08/08/2026: L'Estela sits proudly on a quiet square, a very pleasant setting for a relaxing meal. We dined there twice and were thoroughly entertained. The menu offered delicious, high-quality dishes and a wide variety of choices. There's also a lovely wine selection to satisfy those looking to explore local and international wines. The owners' kindness is truly remarkable. It was a real pleasure chatting with them and seeing the passion they put into their work.

The welcome in the dining room is warm, and the gentleman has a kind and attentive word for everyone. An excellent evening and truly a restaurant to recommend to anyone who wants to treat themselves. Oh yes, of course, the wine list... We took the gentleman's advice, and it contributed to the success of this excellent meal.

05/08/2026: A truly wonderful place, the menu is superb and the portions are generous! The only slight drawback was the relatively long wait… so don't plan anything too close to the start of service. But the main thing is there: top-notch food and very friendly waiters/waitresses!

04/08/2026: Unacceptable! Accompanied by elderly and sensitive individuals, we asked if the restaurant was air-conditioned. We were told yes and confirmed our reservation for eight people. We arrived two hours before our dinner to confirm our request. Upon arrival, we were seated at another table. We were kept warm and treated with disdain. The waitress was aware that we were with a sensitive person. We discovered at the end of our meal that there was an air-conditioned room. It was only a third full. Unacceptable. My advice: develop a conscience or find another line of work.

02/05/2026: Excellent dish! Unfortunately, I'm giving it 4 stars because there's very little space, and you're practically sitting next to other customers when you're in the dining area! But everything else was very good!

13/04/2026: We come from time to time and are never disappointed! The atmosphere is refined and chic, and the staff is pleasant and professional. On sunny days, the restaurant offers a lovely hidden terrace in the inner courtyard. An Italian menu just the way we like it, accompanied by a fine selection of wines that pair perfectly with the delicious cuisine. A wonderful place in old Périgueux, a stone's throw from the basilica.

Kudos to the chef as well for the generous, flavorful, and truly delicious cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and recommend this restaurant 100%! 👏😋 Note: it's best to make a reservation!!!

19/05/2026: Wow what a find. Being early diners in France is not an easy thing but we wandered into this beautiful little restaurant. We honed in on the 3 course menu for 29€ and made our choices. Service was exemplary and we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. I had a petit salad with chicken intestines which I have to say was one of the most delicious dishes I've tasted for awhile. The fillet of fish with a beautiful vegetable sauce was also just as delicious. I finished off with the traditional dessert and was completely satisfied by the end. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its food, service and atmosphere.
