24/09/2024: Had a lovely meal here. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The deserts are top drawer.

15/09/2024: Un premier dimanche de vacances exceptionnel, la visite de la ville de Domme et le complément en petit train et puis cet exceptionnel restaurant où tout est parfait, de l'apéritif et ses amuses-bouche au dessert, il faudra noter le foie gras, les Saint Jacques, le gratin passion/framboise ou l'incroyable baba au rhum. Le Bergerac blanc Briand et le café ont fait de cette journée quelque chose d'inoubliable. L'accueil et le service sont irréprochables, les prix sont tout à fait abordables, le rapport qualité/prix est au plus haut niveau.

19/11/2025: The restaurant, with its immense castle fireplace that warms the atmosphere, is sensational. The cuisine is made entirely with fresh, local produce that they sell at the Souillac market. The dishes are extremely generous and flavorful. There's nothing to criticize; the porcini mushroom sauce is addictive, and the strawberry sorbet and walnut ice cream are a delight. The best part is being able to take home a little bit of their exquisite products at the end of the meal by buying honey, walnut cake, rolled waffles, and so on. The place is very pleasant and peaceful, and the service is truly warm and welcoming. I recommend it to everyone, in any season, to enjoy the variety of seasonal products. A truly memorable address.

15/11/2025: We had lunch there one day; a hearty, locally sourced meal at a very good price. The service was pleasant and quick. Be careful with children on the terrace, as it's close to the road.

19/09/2024: Cette ferme auberge est excellente et l’accueil est chaleureux. Le menu à €32 est excellent avec de très bons produits. Vous ne ressortez surtout pas avec la fin Ne déjeuner surtout pas le matin.

15/09/2024: Repas inoubliable. Venus avec un groupe d'amis alors que nous connaissions déjà cette ferme-auberge où nous avions mangé il y a près de 20 ans, nous avons encore une fois été émerveillés par la qualité et la quantité de la succulente cuisine familiale proposée. Des plats savoureux avec des produits du terroir, les histoires du maître des lieux très en verve pour agrémenter le repas dans la bonne humeur nous ont permis de passer un moment exceptionnel. A recommander sans modération et bravo à la famille Gaillard pour recevoir aussi chaleureusement ses clients dans ce lieu magique !!!!

12/09/2024: Lovely little pizza restaurant that caters for all. Superb pizza that tastes delicious. Service was a little rushed, this I think is due to its popularity and need to turn the tables around, food and cost is well worth it though.

29/08/2024: We sat down and asked for a table at 6.30pm but were told it was fully booked all evening despite being almost empty at that point and no reserved signs. We asked if we could just stay for a drink but they said only for 20 ‘ minutes..an hour later we were still finishing off our drinks and there were still most tables available. We asked again if we could stay to eat but were told no. The waiter was very brusque and impolite and it was clear that we were just not wanted, perhaps they only take booked reservations but we still felt it was very rude the way they spoke and dealt with us. As we passed there again about half an hour later the table we were at was still empty. Would not come again.

03/09/2024: Bonjour étant en vacances à Brantome nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant pour le repas du soir, nous avons été accueillis agréablement bien le service au petit soin les plats sont délicieux et copieux. Si vous passez par Brantome je vous recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter vous ne serez pas déçu.

03/09/2024: Pour l explication de cet avis modéré . Lieu très agréable, cuisine copieuse et bonne. Et quel dommage cet accueil .. une succession de remarques sur un ton pas très cool . C est dommage avec un plus de sympathie nous serions revenus .

28/09/2025: We spent 3 days and 2 nights in a very friendly and quiet place, and the best part is the restaurant. You can eat with complete confidence. It's good and plentiful, and the manager is very kind.

08/12/2025: I had a wonderful meal on the patio. As for the price, very reasonable considering the quality of the meal and the service. I took advantage of the weather and the view to have a few drinks and a cigar in the outdoor lounge area. Highly recommended. I will absolutely return,

17/09/2024: I was very well received and my stay went by very quickly, which is a good sign. A haven of peace by the river, perfect for recharging your batteries, the furniture and decoration are superb, you feel good there!
