22/09/2026: The high chairs were filthy, and the seats were covered in crumbs. We ordered a bacon burger, but while eating, we discovered it had no bacon. I complained at the counter, and a staff member came out and placed cold bacon into our burger with unwashed, bare hands before handing it back

09/09/2026: For many years the problem has been the same. Either they make a mistake, or something is missing, or the ice cream machine doesn't work. Every order has a problem...

23/09/2026: Traditional dishes, very well prepared, in a very pleasant setting. The staff is warm and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable considering the location.

21/08/2026: Beautiful place to eat, but the dishes were overcooked, and the dessert portion (walnut tart) was ridiculously small. The servers were friendly, but the wait between the appetizer and the main course was 35 minutes. Far too long, especially considering that other people who arrived after us were served before us.

19/11/2025: We went there on a Wednesday at lunchtime. We had a table on the terrace. It's a simple set menu, but homemade and very good. The place seems to be run by British people. A very warm welcome. The location is very pleasant, right in the center of the village with its white Dordogne stone houses. A great find! After several visits, the food is always just as good and hearty. You should also go for the British atmosphere on holidays and special events! Speaking English is a nice touch. We loved it!

21/09/2026: We were on a motorcycle road trip and stopped in this town for a meal. After being turned away from several other restaurants, which were all full, we stumbled upon Co The Cafe quite by chance… and what a pleasant surprise! We received a wonderfully warm welcome, with genuine kindness and a relaxed atmosphere. The value for money is truly excellent, with fresh, local ingredients and delicious food. A fantastic find! We highly recommend this place and will gladly return if we have the chance. Thank you for the warm welcome! 😊🏍️

The staff were very friendly, the pizzas were excellent, and the quality/price ratio was great. They really listened to their customers. 06/08/2026: A little gem in the heart of Thiviers. Very polite and attentive service. Delicious pizza, generously topped with lots of fresh ingredients. If I were in the area more often, this would be my favorite Italian restaurant in France 👌🏼 even if it is served from a food truck in an unusual way.

06/09/2026: This MC Donald‘s is something else. Ambient does remind more of a „real“ restaurant as of a fast food place. The place itself is clean and tiedy. Same for the toilets. The kids chair style was out of the 90‘s and our youngest loved it. After ordering at a service portal the stuff broad us the menu after short period of time: fries came in a re-usable box as well as the drink. Burger’s and Nuggets been good. Outside a playground was available for the kids as well as a digital table on the inside. Parking space for motorhomes are available. Only one think was not perfect: men’s room was out of soap.

06/09/2026: The toilets are in a deplorable state! The tables are not clean at all! (Dry cleaned! I saw it with my own eyes!)

27/09/2026: A very warm and friendly welcome. The food is extremely good, from the foie gras and cassoulet to the duck confit, and the homemade fries are excellent.

27/09/2026: A truly wonderful experience... A sublime cassoulet, a really good hamburger, and the confit duck was top-notch... Fast service, a superb welcome, homemade fries (a rarity)... I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back...

11/09/2026: We received a very poor welcome; a simple "hello" was optional. We felt like we were bothering them. We were seated at a dirty table. The food wasn't great and, what's more, rather expensive for what it was: frozen food. We absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

09/09/2026: We ate or simply drank there... A very beautiful place, but also and above all, a close-knit, attentive team. If you're part of it, whether closely or remotely, it's a true family. The servers, cooks, and owner are exceptional in their kindness and support. You don't see that anywhere else. Behind every order or tray placed on your table, there's a beautiful soul, led by a fatherly, benevolent, incredibly humane, and efficient owner. Thank you.

09/09/2026: This is the second time I've left this brasserie without being served after 20 minutes... Once on the terrace in early August, and again today at 5:08 PM inside while the bar and waiters were chatting and laughing in front of my table. The waiter, clearly wanting to make fun of me, probably thought it was hilarious to call out "Goodbye, Madam," but unfortunately, I don't share that sense of humor... I'd be curious to know if the manager of this posh establishment appreciates the behavior of his afternoon staff?

22/08/2026: Excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere. We were served by Eymerick, who was smiling and attentive throughout the meal. We highly recommend this restaurant.

16/08/2026: I called to place a takeout order at 1 p.m., and before I could even get a word in edgewise, the man on the phone told me, "We're not taking any more orders, we're full, goodbye," and hung up. He didn't even bother to ask what we wanted to order (quantity). Oh well, we went to the restaurant next door, which was friendly and helpful.

14/08/2026: What a treat! Duck breast, confit, pizzas, desserts—not a single flaw, including the children's menu! We will gladly return every year to enjoy the brilliantly prepared dishes. Bravo!
