06/05/2026: We booked a night at this hotel at a very reasonable price. Our room was renovated with new bedding, and the shower area was completely renovated and very well laid out. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely return. Franck

03/05/2026: Although the hotel is located in the heart of a commercial area, its excellent soundproofing shielded us from traffic noise and the sounds of nearby restaurants. The young man at reception was very friendly and professional. Our (superior) room was clean and functional. Private parking with a code. I recommend this hotel.

26/02/2026: This place serves delicious Périgord products, mostly pastries, as it's a tea room. The "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) is a true gourmet experience, featuring treats made by the local baker. The service is provided by a vibrant and lively employee with a charming, chatty personality and a delightful southern French cheerfulness! I highly recommend this place!

06/06/2026: A superb, well-maintained castle where we slept peacefully in a beautiful room. The restaurant is excellent and very good value for money. Friendly staff. We spent three nights in the room with access to the top of the keep, which overlooks the property. A must-do at least once in a lifetime (this was our second time).

03/06/2026: The drive through the country side was already worth the visit but once you come around the corner and this beautiful chateau comes into view it is absolutely spectacular. Very peaceful and nice. Enjoyed the pool and a nice dinner outside during a very nice and mild evening. Very spacious rooms with old fashioned chateau decorations. Yes, the bathrooms are not the newest anymore but work well. Overall it was a great experience and I can very much recommend to spend a night here. Staff was very helpful and friendly and even with my non-excisting French skills ☺️ it was no problem to communicate.

27/06/2026: Once settled in the shade of a particularly hot spot, we ordered a red wine that seemed perfectly suited to the 35-degree ambient temperature. The Fuze Tea was also hot, and the four small ice cubes melted instantly. The young man in his twenties must have been surprised when I asked for more ice; he took two in his hand and put them in the glass, looking puzzled. I let him have all the Fuze Tea; I don't know if he understood the situation.

18/06/2026: Excellent homemade meals, a well-stocked appetizer buffet, and so many delicious desserts that it's hard to choose—all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

16/02/2026: A very pleasant setting and a warm welcome by the river. We only stopped for a coffee on the road, but the place was definitely worth a Google mention!

27/03/2026: Excellent welcome, the waiters and waitresses were very friendly. The duck confit was very good. The only problem was that we left smelling of fried food, which wasn't very pleasant.

22/03/2026: We spent the weekend there, and the place is always packed, so on our last day we decided to try it. The service was impeccable; they were very friendly and tried to communicate in Spanish at all times. They have a QR code with the translated menu. There's a good variety to choose from. The restroom, which is unisex, is down three steps.

15/04/2026: We stayed in a standard room for €72. It was adequate, with a kettle, tea, coffee, and sugar. The TV screen was a good size. Reception hours were limited, hence the 3 stars for service. I'd like to respond to your reply. Sophie and I stayed on Saturday, April 11th, on the 2nd floor. Please don't spread misinformation when our experience was quite positive.

17/03/2026: A small, convenient, family-run hotel with good rates. The beds are comfortable, the staff welcoming, and the breakfast buffet perfectly adequate. However, the rooms are quite noisy, especially the doors, so be prepared to wake up early! The restaurant is quite good, with very reasonable prices.

31/05/2026: An address you absolutely must know! I almost never take the time to leave a review, but this restaurant truly deserves its 5 stars. Between the warm atmosphere, the beautifully presented and delicious dishes, and the service provided by a smiling and attentive team, everything is in place for a wonderful experience. The only small point for improvement: the menus could use a little cleaning, as they were a bit dirty. A minor detail that doesn't detract from the overall quality of the establishment. In short, two happy Reims locals, even more in love with the Périgord region! I highly recommend it!

05/05/2026: A very welcoming establishment, impeccable service at the bar from the owner who is very friendly and always has a warm smile, and enjoyable afternoons playing board games which are quite popular. The atmosphere is truly pleasant and makes you want to come back! Keep up the good work, it's fantastic!

12/10/2025: I stopped to eat a crepe served, I should point out, on a cardboard plate, but the crepe was also made of cardboard. Avoid it at all costs. The sugar is also non-existent.

16/05/2026: At the entrance to Périgueux, a verdant oasis with a very large pond. Peaceful yet only 5 minutes from the major shopping centers. Spacious room with a superb view of the pond and park, lovely staff. Restaurant by the water. Don't hesitate!
