29/08/2024: We came to enjoy a kebab today. We were well received, the server was very nice. The price is all the more reasonable for a tourist town. Slight downside for the amount of space outside but this remains understandable given the number of shops nearby

29/08/2024: Nous y avons déjeuné, hier à 3 peronnes... La salade avec un ersatz de foie gras émulsionné n'avait de périgourdine que le nom... à éviter! Le service laborieux nous a demandé pas mal de patience... Nous avons fini par renoncer au dessert. C'est dommage, parce que j'y avait déjeuner plusieurs fois l'an dernier et j'en gardais un bon souvenir... Je n'y retournerai pas... j'ai eu l'impression qu'on s'était un peu moqué de nous...
25/08/2024: On y mange superbement bien je vous conseille le menu a 26€50 déjà avec l assiette périgourdine on est presque rassasié aujourdh ui 2 jeunes personnes très agréables faisaient le service

19/08/2023: Hotel very well located and with swimming pool. But it’s a shame that the reception was cold. The room is dilapidated. Flashing lights in the bathroom. 2 small lights on the walls and impossible to read in the evenings. Housekeeping more than mediocre. We were "lucky" to see how it is done: 5 minutes for everything. No washing in the shower, on the floor or on the tables. There was dirt on the table and floor when we arrived and it was still there when we left! We spent 3 days in the hotel. The trash cans in the room are not emptied and reception told us that this was normal because the cleaning lady does not empty them every day! This is the first time we've heard this in a hotel. In short, only “surprises”.

The fries are not homemade and that's a shame...
Nothing to say about the service, fast and efficient and the place is rather pretty.

17/11/2024: Absolutely avoid! The food was ok but very small portions. Unthinkable wait between courses: we spent two hours for a simple starter, main course, dessert menu!! In addition it was colder inside than outside and we ate while remaining dressed in our jackets. In addition, the boss was in a very, very bad mood.

18/12/2024: My parents visited last week and the heating in the room was a plug-in oil bath which was very noisy and moderately efficient. There was no heating in the bathroom either. Too bad for this price of 98€.
In addition, departure at 10 a.m. but we did them a favor by letting them leave at "11 a.m. last carat" knowing that in low season, the hotel was not full. There were also 3 people, the schedule could have been extended to 12 p.m., it would have been more commercial.
At the restaurant the menu only presented dishes for €32! The food was certainly good but no one offered them the Step menu which was certainly cheaper.
18/11/2024: We ate at the restaurant during our vacation in Aubeterre. What a delight!! The starter was amazing… we have never had such delicious squash soup 😋, it was so good!
And what followed was a treat too. Thanks to the chef and the kitchen team!! 💪🏻
The owner of the establishment who served us is adorable. His tourist advice was very good 👍.
We will come back to show Aubeterre and all this beautiful region to my father and stay in this hotel, which we loved!

13/09/2024: Lunch after the Thursday market in Lilande. The menu du jour was good food and good value. The pression is a bit expensive, but overall tasty food and a very pleasant experience.
