22/08/2024: A simple, local restaurant and that's the charm. We come as we are and we meet people who know each other.
We liked it, the prices are reasonable, the cuisine is family style with a menu for 22 or 28€. A soup for everyone.

17/09/2024: Magnificent hotel in every way! From the comfort of the rooms (we had booked a large family room with two double beds), to the services offered (very good restaurant, swimming pool, bar) and the friendliness of the staff, for us it was only positive experiences.

29/07/2024: Late Saturday evening after returning from vacation, we ordered Pizzas for the first time.
The delivery service worked perfectly and the pizzas were very good, well stocked and above all the dough was very tasty.
We will be happy to order again.

10/09/2024: The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The dinner was nothing surprising. We expected better for a star. It was good but nothing more. No surprises in the mouth. Impeccable service both for the hotel and the restaurant. Pleasant swimming pool, despite the noise from the jacuzzi. Hotel well placed to discover the region but a little noisy for the rooms which overlook the road.
26/08/2024: Une cuisine de niveau véritablement gastronomique ! Les plats sont soignés, bien travaillés et très gourmands. Un régal !! Le personnel très professionnel est aux petits soins. Une très belle expérience, qui donne très envie de découvrir aussi le restaurant gastronomique des Glycines !

10/08/2024: We stopped at the Charbonnel hotel which gave us a very professional welcome.
The room, although being the smallest (latest availability, information provided in advance at the time of booking) was very cozy. Comfortable bedding with a view of the river. Perfect for our overnight stop.
Evening meal on the waterside terrace; refined, pleasant staff. Hearty breakfast on the terrace or indoors if you prefer. We will happily make a stopover at this hotel again.

29/03/2024: The best pizzas of my life!! I also tasted the pasta alla carbonara (they deserve to be on the menu! Unforgettable culinary memory!!) I come back as many times as my wallet allows. The team is very pleasant and accommodating! Don’t hesitate, run!!!!

12/09/2024: Home catering: I warmly thank the Lo Gorrissado team for their exceptional performance during our party this summer. Chosen on the warm recommendation of friends, and rightly so! Fluidity of exchanges, tailor-made adaptation to our sometimes original wishes, excellent quality of products, total autonomy for installation on the day, superb presentation and of course, delicious food. We and our guests were won over, looking forward to the next opportunity.
09/09/2024: We came to dinner Saturday evening with my parents-in-law. Have reserved the afternoon for the evening. What a magnificent discovery lost in the middle of the forest but wow. Homemade products, taste. Refined. Local products. Crazy value for money. Truly incredible. Some photos of the starters and dessert.
Thank you to the team of this restaurant and to the chef who creates dishes that are excellent for sight, smell and taste buds.

02/09/2024: We stayed there the night of August 24-25, 2024 in room 7. When booking we knew that this room was a triple room but at the price of a double. THANKS. Spacious, clean room with good bedding. The hotel is quiet, well located by the river and a stone's throw from the castles (2) of Bourdeilles (a must-visit). Small, pleasant swimming pool too. Possibility of parking also. The welcome is friendly and professional. Very good catering (around 140 euros for 2 with aperitif, main course, dessert and glass of wine). The price of breakfast is perhaps a little high (16 euros). I recommend this hotel for its calm (far from the hustle and bustle of Brantôme), its location and its catering.
