02/05/2026: Excellent dish! Unfortunately, I'm giving it 4 stars because there's very little space, and you're practically sitting next to other customers when you're in the dining area! But everything else was very good!

13/04/2026: We come from time to time and are never disappointed! The atmosphere is refined and chic, and the staff is pleasant and professional. On sunny days, the restaurant offers a lovely hidden terrace in the inner courtyard. An Italian menu just the way we like it, accompanied by a fine selection of wines that pair perfectly with the delicious cuisine. A wonderful place in old Périgueux, a stone's throw from the basilica.

13/04/2026: Best fishing and chips in France, highly recommended. Reservations are absolutely necessary because everyone knows their way to this cozy place with its friendly owners. Very affordable.

19/05/2026: Wow what a find. Being early diners in France is not an easy thing but we wandered into this beautiful little restaurant. We honed in on the 3 course menu for 29€ and made our choices. Service was exemplary and we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. I had a petit salad with chicken intestines which I have to say was one of the most delicious dishes I've tasted for awhile. The fillet of fish with a beautiful vegetable sauce was also just as delicious. I finished off with the traditional dessert and was completely satisfied by the end. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its food, service and atmosphere.

17/05/2026: An almost unbeatable value for money: homemade fries, a huge burger with homemade bread and a small salad to top it all off, you leave with a full stomach and for a very reasonable price!

04/06/2026: We visited the hotel in September 2025 with a small dog, to enjoy some drinks on the terrace outside the restaurant. We were welcomed and the service was great. We invited some friends to join us in June 2026 and were told that ‘the hotel only allows one dog on the hotel premises at any time and since there was already a dog’, we could not be served. Disappointing.

There was no need to repeat our request; the appointment was kept, and the dishes ordered were delicious, according to the many guests. So, it goes without saying that I recommend this professional. Thank you, Mr. Beylot, you helped make this special moment unforgettable.

20/05/2026: We were a group of motorcyclists who received a very warm welcome. Laetitia and Eric shared their passion for truffles with us. During our stay, we were able to sample various specialties and a delightful array of desserts, lovingly and passionately prepared to tantalize our taste buds. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, ensuring restful nights in the peaceful Périgord countryside. The presentation and tour of the truffle orchard were very informative and answered all our questions. A truly immersive stay at a very welcoming, informative, and delicious guesthouse. 16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery :-) During our stay in the Périgord region, we stopped at the Mérigots truffle farm. A truly great experience!! A lovely presentation of the estate and the truffle-growing profession. Followed by a superb truffle tasting experience at lunchtime.

19/05/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit! We absolutely loved it! From the superb meal to the exceptionally warm welcome, everything was perfect. The value for money is outstanding, and the grocery section (special mention for the Lambert foie gras) is a real treat!

14/04/2026: Came here for my birthday last night, I went for the bolognese and partner went for the steak and chips. Food was lovely, service was fantastic and the cost was more than reasonable. Had to pop back the day after as I lost my phone, turns out I had left it there, they’d even charged it for me. Would definitely visit again!

One person trying to do everything So, 4 hours for a simple meal A crowded dining room full of complaining customers and an unpleasant man This isn't what you expect from this kind of place Plus, a fruit juice for my daughter cost €9! When we asked him, "That's the price!"

09/05/2026: We had dinner there last night on the terrace. The setting is charming and pleasant. The set menu was €48 for a starter, main course, and dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The ingredients were fresh, expertly prepared, and perfectly seasoned. The chef, who also manages the service, is a true culinary artist who loves what he does and what he offers. A truly delightful experience for the taste buds.
