21/12/2025: Delicious!! I've been going to this restaurant for over 10 years during my holidays and I've always been delighted with the service!! The pizza is delicious, the salads too—I must have tried everything on the menu over the years and I've never been disappointed! The desserts are good, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, even better in the summer!! The restaurant's adorable and very cuddly little cat is a real bonus!

27/08/2025: A warm welcome, very pleasant waitresses, and a competent team! A superb setting and delicious food!! The best pizzas we've tasted so far!! What a pleasure! I highly recommend this place; a beautiful spot in the heart of Nontron where we had a wonderful experience! Thank you, Les Bains Douches!

19/03/2026: Overall, we were disappointed by the gourmet menu we had on the 18th at lunchtime. Given the price (€88), we expected more flavor, especially in the first course (crab) and the third (veal). As the chef didn't leave his kitchen, we weren't able to discuss it with him. We like to dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant once or twice a year and are rarely disappointed, but this time we were.

03/03/2026: I came for lunch, so I can't comment on the rooms. The restaurant was excellent, with a magnificent view. The meal was absolutely wonderful and a truly delightful experience. Thank you very much.

19/11/2025: We went there on a Wednesday at lunchtime. We had a table on the terrace. It's a simple set menu, but homemade and very good. The place seems to be run by British people. A very warm welcome. The location is very pleasant, right in the center of the village with its white Dordogne stone houses. A great find! After several visits, the food is always just as good and hearty. You should also go for the British atmosphere on holidays and special events! Speaking English is a nice touch. We loved it!

24/02/2026: Nice McDonald's, clean and pleasant-smelling restrooms. We arrived with about 20 people and the service was quick and efficient. Special mention to Yoni for his kindness.

01/03/2026: We dined at this restaurant on the recommendation of a colleague. The setting is very pleasant, and the dish was decent, except for the vegetarian aioli. Reducing the price by €1 compared to the meat or fish versions doesn't seem like good value for money. The chef was very friendly and made sure everyone was served properly, all by himself! Well done! It's a shame the waitress was so cold and formal in her approach, but there was also a very attentive young waiter.

17/02/2026: I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel is poorly maintained; there was no secure lock on the door. The water barely worked, and the price was ridiculously high for just one night. Definitely not worth it. Furthermore, I was overcharged for breakfast, which included a truly awful croissant.

27/12/2025: Wonderful tea room. Whenever we're in Montpon, we always stop by. Excellent selection of teas and delicious pastries. Warm welcome. A real treat. 🙏🙏💖

26/12/2025: A white-haired gentleman with glasses was incredibly rude! No greeting, nothing! He even interrupted us at the table to make snide remarks! It's Christmas, a little joy, please! I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

19/09/2025: Late in the afternoon, we passed through Bars, a place we hadn't been to before. We stopped briefly to order a beer. A Leffe on tap cost €4.50, whereas in our village, just a few kilometers away, it costs €3.00. We found it a bit expensive. The service was neither unpleasant nor particularly friendly.

12/01/2026: Between Christmas and December 30, 2025, we stayed at this hotel and dined twice at the hotel restaurant, "CHABROL." We greatly appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The restaurant is truly gourmet, and the dining room overlooking the Dronne River is spacious and very pleasant. Pets are welcome.

09/11/2025: The receptionist was very welcoming. We had dinner at the restaurant, a lovely experience with pleasant service. The sommelier was attentive and offered enthusiastic recommendations. The room was beautifully renovated. The breakfast was adequate. In short, a wonderful and delightful stay.

07/03/2026: A very warm welcome, the waitress was smiling and friendly. The price was very reasonable, and above all, the food was absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and highly recommend it.

04/01/2026: I've been ordering here since 2014. I've never been disappointed. Only one delivery delay in 11 years. Apart from that, always on time. Excellent pizzas. Prices have gone up, but that's the case everywhere, so no complaints there. I recommend it and I'll continue to order. Special mention for the Empress pizza! ✌️

27/03/2026: Honestly, a very warm and friendly welcome. The apprentice (Tony) was fantastic, just as good as the rest of the team. The food was delicious and high-quality, featuring regional products (even the apples! 😉). A great find.

14/02/2026: Excellent restaurant; we had the set menu for around €17. Delicious dishes, the soup was good, and everything was homemade. The starter buffet was small but adequate. We'll definitely go back. However, you should book in advance or arrive early.

27/01/2026: A nice little restaurant, unpretentious. Parking is fairly easy, the service is very good, and the dishes are simple but well-presented and very tasty. The daily menu consists of a buffet of starters (fairly average), two main courses to choose from (fish or meat: both very good), and a dessert from the classics you'd find in a restaurant (standard but perfectly acceptable). If you're a group, remember to book ahead 😉 I recommend this place: friendly, decent, and budget-friendly.
