16/04/2026: An experience so bizarre it was hard to tell if it was an Italian restaurant or an experimental concept focused on customer suffering. The service was so nonexistent that I seriously considered going into the kitchen to make myself something. Two more minutes and I would have gotten up to cut my bread, refill my water carafe, and maybe even ring up the next table while I was at it. We truly felt like unwelcome extras in an establishment that resented our presence. I asked for Parmesan for my pasta: they brought me a pinch. A real pinch. Probably a tribute to wartime rationing. At that point, they either had to own up to it and bring nothing, or come and sprinkle it directly from the other end of the room to save themselves the effort. And then the pizza… an unforgettable moment. The dough was catastrophic, tasteless, soulless, with absolutely no reason to exist. The dough looked like it had given up hope before it even started baking. As for the vegetables piled on top, they resembled a frozen bag hastily emptied to fulfill some vague social contract regarding the concept of a topping. And the whole thing was so lavishly generous you could almost mistake it for a pizza during a food shortage. Quite honestly, it was the worst pizza of my life. Not "disappointing," not "average," no: a true gastronomic disaster. An ideal experience for those who want to leave the table wanting to go home and make themselves some pasta with butter to forget about it.

15/04/2026: We've been coming to this restaurant for several years, but this time we won't be back. Apparently, they no longer have a menu. The young waitress announced the dishes without telling us what was in them or giving us the price. I ordered the restaurant's "special" cocktail, but she said, "I don't think we have the ingredients to make it." The same goes for the pizzas—they were missing ingredients... (in fact, the knives weren't cutting at all anymore, and the portions were much smaller; the pizzas barely touched the sides of the plate like they used to). No one brought us water or offered us anything else to drink! We had to ask. And for dessert... only two choices. To top it all off, coffee was €3! It's a real shame. We understand that the restaurant is no longer a Petit Futé (a French travel guide) favorite and that its rating on Google is dropping.

02/05/2026: Passing through for the May Day weekend, we stopped for a meal at this small brasserie in a perfect location. We received a very warm welcome from a smiling and very pleasant lady. She informed us that there would be a bit of a wait. No worries, we had plenty of time, we were on vacation ☺️ We didn't have to wait long before the same lady came to take care of us with the same smile and good cheer, even though she was serving the entire terrace single-handedly. As a bonus, she even brought a bowl of water for our little dog… A simple menu with excellent value for money!

28/04/2026: Just stopping for a drink, the setting is pleasant, facing the abbey and by the water. The service is quick and efficient.
