17/07/2026: I was lucky enough to discover this Italian pasta restaurant and, over time, get to know the owners. It's always a real pleasure to return. The pasta is simply excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and true Italian expertise. The owners are lovely, always smiling, and take the time to chat with their customers, which makes each visit even more enjoyable. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. If you love authentic Italian cuisine and want to have a wonderful time, go for it—you won't be disappointed!

13/07/2026: Excellent little restaurant. Despite the heat, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious garlic soup offered as a starter. The Périgord salad was very generous and well-dressed, topped with a surprising scoop of Rocamadour ice cream. The waitress was friendly and efficient; there was no need to ask for a carafe of water, as soon as it was three-quarters full, she brought a fresh, chilled one. We highly recommend this charming restaurant. Excellent value for money.

This chef, who ran the entire restaurant by himself, took us on a five-course journey, a taste explosion of Dordogne. A foie gras so creamy and flavorful that it resembled a savory praline cream. The steak was so good that the animal told a story in your mouth, that it had had a wonderful life. It couldn't be otherwise in an environment like this. But the dessert... Never before have I tasted anything so intensely fresh on a plate. As if the ingredients had truly been picked just before they were placed on the plate. The true unprocessed beauty of the ingredients and the food emerged and came to life. This was truly pure and natural. The chef, who takes care of the restaurant ensemble, offers a gust of voyage and cinq services, a veritable explosion that saves the Dordogneuses. A complete meal of exceptional quality, both in terms of taste and nutrition! We even received a fruit salad as a bonus at 4 pm. Truly delightful in 35-degree heat. 18/07/2026: The restaurant truly lives up to its name! I discovered it thanks to the excellent Google reviews, and now I understand why it's so highly rated. I ordered a two-meat taco meal (chicken and ground beef), and it was a real surprise. The meats are homemade and marinated; you can tell from the first bite. The taco is huge, generously filled, and incredibly delicious. For only €12, the value for money is simply unbeatable. Special mention to the staff, who are very welcoming, friendly, and patient. You can tell they take the time to serve their customers well, and that's really appreciated. An excellent find that I wholeheartedly recommend. It's exactly the kind of establishment that deserves its reputation and excellent reviews. I'll definitely be back! 👌

19/05/2026: Wow what a find. Being early diners in France is not an easy thing but we wandered into this beautiful little restaurant. We honed in on the 3 course menu for 29€ and made our choices. Service was exemplary and we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. I had a petit salad with chicken intestines which I have to say was one of the most delicious dishes I've tasted for awhile. The fillet of fish with a beautiful vegetable sauce was also just as delicious. I finished off with the traditional dessert and was completely satisfied by the end. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its food, service and atmosphere.

The service was equally remarkable: professional, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant in Mussidan. I will definitely be back!

19/07/2026: A quick stop at the snack bar on our holiday road trip. Friendly welcome. The lady was very smiley and pleasant. The burger was delicious with an exceptionally crispy bun that wasn't too dry. I recommend this little place.

17/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! Palmyre Soleil de l'Amazonie is the perfect place for a family lunch. The large garden is a real bonus: children can play safely on the trampoline, with a ball, in the playhouse, and even use the bicycles provided, while parents relax and enjoy a meal or a drink in the sun. The service is excellent and the welcome particularly warm. The manager, originally from the Dominican Republic, greeted us with a big smile and great kindness. A fantastic place that we highly recommend to families!

26/07/2026: The food was good, but the service was very disappointing. The waitress told us she had two other large tables waiting because we weren't ordering "quickly enough," making our guests very uncomfortable. Paying €60 per person for such disrespectful service is unacceptable.

26/07/2026: A very good lunch here with the family on Sunday out on the pleasant terrace. Great bread, amuse bouches (chilled tomato soup), nibbles and duck mains and salads (esp Perigoudine with v generous slab of foie gras). Exquisite wild strawberry tart with lime sorbet all round to finish. Inside is lovely too - brasserie style area to front and gorgeous classy tablecloth old skool vibe beyond. Stonking bottle of Pecharmant stood up to the confit and magret. Ok service from youngsters with v good Maitresse D. Great spot - don't know why we haven't been before.
