09/08/2026: We didn't like the bread; the crumb was hard, and we didn't even eat it that night because it was so difficult to cut. The desserts were somewhat better. We paid a bit more than in other bakeries in the region expecting better quality, but that wasn't the case. The mille-feuille was the best thing, but it was almost a euro more expensive.

07/08/2026: I thought I'd bought a traditional item; I received a knight's sword. Surely the baker was inspired by it, given the proximity of the medieval castle.

04/08/2026: Delicious food! Very generous and excellent portions! The setting could be much nicer if it were better maintained. But I saw a large "For Sale" sign, so perhaps that's the reason.

13/04/2026: Best fishing and chips in France, highly recommended. Reservations are absolutely necessary because everyone knows their way to this cozy place with its friendly owners. Very affordable.

04/06/2026: We visited the hotel in September 2025 with a small dog, to enjoy some drinks on the terrace outside the restaurant. We were welcomed and the service was great. We invited some friends to join us in June 2026 and were told that ‘the hotel only allows one dog on the hotel premises at any time and since there was already a dog’, we could not be served. Disappointing.

23/07/2026: Market day. Unpleasant and rude service (no hello, no thank you). You feel like you're bothering them as a customer. And yet there was a lovely café just a stone's throw away with a much nicer terrace!

28/07/2026: We discovered La Blanche Hermine during a weekend in Bergerac. I highly recommend it!!! Welcoming and delicious at a more than reasonable price. The galettes are to die for. Despite being busy, there was no excessive wait. We went back the next day. :-) Top-notch

19/07/2026: At La Blanche Hermine, come one, come all! The cider is so good, it'll make you happy. The original crêpes are generous. The plate is empty. The body says, "That was good!" 26/05/2026: A beautiful shaded terrace in the prettiest village in the area. Fabulous food (especially seafood) and friendly attentive service. Thank you! From my ten year old daughter- The starters were very yummy and the same with the main course, I would highly recommend coming here. I can’t help but think how incredibly hard it must be to run a business like this. The staff were also incredibly kind and I hope to come back soon.

20/05/2026: We were a group of motorcyclists who received a very warm welcome. Laetitia and Eric shared their passion for truffles with us. During our stay, we were able to sample various specialties and a delightful array of desserts, lovingly and passionately prepared to tantalize our taste buds. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, ensuring restful nights in the peaceful Périgord countryside. The presentation and tour of the truffle orchard were very informative and answered all our questions. A truly immersive stay at a very welcoming, informative, and delicious guesthouse. 16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery :-) During our stay in the Périgord region, we stopped at the Mérigots truffle farm. A truly great experience!! A lovely presentation of the estate and the truffle-growing profession. Followed by a superb truffle tasting experience at lunchtime.

15/05/2026: A superb welcome; Aurélie, the waitress, was very friendly and pleasant. The chef prepared a very refined and flavorful dish. A restaurant I highly recommend.

05/08/2026: Perfect. The staff is very friendly, the food is simple and delicious, all in a family atmosphere. Don't hesitate to participate in the Wednesday evening tasting event. It's great fun. You get to try everything, and I can tell you that you won't be disappointed with your €35 spend. I highly recommend it.
