01/06/2026: Good (thankfully), but far too expensive: €4 for a Coke, €16 for a charcuterie platter, €17 for burrata, and €38 for a set menu. Fried food is an extra €8. Half a duck breast with only three slices was €23. Given the price, one would expect more quantity. Alas, this was not the case. We won't be back.

12/05/2026: Hello, we arrived at 12:00 PM and paid at 2:30 PM. Our order was taken 30 minutes later. We were served 30 minutes after ordering. At 1:30 PM, we finished eating, and the waitress asked us if we wanted bread, even though our bread basket was full! I told her we wanted dessert instead, and the waitress went to clear the tables. We finally managed to order dessert, and the three desserts arrived; it was another table's order. We ordered two coffees three times, and they arrived 30 minutes later. We paid, and the waitress offered us the coffees. Two and a half hours to eat is a long time. We were at one of the first tables and were served last. All the other tables were served before us. Conclusion: The staff is not trained in restaurant service. Lack of organization; the waitresses don't prioritize customers still seated at their tables, but rather setting tables and clearing dishes to the kitchen. This brasserie has great potential, but the waitresses need training and the chef needs improvement in food preparation. I've eaten at this brasserie several times, but I've noticed a lack of attention to detail. The waitresses shouldn't be rude to customers when they express their impatience. Organize yourselves better; a customer shouldn't wait more than 10 minutes between arrival and having their order taken, and respect the order of orders, and you'll have everything under control. My comments are intended to be constructive. Because I have great respect for your profession, which was also mine at one time. Best of luck and Have a good day.

19/04/2026: A very nice aquarium for a family visit with young children. It's a mix of aquarium and reptile park, with part of the visit taking place outdoors. There are some unusual species. Those who criticize the lack of water clarity and the supposed dirtiness of the aquariums clearly haven't understood that it's not due to a lack of maintenance during their visit. I recommend it, even if it's not the best aquarium; it's still worth a visit.

05/06/2026: A wonderful discovery in Brantôme. The welcome is warm, friendly, and professional. The duck andouillette is an original and particularly delicious specialty. The menus are balanced, flavorful, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The traditional homemade pastries are excellent and pair perfectly with the coffees and teas offered. The new owner has brought a breath of fresh air to the establishment. Her unusual background as a former pharmacist is reflected in the attention paid to the balance and quality of the dishes. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for lunch, a gourmet coffee, or afternoon tea in Brantôme.

08/05/2026: We ordered pizzas for dinner as a family and were very disappointed by the thinness and quality of the crust, as well as the small amount of toppings. The pizzas had virtually no flavor, and we all had stomach aches a few hours later and throughout the night. The only positive points were that some of the ingredients seemed fresh and the pizza maker was friendly.

24/04/2026: The service was impeccable, but the pizzas were thin and sparsely topped, which is a shame. It felt like eating a wrap or even a frozen pizza. But kudos to the pizza chef who runs the show single-handedly.

28/03/2026: Visited there on Friday 27 march. It was closed, with loads of stuff like furniture, plates, littering the front of the building, and the interior looked like it had been hit by an earthquake. All the furniture was piled at one end, all the serveries had gone and there was debris everywhere. + Holes in the walls where fittings had been ripped out, complete devastation! An A4 page notice on the door read, ''Fermé pour travaux'' [closed for work]! I hope it reopens soon.

31/05/2026: Thank you for the warm welcome we received, and to the very pleasant and dedicated staff. We enjoyed an excellent meal on the terrace; the fish was cooked to perfection, as were the vegetables and the duck confit. The desserts were delicious, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and the cuisine was truly healthy and expertly prepared by the chef and her team. We will gladly return soon.
