24/02/2026: A great restaurant close to places of interest like the cinema, etc., and just a short walk from the city center. The welcome is pleasant and friendly, and the meals are very good and reasonably priced. The setting and decor are charming, primarily themed around fairies, but they change with the holidays and seasons, like for Christmas with lovely train and snowy city decorations. We stop there every time we return to Montélimar for a good meal and a pleasant time.

06/09/2026: Once again (and yes, we stop here every time we're in the area 😉), a warm welcome, and this time even better: 4:30 pm, sweltering heat, we ordered two Perrier with slices... No more lemons! No problem, the chef went to buy some at the nearby shop... We asked if there was anything left to eat... (being on our motorbikes, we hadn't eaten lunch)... The waiter replied, "Nothing except ice cream... But the chef has just finished preparing fresh spinach ravioli..." 😁... In just a few minutes, we were on our way to two courses 😅... What a delicious "snack" 😋 honestly, while everyone else was eating ice cream, our table was already set... Where do you see that... Well, at the Café de la Fontaine... Thank you!

27/09/2026: We went here for lunch and ordered the €38 and €42 set menus to try a bit of everything, but unfortunately, it turned into a pretty stressful experience. The service was quite slow from the start, and the entrées were average. That said, my main course, the braised pork belly was honestly exceptional and the absolute highlight of the meal! Things got complicated when they told us at the very last minute that the €42 main course (the plancha-grilled shrimp) wasn't available and had to be canceled. Because we were running out of time to get to a wedding, we couldn't even wait for our desserts, which were included in the set menu. To their credit, they didn't charge us for the drinks we ordered (two sangrias and a bottle of still water) to help compensate for the trouble, which we appreciated. Still, between the missing main, having to skip dessert, and the overall slow pacing, it was a very rushed and disappointing lunch that didn't feel worth the price.

12/09/2026: We received a warm welcome from the chef, and the serving staff was very professional. We were able to dine on the lovely, peaceful outdoor terrace. We were delighted with the culinary experience offered by the chef, which featured original and well-balanced flavors.

16/08/2026: I went to get three pizzas, and honestly, I've never eaten such tasteless pizza. First of all, the dough was anything but pizza dough, the ingredients were clearly frozen, from the tomato sauce to the cheese. I'm a professional cook, and I used to get my pizzas in Tournon because there they made real pizza with real ingredients. I won't be back. I'll go to your competitor, who's two minutes away, because just from the pictures and the taste, you're not even in the same league. Be wary of those pre-prepared reviews about a pizza, because if their palates are like some of the comments, I suggest they change theirs. And those fake reviews, over €20 for a pizza that's frozen, just like the service, except when it comes to paying by card—big smile, good luck! A friend of mine wanted to go there, and I suggested she go to your Italian competitor instead. She said thank you.

07/08/2026: Super tasty pizzas and very friendly owners! We picked up 4 pizzas and ate them further down the village. The pizzas were ready quickly and really delicious for the whole family. Highly recommended!

18/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in the heart of Romans-sur-Isère! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal: both the steak tartare and the linguine with prawns were delicious, generous portions, and expertly prepared, as were the desserts. Excellent service made the meal a truly enjoyable experience. A fantastic restaurant, as delightful for its cuisine as for its prime location in the city center. We will definitely be back.

12/09/2026: On Saturday, September 12th, we went to eat at this restaurant. It was crowded. We waited for over 20 minutes, then I called over a waiter to tell him about the wait. I was surprised by his response: "If you're not happy, just go to McDonald's. There, they don't wait and they serve you immediately." What a lack of professionalism! It's pathetic and shameful.

11/09/2026: A wonderful experience! A warm Italian welcome, a lovely terrace, and exceptionally helpful staff. The service was impeccable, and the dishes were beautifully prepared with superb flavor combinations. We returned two days in a row with the same pleasure, without having made a reservation. An excellent place!

21/08/2026: I've been having lunch at this bar/restaurant for several years now. Despite the various changes in ownership, the quality of the food is very good. The dessert, a honey brioche, is simple but delicious.

07/10/2026: The pizzas are edible, but the dough is rubbery, and on top of that, they're expensive. The kitchen staff is very unpleasant, with no customer service whatsoever. Do they charge for a smile? We made a special trip because the rain prevented them from sending their delivery drivers, which I understand, but I expected a warmer welcome. Just a basic welcome, really.
