23/09/2024: What a lovely, pleasant stay! Pleasure to Discover or rather revisit Brantôme on foot from the hotel. The bosses are very present, friendly and attentive. THANKS.

27/08/2024: Very pleasant half-board stay. Very warm welcome. The managers and their team provide impeccable service. Ideal location for day trips, and central in the town of Brantôme. The breakfasts (hearty) and the hearty meals too (quality local specialties), are served, among other things, by the managers with professionalism and a touch of very appreciable humor. Room/bathroom well equipped and very clean. Book with your eyes closed!

18/09/2024: Hier geht es meiner Meinung nach um das Gesamterlebnis und nicht nur um die Küche. Es beginnt mit der Anfahrt gefühlt ins Nirgendwo. Dann ein schönes renoviertes Anwesen mit sehr schöner gemütlicher Terrasse mit einem tollen weiten Blick in die Landschaft. Sehr Naturbelassen. Familiär mit direktem Kontakt zu Koch/Besitzer und Küche. Er kauft morgens auf den Märkten ein und baut daraus die Gerichte, individuelles Tagesangebot oder kleine wechselnde Karte. Wir wählten Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Nachtisch, Wein. Nicht nur alles sehr gut, sondern auch wirklich mal "was anderes". Die Ente habe ich in der Form und Qualität und Geschmackserlebnis noch nie so gegessen. Herausragend. Der Wein aus dem Vorratsbehälter war deutlich besser als alle Flaschen die wir unterwegs so gekauft hatten. Eine Käseplatte zeigte was geht bei Käse wenn man selbst sonst mangels Kenntnis nur irgendwo zugreift. Dann bei passendem Wetter auf lauschiger Terrasse den Abend bei Wein und aufkommender Nacht ausklingen lassen. Super. Muss man mal erlebt haben.

04/09/2024: De passage à Périgueux, nous nous sommes posées sur cette place agréable pour dîner. Le personnel est accueuillant, sympas et souriant. Les salades généreuses et bonnes, qui correspondent à la description de la carte. L'attente était raisonnable. Nous avons passé une bonne soirée.

24/08/2024: L'attente est longue, trop longue Les plats sont d'une inégale saveur (= les frites sont bonnes mais le poisson est moins bon). L'endroit est beau et le personnel sympathique cependant.

14/09/2024: Après la balade jusqu'au château nous avons apprécié cette halte dans votre restaurant personnel très agréable nous avons très bien mangé. La salade périgourdine était copieuse et bonne. Je recommande.

25/12/2025: We stumbled upon this establishment while looking for a restaurant for dinner with our daughters on December 24th. What a delightful surprise it was to discover this welcoming place! The exceptional menu delighted us. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The prices were very reasonable. In short, everything was perfect, we will be back!

Relaxed (with a touch of humor) yet very professional service. Delightful little surprises throughout the meal and a good wine list. Very reasonable prices for such quality. We'll definitely be back.
