which were not up to 4-star standards, especially considering the price of €315 per night including breakfast, which we found high (plastic water bottle, no welcome biscuits, bleach-stained carpet). The welcome was mixed: while Patricia at reception was particularly friendly and professional, we were disappointed by the lack of staff for about 15 minutes upon our arrival, even though our booking was known (spa reservation at 3 pm). Conversely, the owner was particularly unwelcoming, even unpleasant. The spa, however, deserves special mention: Karen literally saved the experience. The treatment was a magical moment, delivered with great professionalism, at a very reasonable price. She is a real asset to the establishment and fully deserves to be recognized. The lovely bathroom and the breakfast, featuring homemade products, are also strong points. We didn't try the restaurant, but the dining room is exceptional and definitely makes you want to return to experience its cuisine. In short, a place with undeniable charm and a strong character, boasting wonderful human qualities, which would nevertheless benefit from improving certain service and maintenance standards to fully live up to its ambitions and its rating.

06/12/2025: Dinner on the 29th, Saturday evening. No complaints about the food, but the service left much to be desired… A shame.

16/10/2025: We started our bikepacking tour here. Very friendly service, great room. We felt welcome. The dinner could have been better. Breakfast was excellent. The location and the house itself are truly beautiful. We would come back anytime.

29/08/2024: Nous avons pris le menu bourguignon, nous nous sommes régalés. Le personnel est sympathique et souriant. Je recommande ce restaurant si vous passez faire escale à Beaune.

26/08/2024: nous y avons diné deux fois étant clients du château hôtel du domaine. Cadre très sympa, calme, on peut se parler, service efficace et décontracté, bonne table, bon rapport qualité prix- a recommander surtout le soir de son arrivée

21/08/2024: Nous avons choisi ce brunch par rapport à la notoriété de l'endroit. Nous avons été déçus par les plats proposés. Entrées :Carottes râpées dans un saladier, avec bol de vinaigrette à part. Taboulé. Salade de pommes de terre. Tomates /mozza. Pâté en croûte. Rosbeef froid. Croissant et pain chocolat. Céréales. Plats chauds : Rosbeef. Sèche ou calamar ? (rien n'était écrit donc on ne sait pas forcément) Pommes de terre et courgettes (vapeur ?) Fromages : 1 morbier, 1 chèvre,1 brie. Desserts: gâteau chocolat. 3 autres choix mais nous n'avons pas reconnu car rien n'était indiqué. Pas de carte des vins (seulement feuille A4 pliée en 2 et imprimée avec les boissons). Pour etre habitués à faire des brunchs dans la région pour le même budget, nous avons été vraiment déçus de ce brunch qui est plus digne d'un restau de galerie commerciale que d'un établissement de ce rang. Dommage car l'endroit est très joli.

09/07/2025: The meal was appalling. We ordered one slow-cooked lamb shank. It had no flavor, wasn't slow-cooked at all, and was swimming in a sauce that was 80% water. (€21 for a plate we only tasted). No one offered to change it. The owner didn't even bother to come over and apologize. He did offer us coffee. Luckily, the waitress was very friendly! Thank you to her for her professionalism!

25/10/2024: Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Das Menu de Jour war bei uns Zwiebelsuppe, Boeuf Bourgignon und Cremé Brulee. Alles sehr lecker. Wir hatten dazu einen Wein aus der Region, der Chancen hat, Lieblingswein zu werden. Der Service war einwandfrei, sehr schnell, sehr freundlich. Wir werden unbedingt wieder dort einkehren bei unserem nächsten Stopp in Beaune.

20/10/2024: Nous avons été très bien accueillis, vers 14h. Un serveur attentionné, un échange de garniture du plat principal accepté avec facilité, un plat du jour copieux, une cuisson parfaite. Un café gourmand généreux. Franchement un agréable déjeuner sur une journée de visite de la ville, nous sommes repartis satisfaits 😊

27/08/2024: Very customer unfriendly hotel! Wrong dates booked by mistake, found out on arrival. The receptionist did not want to help us, we were there with 3 children, 1 of whom was very ill. She completely ignored us and wouldn't rebook. We had to rebook and they did not want to reimburse the amount we already paid for the incorrect booking! Delicious because we actually booked again! She didn't want to call her manager because she didn't think it was necessary because that was the way it was and nothing else! Paid almost 600 euros for a disgusting room. My husband was even covered in bites the next day... This hotel deliberately targets people because apparently we are not the only ones... strange! Very customer unfriendly and certainly not worth the money!

Lots of little attention and very responsive by email, she also constantly showed pro-activity 😊 We recommend this hotel ++ and will come back very soon!
