06/12/2024: No response to my hello. Cold reception. Bland raclette pancake with crunchy potatoes. I cleaned the table I ate lunch on myself. In short, not twice.

19/09/2024: Arrived at ten minutes to noon, very badly received by a lady, we asked if it was possible to have lunch (very curt answer, it's not yet time, you have reserved.) no, sorry, we are passing through. Perhaps we can wait. in front of an aperitif.response from the lady go to the bar So we left I do not recommend this establishment. Really unpleasant welcome

03/12/2024: Disappointed. Reptiles, amphibians and other varieties are presented in very cramped vivariums. When you think that they are going to spend their whole lives in these places, it is quite inhumane. The whole thing is not clean. The pool area is dirty and not maintained. The windows of aquariums are the same. I will not return there, nor recommend it.

20/11/2024: I loved going to the aquarium: it's very big, lots of species of animals. Great aquarium. I recommend going there. And there are other activities around.😁

10/07/2024: We really enjoyed our stay at La Bastidr. The owners did their best to accommodate us and went above and beyond making us a vegan meal for lunch and dinner. The pool was fun for our daughter who very much enjoyed playing with Laurinda, the owners daughter. Thank you so much for having us!

27/08/2024: Very friendly owners and always good food, some dishes or starters more original than elsewhere pann poppe... Chicken confit... Friendly and calm atmosphere, we always have a good time relaxing there. Stop there while passing through Lamonzie!!!

04/09/2024: We have just had a great stay at the Relais des Reynats hotel, a fabulous welcome from Madame Christina, without her the stay would not have been as wonderful. Compliment to the chef and the restaurant team

21/09/2024: The bedroom was small, but for one night, ok. Pity the tv only has one channel in English - BBC News. Staff exceptional. Waitress at breakfast incredibly friendly and professional. I commented on her to Reception.

20/09/2024: The hotel is a budget one in a five star location. Near to the centre but next to the river with a lovely outdoor bar and eating area.

13/09/2024: Visited last night. Poor food and no idea on presentation. The starters were served in small dessert bowls. These were full of uninteresting salad one with a small piece of French bread topped with goats cheese. The other with some mixed charcuterie around the top. No imagination whatsoever into presentation. The main feature was the salad which was not even mentioned on the menu. The restaurant was very busy with one waitress serving both the bar and the food area. Menus were on heavy blackboards carried to each table by the waitress. The main course we chose was confit de canard which we were told was served with potatoes. These arrived on cold plates with a pile of lukewarm penne pasta on the side covered in what might have been a mushroom sauce and some fried onions. The duck was fine but no better than what you buy in the supermarket and cook at home. Total cost including wine was €76.20. We mentioned to the waitress that the food was average but she wasn’t interested. I’m amazed at the fact the kitchen staff are so unaware of presentation and what goes well together. One of the other tables were also unhappy with their food and mentioned to the cook when he came to clear the table. I would not recommend this restaurant. The visit was disappointing.

The decor immerses you in local history while providing a warm and welcoming setting. The chef, a true enthusiast of good produce, has prepared a delicious mixed plate that will delight food lovers. Every bite is a testament to the love and care that went into selecting the ingredients. It’s a true ode to local cuisine! But that's not all: we also had the chance to meet some super friendly local people who add a touch of hospitality and friendliness to the experience. A must-see place for those who want to combine culinary discovery and immersion in the history of Lalinde. I highly recommend stopping there and enjoying this unique experience! 🍽️🏛️

12/11/2024: Hello, my husband and I ate very, very well in this magnificent restaurant with an incredible view of the Dordogne!, the waiters are very pleasant, we slept well in a clean and modern room :) Great experience I recommend.
