25/04/2026: A truly lovely place for a wonderful surprise for my husband's 40th birthday. We had a fantastic meal. The service was attentive, just the right amount, and very discreet. The gourmet menu was absolutely divine. As we love discovering new flavors, we were delighted! We highly recommend it!

19/04/2026: We came as a couple for a weekend getaway to escape the daily grind and relax. Unfortunately, the reception staff didn't bother to mention that a wedding was taking place on Saturday at the lodge. As a result, the wedding sound system was blasting outside the lodge, so from 5 pm to 2 am we were able to enjoy the festivities. What's more, the bride and groom had their photos taken right in front of our terrace, directly in front of the private jacuzzi… Frankly, I was disappointed by this interruption, as we were there to enjoy some peace and quiet. We were also very disappointed with the breakfast (€20 per person). Don't even think about asking for a cappuccino, or you'll get a hazelnut coffee… As for the service and the quality of the amenities, we were disappointed again. At €250 a night, we expect a minimum level of service (and I should mention that we are used to this type of establishment). The staff was a bit too casual and not attentive enough. The rooms are simple and lack quality decor, and the grounds are poorly maintained. However, we had a pleasant time at the bistro and Michelin-starred restaurant. The view is magnificent, and the food was delicious. It's fortunate the food was good because, for a Michelin-starred establishment, it lacked a certain elegance and modernity in our opinion! In short, good quality cuisine, average service, and regarding the setting, be sure to ask if a wedding is planned for the day of your reservation to avoid our disappointment.

07/01/2026: While my presence in the morning hadn't bothered the rather grumpy owner too much, the evening shift snubbed me when I simply asked for a glass of water in addition to the drinks I'd already ordered and received at my table. I just didn't pay immediately because she'd left too quickly. At the very end, seeing me preparing to leave, neatly putting my things away and barely having risen from my seat, she pointed out, even before I looked up and after I'd politely said "goodbye," and even before I'd made a move to leave through the door of her establishment, she said, and I quote, "Uh, but you have to pay, sir!" with a pout that clearly indicated she expected me not to pay. Tough luck, I always settle my debts, and I told her I would have been back the next day, especially since I had indeed planned to return, even though she didn't believe me. So here I am, a thief and a liar to boot! And this despite the fact that I was planning to spend the entire following week exploring the region while I was staying nearby! I thanked her, sincerely apologized, explaining that it had completely slipped my mind (to pay; with the end of the year approaching, my responsibilities as a dog handler, the ongoing partial management of my family, and so on), and paid for the drinks (almost the same as in the morning: 4 euros for the espresso and the kiwi diabolo, not forgetting the tip for her trouble). I left. Then, after a few steps, I decided to turn around immediately. I came back to tell her about my thirst and the glasses of water I never received, and that despite all this and her insulting and disrespectful attitude towards me, I was hesitant to return the next day. She was utterly contemptuous. So I left, saying, "See you tomorrow!" What she said to me behind my back as I was walking through the door towards Martyrs' Square across the street was, and I quote: "Goodbye forever." To which I immediately replied, pointing my fingers at her so she'd better watch out. She's completely unintelligent. And he's hardly any better than her. NEXT TIME, PLEASE MAKE ME PAY FOR ALL THE DRINKS I BUY BEFORE I even consume them; it would avoid this kind of hassle, frankly! Especially since you don't know me from Adam and have never seen me before. And one last thing: take good care of yourself... Have a wonderful holiday anyway, I imagine. Here are a few photos of the place, out of appreciation for a large and well-located establishment and out of respect for a wonderful city and its more than lovely inhabitants, except for them, for now! Too bad. For your information, I'm neurodivergent, so like everyone else, as the end of the year approaches, I can sometimes get a little overworked. That's absolutely no reason to let myself be insulted and disrespected in the slightest! I even left a tip after, of course, paying for the service, which included welcoming me, serving me, and accommodating my dog ​​and me for a total of 3.5 hours throughout the day; so it's only fair to pay for such service! And once again, I apologize for spilling my dog's food twice, even though you didn't want me to clean it up, as well as for this long message, which I hope you'll read carefully this time and which I'm sure will help you improve one day, if it doesn't completely turn you off yourself and your profession forever! 01/05/2026: A gem in a refined/sumptuous setting! The telephone reservation process was exceptionally kind and courteous. The service was impeccable, led by the wonderful head waitress. The cuisine is outstanding! We ordered a children's menu, a salad, a cassoulet, and a truffle menu—a truly immersive experience. The balance of flavors is masterful; even my 18-month-old discovered refined dishes, and I am sincerely grateful! The icing on the cake is that the chef is present in the dining room, passionately sharing his work with all the guests, which we greatly appreciated. We are used to seeing chefs dedicated to their craft, so thank you very much, Chef! The atmosphere in the dining room is very friendly, almost convivial, even though the clientele is particularly cosmopolitan. But it doesn't matter; the atmosphere is so pleasant that language is no barrier! Thank you for this wonderful experience.

25/02/2026: One of the few restaurants open at the end of February, a €17.50 set menu consisting of pumpkin soup, a generous slice of homemade country pâté, cassoulet, and chocolate cake (or two scoops of ice cream). We ate it all, it was delicious! Friendly service and excellent food, highly recommended!

16/05/2026: While we were looking at the menu, the owner of this restaurant invited us in to visit her beautiful courtyard. Charmed by the setting and her warm welcome, we returned for dinner the next day. The prices are very reasonable, and they serve local produce in a lovely setting. It was the hospitality that we particularly enjoyed.

17/12/2025: I'm giving it zero stars. I bought a Paris-Brest for 4 euros, and in my opinion, that's expensive for a stick of margarine. It's sickening; the margarine taste is way too strong. I would have preferred a praline mousseline cream, like they make these days, instead of a pint of hazelnut fat. Disgusting.
