17/04/2026: Tobacco shop not far from the plain, open until 2am

07/06/2026: The riverside terrace looked too inviting to ignore when we were walking past on a scorching May afternoon. We were the only ones there, but on the other hand, the glorious view over the Dronne was all ours. Refreshing ice-cream and a very decent coffee.

16/05/2026: Lovely old world charm in the heart of a beautiful French village. The owners are fantastic and aim to meet all your requirements- Thank you both for your hospitality.

28/05/2026: I wanted to try the rosette sandwich, but they were sold out. I opted for a chicken sandwich instead. The bread was good, but the filling—chicken, lettuce, and tomato—was very bland and tasteless. There wasn't even a slightly spicy mayo or a single pickle. Appearance is one thing, but it's not everything; the taste needs to live up to expectations in this era of increasingly popular snack alternatives. Sincerely, Bruno

16/05/2026: While visiting Bergerac, we stopped at the Marie Blachère bakery. It was a well-stocked shop with a nice variety of products, but above all, the staff was welcoming and made us laugh because they were teasing a man in training. We bought sandwiches, bread, and pastries because we had a sweet tooth. Kudos to the whole team for the warm welcome, because there are some truly unpleasant customers out there who can't be bothered by a baguette.

13/04/2026: The waitress was really kind and attentive. The meal was delicious. We came with our two dogs and it was very pleasant. Thank you for everything.

07/06/2026: The hotel's location is perfect, right by the river. The rooms are outdated but adequate for one night. The bar staff were inattentive.

06/06/2026: Service: Zero stars! Ten people on the terrace, with their drinks… We arrive, just the two of us… After eight minutes, and three visits from a waiter who didn't say a word to us and seemed more interested in showing off with his colleagues… 🙂 Bravo… 🎉 the team isn't ready to work at the Ritz! Avoid at all costs, or if you're a warrior, go ahead and you won't regret it 😉

09/06/2026: Daily special or à la carte, but no fries. House policy: no fries, because turning on the fryer isn't profitable at lunchtime. Canned green beans or flageolets. This isn't food, it's a cafeteria. And even then, there are some very good cafeterias out there. Seriously, avoid this place. From the food to the service, everything needs improvement. All-you-can-eat buffet, but nothing is homemade. A collection of poor-quality products. Never again.

09/06/2026: The Tex-Mex pork stir-fry was very spicy, even too spicy. The appetizer buffet was like something you'd get at home, but the dessert buffet was very ordinary. I don't recommend it. There were only about 6 people; I don't know where the other 40 were. 😊

06/05/2026: Superb view, very average room, very expensive restaurant for what it offered, and a very unpleasant waiter (apparently the owner). However, the breakfast was excellent.

01/05/2026: The view was magnificent, the food decent, but I've never been treated like this in my life. The person in charge of seating us treated us with utter contempt from the moment we arrived. We wanted to eat on the terrace (the weather was gorgeous), but this man refused, claiming it was going to rain... he finally relented after hurling unpleasant remarks at us. In the end, about 20 people ate on the terrace; not a drop of rain had been forecast.

26/03/2026: The experience got off to a terrible start. When trying to make a reservation on the hotel's website, I entered the wrong date (March 18, 2026, instead of May 16, 2026). I immediately called reception, who verbally informed me that they had corrected the reservation and that I would not be charged for the night. However, I was charged. After calling the hotel again, the receptionist told me that the amount would be applied to my corrected reservation. Despite several follow-up emails and phone calls, I haven't received any written confirmation. I am therefore expected to travel several hundred kilometers to the hotel on the day of my arrival, hoping that my reservation is valid and that I won't be asked for a second payment. This attitude clearly lacks professionalism and consideration for customers.

15/02/2026: It's impossible to give this establishment any stars. It's unacceptable to consider a place advertised as a 3-star hotel as worthy of that category. Run away, or you'll have nightmares. Don't fall into the trap; it's no longer part of the Logis group.
