23/06/2026: Wonderful welcome from our hosts and excellent friendly hospitality throughout our 7 night stay. Lovely people. Our room a Superior Studio upstairs overlooking the pool was spotless, spacious and very well appointed. Excellent shower and nice to have the kitchen area with a full size fridge. Outside our room we had a spacious private terrace with table and chairs etc. The restaurant service is very friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. Because we were there for 7 nights, Christophe cooked for us "off menu". Something we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it as a brilliant base for exploring the area. A big thank you to Marina, Christophe and the team!

15/09/2026: If you want a really special and truly French experience, make sure you add La Clairière to your list! The menu choices are always superb, the service is second to none as you are served by the owner herself who has a clear passion for her art of running a superb restaurant. We always bring friends who visit as there is something very special about the delicious food, the excellent wine list, the selection of dishes and the cheeseboard, which is second to none. The extremely friendly owner even describes each cheese and it's flavour to help you choose! We make sure to fit in a visit every time we are in the area and you will not regret your wonderful experience here. Thank you to the worldnderful owners for an amazing experience every time. The restaurant is also fully wheelchair accessible throughout from car park to restaurant with an accessible lavatory - thank you so much!

09/08/2026: Restaurant in a quiet little village. The welcome is very warm, the cuisine excellent, full of flavor and made with fresh, homemade ingredients. A high level of professionalism at every level. The owner has an excellent knowledge of the dishes, cheeses, and wines. A true delight and pure bliss. We recommend it 100%.

08/06/2026: This place is the best restaurant I've ever been to. I don't know about the rooms in this review, but from Paris, one can't help but wonder about the quality of French cuisine served in the capital... The outdoor setting was magnificent; we were protected from wasps attracted by the sweetness and delicious aromas. The Périgord quality, traditional to this region, should be a French example. I remember the amuse-bouches being exceptional, the foie gras delicious, and the main course delicious and generous, especially since we had a "surprise" apricot tart... I would go back every year if I could. I plan to return this year, alone or with friends... we'll see. But the Dordogne is the pinnacle of French gastronomy, and it's home-style cooking. The cuisine is rich, complete, nutritious, and delicious. Thank you for this memory, which is making me want to eat "home-style" food even from Paris. Gabriel

17/07/2026: What a superb experience at Yannick and Laurence's! Here, you'll find the true Périgord region, both on the plate and in the warm hospitality of the hosts. We had a fabulous evening in a bucolic setting surrounded by nature and animals. My only question is: why didn't we come sooner? We will definitely be back! The setting is superb, the room comfortable (good bedding), the breakfast plentiful and varied, the half-board excellent (different dishes are offered every day, all very good and generous; the price of half-board is very reasonable considering the quantity and quality). And the staff are very pleasant. A fond memory of the Dordogne.

22/08/2026: Beautiful setting, but poor soundproofing The location is very pleasant, nestled in lush greenery, ideal for unwinding. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfectly clean. The major drawback is the noise level: the soundproofing is poor, doors slam constantly, and the air conditioning is very noisy. Absolutely avoid the rooms at the top of the stairs, unless you want to endure constant noise between 7 and 9 a.m. As for meals, breakfast is very basic (industrial pastries, average cold cuts). However, the hotel restaurant more than makes up for this by offering high-quality gourmet dishes. A place with a superb setting and excellent cuisine, but marred by the noise.
