18/11/2024: Ideal place for a party. Booking for a double birthday. Discussions in advance for the organization of the half-day. Bowling afternoon for 25 people, followed by an aperitif and dinner. Everything was really good. The upstairs room is ideal for maintaining the intimacy of the event while not disturbing the passing public. Listening, kindness, understanding, everything was there. My wishes were all respected. The dinner was really good, from starter to dessert, a treat! The birthday cakes made by a pastry chef were excellent and exactly as I requested. Friendly, attentive, dynamic and professional team. All the guests were won over. Best wishes ! 🌸🙏

12/12/2024: 👍Very friendly staff. The food is well prepared and delicious👍. Everything in the hall is clean 👎The downsides: Visitors sat in jackets. It's cool in the hall. There are large puddles in the parking lot after the rain. It is very difficult to walk and stay in clean shoes. For this I took off 1 star. Dinner costs 18.00€. They give you a receipt for parking. 14/09/2024: Very good address. On the terrace among the trees, good idea. Perhaps one avenue for improvement, the exterior decoration could be improved with a more careful display of the trees and fountains of Jardiland. A children's area could be added. Careful and pleasant service

20/08/2024: Fast service and pleasant staff with a smile :) We had a basket of delicious Italian bread as an aperitif 😋. On the other hand, some dishes lack garnishes for the price, which is a shame... Price of desserts also a little excessive 7.90 for a slice of tiramisu...

24/08/2024: We were there as a family for a birthday and it was a great discovery! A hearty and delicious menu, prepared with farm products: starter, main course, dessert and aperitif! A restaurant with good value for money in a beautiful, quiet setting, with a good life in Périgueux and the surrounding area! The service was fast: but the same dish for everyone because the restaurant does not have a lot of staff! It didn't bother us because everyone loves duck breast as well as all the other products offered for starters and dessert! Don’t hesitate to stop by their store to buy local products! I highly recommend this restaurant!

The restaurant does not denote this; quality of dishes, freshness of products, everything in "simplicity".... Don't ask yourself the question, if you are in the Bugue region, come. 22/12/2024: We came for a stay in 2022 and another stay in 2024 where we discovered the enormous transformations of the very clean rooms (comfortable bed and mattresses), of the welcoming breakfast room where we found a range of pastries, brioche, muffins , madeleines, pancakes, cereals, fruits, yogurts, cheese, ham, coffee, teas and fresh juices for 10 euros. Chef Bastien treated us to cod crumble, duck leg confit, butternut cappuccino with truffle whipped cream and the best dessert, the ❤️ pistachio flow and lemon tenderness 🤩😍. Very good mention for Sabrina's welcome and her experienced service. Truly an address to remember!!! Don’t hesitate to make the detour all year round.

20/09/2024: We had the menu du jour two days in a row. Lovely spacious and shady terrace. Excellent value for money at €17 for 3 courses. Service was exceptional! Quick and friendly.

13/09/2024: Nous avons été conquis par l’ambiance des lieux, la prévenance de notre hôte et surtout par les saveurs de l’ensemble de nos plats. Les produits à la carte sont régionaux et délicieux. Mention toute particulière pour l’attention du chef à mon intolérance alimentaire particulière pour me permettre d’apprécier pleinement et sereinement cette soirée. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors d’un prochain séjour dans la région. Merci encore !

08/09/2024: Un petit peu déçu par le plat et le dessert la cause le sucre le tournedos de canard plat salé sucré était beaucoup plus sucré que la normale je conseille au cuisinier qui et certainement très qualifié de revoir sa vision de l'équilibre entre le sucré et salé de même pour le dessert la coupe de pruneaux avec glace vanille est énormément sucrée attention même pour les desserts il faut revoir l'équilibre

20/06/2025: Notice of name change! Co thé café "doesn't serve breakfast." At worst, we just wanted tea and coffee, but we were turned away! For those who won't read the whole summary: if you want to spend wisely, move on. Bakeries also make good coffee. For lunch, head to La Tarterie for beautiful slices of quiche; you can buy them in the morning 😉 A beautiful park nearby offers a great setting for breakfast and lunch. Madam, to err is human; sometimes we do wrong, and normally we don't get bogged down. So I'm going to respond to your dishonest and untruthful remarks. For the record, you were turning your back when we arrived; we mistook you for a customer! We didn't have time to sit down; you blurted out, "I don't do breakfast," without even a hello. The tone was set, it lasted a split second, we didn't bother to ask, and we were even a little shocked. In the end, we read that you also serve breakfast! And no, we didn't have pastries in the bags, but to find out, we should have communicated and not whined. So, after that, you have to accept the comment. Without a false response, I would have even deleted it. Obviously, some people still met the same person as us, but we understood that the lady is perfect and the others are just rude. 0 stars 🤣 For those who received a good, even warm, welcome, it's astonishing! So it smells like CBD or pills before the rush hour because she's nicer than at lunchtime, it seems! The margins are better, and that's the only thing that motivates this kind of person. It's not human contact, nor the good atmosphere of a real village café in the morning! Besides, there was no one there... we should have suspected that it was the wrong choice.
