08/09/2024: Great hotel. Beautifully renovated. Kept authentic but with modern accents. The hotel owners Ruud and Jan, together with their employees, do everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. Very good breakfast buffet and the food in the restaurant is great. The rooms are tastefully decorated and fully equipped.
Relax in the pool after a hot day. Where the amazing house limocello spritz is served. Delicious🍹
In short, it is highly recommended to visit this hotel. Owners speak fluent Dutch, French, English and German.

Tried hydromassage 2 times on different days and never worked
Good breakfast although a little "sad"
We had dinner twice with overly elaborate dishes and all this to the detriment of the raw materials. The desserts however were excellent.
My truffle omlete at a cost of 23 euros (one omlete!) Tasted just like egg, the truffle definitely got lost in the kitchen!!! Although I pointed out to the waitress that my wife knew nothing, neither she nor the owner present in the room were interested in my complaints.
The value for money is excessive for what is offered.
19/08/2024: We enjoyed this hotel on a family trip. The rooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. The metal shutters allow you to sleep long in the morning. The staff is nice. There is a swimming pool spa, very good for swimming. There is a nice view from the rooms located at the back, near, forest, small pond, tennis court, etc.

However, if like me you go to an Indian restaurant because you do not consume milk and have an essentially plant-based diet, warn the waiter, they have 3 dishes which may be suitable for vegans but specify this because by default they brown their byriani vegetables in butter for example.
My order was adapted and it went well.
Very good food! I was just hoping for less dairy for an Indian restaurant, it surprised me.

02/09/2024: Un samedi 31 août au soir 21h15 , très mal reçu, le gérant nous prend de haut et parle très mal le français...ils ne servent plus alors qu'il y a encore du monde...nous étions seulement 2 .
Mr était fatigué de sa saison sans doute mais ce n'est pas notre problème en tant que clients et il y a des façons de le dire ...
A fuir absolument surtout que le même soir des amis se sont pris la tête par téléphone avec lui également pour réserver alors qu'il était 20h30...bref lamentable et pitoyable pour une guinguette en Dordogne.
Mr changez de boulot et laissez les bonnes et belles personnes tenir cet établissement !!!

28/09/2024: We were staying in the campsite opposite and had read good reports about this snack bar. We were very happy with the burger and home made chips we had. It wasn’t overly busy but others came while we were there and service was good. If in the area I would definitely return.
25/09/2024: L'endroit est tellement cosy. Une belle vue sur le château. La serveuse est extrêmement gentille. Le burger et frire maisons excellent ainsi que le vin de bergerac moelleux. Une belle pause avant de monter au château de Beynac. Chloé
