24/11/2025: A place like few others left in France! Arriving on our motorcycles, a bit dirty after a ride through the forest, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and invited to discover the local cuisine prepared by his wife. If you're passing through the region, it's well worth a visit, provided you have a sense of humor 😉 It will remain a very fond memory and a wonderful encounter for us.

22/08/2025: Four of us had a delicious three course set menu, with four choices for each course, for €32 each plus drinks. We sat outside and were served by the friendly host and his wife who prepared our meals. A very enjoyable time was had by all. I would certainly recommend.

19/04/2026: A truly disappointing culinary experience. The menu offered tasteless foie gras (homemade?), duck confit (dry and overcooked), and duck breast (thankfully ordered pink) that was as tough as meat. The dessert was chestnut mousse (where were the chestnuts?). In short, the staff were at least friendly. So, for 76 euros for two, you'd be better off ordering steak frites; you'll be less likely to be disappointed. 🤑🤑

25/04/2026: A truly unique café, very well designed and incredibly stylish. The food is top-notch, with incredibly decadent desserts. Antoine and Justine are very welcoming; their hospitality immediately sets the tone for the place. A must-try restaurant during your holidays in the area!

23/04/2026: A beautiful spot in a charming village. The menu is typical of an Italian restaurant, but there's no pizza. The pasta dishes, charcuterie, and meat dishes are all excellent. The service is impeccable, and since the walls are part of a local historical monument, you feel like you're in the guardroom of a castle. A truly memorable experience.

08/04/2026: Highly recommended! Excellent value for money at this very friendly pizzeria in the center of Périgueux. Arriving right at opening time after making a reservation, we were able to dine on the quiet outdoor terrace at the back of the restaurant, away from all traffic. A very warm welcome and the service was just what we like: relaxed and professional! The pizzas are generous, topped with lots of delicious ingredients. In short, if you're in Périgueux, don't bother looking for another pizzeria! We'll be back! 👍👌🙏

The delicious and generous homemade pizzas, the quality meat, and the impeccable service at a more than reasonable price make you want to come back, which we did. Well done and thank you.

16/04/2026: Pizza Périgourdine (Crème fraîche, cheese, dried duck breast, goat cheese, olives, oregano) -> very good. Pizza La Coppa du Périgord (Cream, cheese, coppa from Périgord, Cantal AOP cheese, basil, Périgord walnuts, black olives, oregano) -> very good. The pizzas are good and generous. But the service is borderline amateurish. At the end of the meal, we were asked if there would be coffee. We replied, "no," and the waitress left us standing there. No instructions on how to pay, no "Have a good day."

24/04/2026: We've eaten at La Blanche Hermine several times. A warm welcome, delicious crepes, and having the salad on the side is a great idea! I highly recommend it, we'll definitely be back 😉

27/03/2026: Large, quiet parking area. Friendly welcome, and I ate well (although a little sauce in the rice would have made it a bit less dry). Clean showers, however, it would be nice to have doors rather than curtains, if only for the women who might need to use them. Coffee + croissant/pain au chocolat. Available from 6 am. 10/01/2026: An excellent Asian restaurant in Riberac. Although the dining room is a bit dated, the dishes are very good, well-prepared, and varied. We will gladly return to this restaurant when we are next in the town.
