We had a basket of delicious Italian bread as an aperitif 😋.
On the other hand, some dishes lack garnishes for the price, which is a shame...
Price of desserts also a little excessive 7.90 for a slice of tiramisu...

11/08/2024: Very nice find. Very nice place as well as the person who welcomed us. The excellent non-dairy oysters and the little lemon gin and Espelette pepper sauce, very good to make again.

10/09/2024: Really excellent experience. Service was quick and food was delicious. Ample servings of food as well. We had a delicious chicken Caesar risotto and fig, aubergine quiche with side salad, two crumble desserts and sparking water for €30. Outdoor seating under a covered terrace.
01/09/2024: Had a delicious lunch here after the city walk. The Caesar salad with chicken was the daily menu, a large bowl full, which was delicious. The Poke bowl without salmon was also delicious! And the price wasn't too bad.

03/12/2024: Disappointed by this restaurant, despite a competent waitress. I find the prices of starters and dishes a little too high (10 euros for eggs and mayonnaise.....). To start with a shandy as an aperitif for 4 euros, given the details of the bill I would have done better to take a tap which was 3 euros... anyway. To continue I take a Savoyard pizza and given the comments on this restaurant I was expecting a better topping which I found good but very far from being plentiful and what's more was on a tomato base, I was expecting a cream base fresh for a Savoyard.
17/11/2024: Beautiful varied menu meat fish pizza and pasta. Impressed by the Milanese escalope. Warm welcome which compensates for the coolness inside the restaurant. I recommend

14/09/2024: Very good value for money. Simple and generous cuisine. Wine list reduced to its simplest expression. Attentive and efficient server. Excellent coffee, especially in gourmet mode!
14/09/2024: Very good address. On the terrace among the trees, good idea. Perhaps one avenue for improvement, the exterior decoration could be improved with a more careful display of the trees and fountains of Jardiland. A children's area could be added.

17/09/2024: I think I got a dud room. It was small and outdated. There was a bad odor seemingly from the A/C that never subsided. The bathroom amenities had been updated but the walls looked like a child's art project. Thankfully, this is. It somewhere you stay to hang out in the room. The breakfast and hospitality were wonderful and the view on the river side is hard to beat. If you're considering staying here, don't be dissuaded by my review. Just ask for room 8 -- I got a leak when heading out and it looked beautifully updated complete with a river view.

17/09/2024: Located just 15 minutes from our accommodation and well worth the visit. The best food we’ve had in Sarlat!
Really lovely waitress, extremely helpful and helped us translate, which really helped the menu choices.
13/09/2024: My group of friends are a challenge for any restaurant as there are 11 of us. One is GF and another is lactose and alcohol intolerant so finding a place to accommodate us all with fantastic food at affordable prices was fantastic. Set menu of 3 courses €26.50 or €35.50 and good sized portions too.
The service was great with all our food arriving together on HOT plates (where appropriate) which was surprising as they also had a party of 24 eating there from a local hotel.
The added bonus was it was less than 5 minutes walk from the villa.
Some of the group are wine buffs and the wine list met their expectations too.
It was so good we went there twice!

10/10/2024: I feel really sad to write a poor review as this place is so close to where I live. The food is worse than what I'd expect 30 years ago at a working man's cafe for lunch. The place has a super website but it delivers something worse than McDonald's but at a much higher price. I won't be recommending it going forward. Sorry

26/08/2024: Bon accueil dans un cadre magnifique , repas sur la terrasse . Les plats sont bons , bien présentés , mais très légers . Le magret de canard était un peu trop cuit et pour une petite faim à 23 euros quand même.
