29/05/2026: Excellent! A welcome like you rarely find! The food and music from 10:30 pm onwards were a delight! Thank you to Cédric and the entire team at this restaurant for a wonderful evening! I highly recommend it!

23/05/2026: Nice restaurant, but the cocktails are tasteless! It turns into a nightclub around 10:30 pm, too crowded, not much space to move around. Not very pleasant.

21/08/2026: Beautiful place to eat, but the dishes were overcooked, and the dessert portion (walnut tart) was ridiculously small. The servers were friendly, but the wait between the appetizer and the main course was 35 minutes. Far too long, especially considering that other people who arrived after us were served before us.

05/05/2026: A very welcoming establishment, impeccable service at the bar from the owner who is very friendly and always has a warm smile, and enjoyable afternoons playing board games which are quite popular. The atmosphere is truly pleasant and makes you want to come back! Keep up the good work, it's fantastic!

24/04/2026: A few rather unpleasant customers, a somewhat moody owner... And besides, you can't just crush a customer's dreams. People come here looking for a little comfort... which isn't always the case...

15/04/2026: We stayed in a standard room for €72. It was adequate, with a kettle, tea, coffee, and sugar. The TV screen was a good size. Reception hours were limited, hence the 3 stars for service. I'd like to respond to your reply. Sophie and I stayed on Saturday, April 11th, on the 2nd floor. Please don't spread misinformation when our experience was quite positive.

17/03/2026: A small, convenient, family-run hotel with good rates. The beds are comfortable, the staff welcoming, and the breakfast buffet perfectly adequate. However, the rooms are quite noisy, especially the doors, so be prepared to wake up early! The restaurant is quite good, with very reasonable prices.

12/08/2026: The restaurant has changed a lot compared to before. The previous day's dessert had been kept in the cold storage, the fries were advertised as homemade but were actually frozen, and the coffee was flavorless and not properly ground. I don't understand such a large-scale change.

26/07/2026: Very bad experience ☹️ The pizza was way too salty, to the point that we couldn't even eat it. We went to the reception to report it and ask for a solution, but they refused to take any responsibility and offered no compensation whatsoever. :/ Truly disappointing service and unhelpful staff. I do not recommend it.

20/07/2026: On several occasions, pizzas with extra toppings were under-served, even though I ordered them... When I checked at home, I was dismayed to find that one of my pizzas, a Reine with extra toppings, had almost no ham or mushrooms, and none of the extras I had paid for and ordered! Be careful, because this is a recurring problem!

24/02/2026: Very tired God forgotten place with food that reminded me of post war times and where cappuccino tasted more like hot chocolate and costs 4 euros per coffee even though the price on the machine clearly states 2.60 euros. It took 5 min for someone to come out from the kitchen to serve us. Food and deco looked so uninviting that we decided to just order a coffee and leave. I would not recommend.

10/02/2026: Update from January 10, 2026: Back at this cafe and it was very, very good, simple, and inexpensive. Basic but very tasty starters. Main course: roast chicken, super delicious, with green vegetables, potatoes, and jus. Absolutely fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a generous portion! A small chocolate mousse-style dessert, so very good. I loved it because it was well-prepared and homemade; it was absolutely delicious, well done! Original post: Great food. We had the chicken escalope with tarragon sauce, which was to die for: perfectly tender, flavorful, a delight. The vegetables were great. The welcome was incredibly kind and pleasant; we felt very comfortable. The decor is very nice. In short, a good cafe-style restaurant, but of high quality. Just a slightly smaller selection of starters and desserts, but it's not a big deal. Thank you to the owners.

19/07/2026: Superb, authentic setting. Excellent welcome, kindness, and friendliness. The products are made on-site using produce from the farm. The quality is exceptional. I highly recommend it if you are in Périgueux and the surrounding area.
