19/06/2026: Booked a Wonderbox package with breakfast included, plus dinner as an extra. In the mobile home: The entrance mat was dirty, not to mention the mess under the bed and the dust in the bathroom. I expressed my dissatisfaction, but received a surprising response: (If you had gone camping...) "They just throw you a key and tell you to figure it out yourself..." And the restaurant? It's closed; the owner is having her family over this weekend, so it's out of the question. Don't even bother looking around these accommodations; they're so filthy. To top it off, we met the neighboring tenant who had his dirty laundry outside his door. I won't even mention the owner's comments, to whom I left a message expressing my dissatisfaction. We couldn't stay... I should point out that the hotel/restaurant industry has been my profession for 40 years.

07/06/2026: We just had a fantastic weekend there! We highly recommend it! The welcome was very friendly, the accommodation was excellent, and the restaurant had everything homemade – we thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back!!

06/08/2026: A little gem in the heart of Thiviers. Very polite and attentive service. Delicious pizza, generously topped with lots of fresh ingredients. If I were in the area more often, this would be my favorite Italian restaurant in France 👌🏼 even if it is served from a food truck in an unusual way.

03/08/2026: The advertisement says "open 7 days a week" - it's misleading; it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

06/08/2026: The welcome was rather cold. The waitress didn't seem very friendly, which made us feel unwelcome. I hope this feeling wasn't just our appearance 😕. It's a shame, because a warmer, more respectful welcome would make a big difference. On the other hand, their matcha is very good, which is a plus.

17/05/2026: The overall stay was satisfactory. A minor drawback was the surrounding noise (traffic and neighbors), as well as the lack of a welcome tray with a kettle and some tea/coffee bags, which would have been a real plus. Otherwise, the hotel is very well located and close to the free Henri IV parking lot!

04/05/2026: The hotel was well located – thankfully. We opted for a superior room at €140 per night, with breakfast at €20 to keep with the theme. The room was clean... provided you didn't look too closely at the generously stained carpet. The bathroom, delightfully frozen in time with its candy pink decor, offered the added bonus of peeling tiles in front of the sink. A certain charm, no doubt. The price, however, is firmly rooted in the present... and rather ambitious considering the amenities. As for breakfast, it was adequate but meager; we had to wait until the second day and a buffet to get anything close to what one might expect at this price. On the other hand, dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good with impeccable service. It's a shame the hotel itself doesn't live up to this standard.

18/07/2026: We've ordered pizzas and burgers for takeout several times. Ordering has always been excellent, and the delivery was just as fast! Everything was hot and delicious ☺️ We highly recommend them and will continue to do so!

14/08/2026: So, how to put it? It's a pleasant setting. We arrived at 12:30 pm. We hadn't made a reservation, but there was space. We were seated at a table for two, but the menu arrived 30 minutes later. We even considered leaving. We ordered the €26 set menu. Luckily, the food was good, but 2.5 hours for a starter, main course, and dessert... That's far too long. Unfortunately, our afternoon was cut very short. A shame for our last day in the Périgord region. 😢😢

13/05/2026: It's ridiculously expensive so we treated ourselves for our birthday 🎈 Restaurant looks boring for Michelin star standard. The waiters were busy and not attentive. We ordered flight of wine to accompany our meal. It was 25 euros per person.we had two tiniest of measures. And they forgot to bring the third wine. When we requested the waitress did not apologise or make it right she said Well I'm busy. Besides you not missing much. But they still charged us. Food was ok but not really Michelin standard that we experienced elsewhere. Very disappointed. Menu extremely limited two options ... My sincere opinion, don't waste your money. Plenty of great much cheSper and more welcoming restaurants around.

19/07/2026: Arrived with a baby and no seats available... Supposedly there were 3... I asked if it was possible to check if there were any other seats... The response was no, instead of going to look behind me and finding a solution... My McDonald's card, supposedly hacked, wouldn't work... Luckily I had some change... I paid and decided to give myself the points, as the manager usually does... A short, blond man with glasses refused and told me, verbatim, to sort it out myself, that it wasn't his problem. Yes, yes, it is his problem because all the managers do it!!!! This isn't the first time I've had problems with this particular McDonald's... Plus, he's condescending and tells me it's not possible, even though other McDonald's have done it... When it's not a problem with the order, it's a problem with the food (he spills a handful of salt and pepper in the hamburgers and makes them inedible). Where have the real managers from before gone, with their smiles and kindness? In short...it doesn't even surprise me anymore that the McDonald's in Port Sainte Foy isn't doing well with these kinds of attitudes...

07/08/2026: We tried this restaurant on August 5th as a family. We had excellent memories of it from four years ago, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the overall experience this time. The setting is certainly pleasant, but it doesn't compensate for the cold service and the disappointing food: bland cocktails, salmon as a starter served with an unseasoned salad, duck breasts ordered pink but overcooked, and undercooked potatoes as a side dish. And finally, a crème brûlée that wasn't set enough, to give you some concrete examples... In short, you pay a lot for a setting that is admittedly very pretty but for disappointing dishes. Other establishments in the area are much better!

05/08/2026: A very charming place in a secluded and sumptuous courtyard. At the entrance, we saw a "Maître Restaurateur" plaque, which reassured us. A very intimate moment in this lovely setting, but the Parmentier was, by all accounts, very dry duck, and the Périgord salad was nothing special. The service was very good.

27/06/2026: Great service in English. Some decent vegetarian options like Burrata salad.

01/06/2026: Good (thankfully), but far too expensive: €4 for a Coke, €16 for a charcuterie platter, €17 for burrata, and €38 for a set menu. Fried food is an extra €8. Half a duck breast with only three slices was €23. Given the price, one would expect more quantity. Alas, this was not the case. We won't be back.

19/07/2026: A very warm welcome and impeccable service. High-quality products. The waitress and waitress, two very friendly and professional young people, were very attentive. A great place!

13/07/2026: I'm a fairly regular customer; I came on July 13th at 9:50 PM. The servers told me the restaurant was about to close, and the cook sighed as I arrived, even though the restaurant's website states a closing time of 10:45 PM. I think that's a shame.

02/07/2026: I had the opportunity to eat there one evening during our last meal of our vacation, and I was very disappointed. It's more like a working-class restaurant than anything else; apart from the good wine, I can't say the food lives up to expectations. No local products, the duck leg was dry... and so on. The price doesn't justify what you get on your plate, unfortunately.

30/06/2026: We only had dinner. A very warm welcome and an excellent Périgord meal. A pleasant atmosphere among the staff and a friendly local feel. I recommend it.
