09/04/2026: €12 for a starter, main course, and dessert to go—the price is very reasonable. However, it would be nice if everything were of the same quality, right down to the dessert. The salads were very good, the main courses were very good, but the desserts were a disaster. Having a mass-produced dessert is already a bit of a turn-off, but the worst part is having a mass-produced dessert that was inedible! The Nutella donut was as hard as wood; my husband had to use a knife to cut it. It wasn't frozen; it was simply as hard as concrete! How can the owner send out such a "dessert"?! And I agree with the dozens of other reviews: the service is icy! Not a smile, not a kind word, not a friendly glance. The owner puts your order on the table, takes your payment without even offering you a loyalty card, and says, "It's over there." What I find appalling is the repetition of these negative reviews, going on for years, and yet the owner doesn't seem to question herself. The starters and main courses were very good, but we won't be returning, nor will we be recommending the establishment if asked. The dessert, which I wouldn't even give to my dog, combined with the poor service, completely undermines the quality of her husband's work in the kitchen. If you're looking for a warm atmosphere and want to end your meal on a delicious sweet note, stay away from this place. What a shame!

11/11/2025: Bonjour je venu manger samedi et je me apercoi des rats petits qui promene dans le restaurants moi je avait de entraint de manger moi et les perssonnes ont a vu cest pas higienique meme cest pas la cuisine portugaise ont servi de morue avec de pomme de terre sans huile de olive e vinaigre cest etait des perssonnes francais qui mange ne connaissent pas que morue e pomme de terre doivenet voire de huile de olive mais cest avec moustsrd que ont a mouille le morue etc cest pas um restaurant portugais ..je ne viendrais jamais et comme portugais je ne recomemde pour la higiene les rats et surtout dire est un restaurant Portugal que il ny a rien je ne recommend

My husband and I are an older gay couple, and even though it's 2026, we sometimes wonder how we'll be received as such. Well, Virginie and Jean-Michel are incredibly gay-friendly and were wonderful to us. It really makes you want to come back, as if to say, "We couldn't just leave like that!" Thanks again.

09/06/2026: This country house is nestled in a verdant setting with a magnificent house and a swimming pool. We received a very warm welcome from the owners (they were kind, helpful, and offered great advice about the region). As for dinner, breakfast is served via an ingenious basket system (containing thermoses, food dishes, plates, and cutlery) left at your door, allowing you to eat whenever you like.

02/06/2026: Don't be fooled by the positive reviews (probably from friends of the manager). I advise against going there, as they confirm the reviews I've read. I can confirm that: There was a mistake with the sauce in the taco. I specifically asked for no vegetables, but I received them anyway. Furthermore, the amount of sauce in the taco was very small. Moreover, I recently learned from other reviews that the meat wasn't halal, and the only explanation they gave was that the staff were Muslim, but no certificate was provided. I should add that my friend experienced hot sweats and severe stomach pain a few hours later, and it worsened the next day. Update: She vomited and had to go to the bathroom. (I don't need to spell it out for you.) The staff weren't wearing hairnets, which raises hygiene concerns. The meat was dry. I didn't get mine. Finally, it took 40 minutes to get two tacos. Avoid at all costs.

21/04/2026: Good kebab (generous portions and nice crispy meat 😋), friendly and efficient staff, very clean place (from the window to the toilets, it's spotless), in short, a very good and affordable place in Saint Donat. By the way, I'm very surprised by some of the negative reviews I've seen in the comments here; I can't believe we all ate at the same kebab shop! 🤔

07/06/2026: We went to the drive-thru this Sunday around 2:45 PM, and we encountered such an unpleasant young woman! From the moment we reached the kiosk until we picked up our order, she was extremely rude. She refused to process a separate payment and even slammed the window in our faces twice in a row. She spoke in a very informal and informal manner, which is completely unprofessional!

06/06/2026: I've never seen such terrible takeout service. I usually go to the McDonald's in Bollène, which confirms my suspicion that they're much more competent than the one in Pierrelatte. The number of times they forget items in the order is becoming worrying, and the prices have become outrageous for such awful service. I'm attaching a photo of the beef, mozzarella, and cheddar meal they offer. I looked for the cheddar patty under my table but couldn't find it.

01/05/2026: At 50, I walked in without really knowing what to expect. A very warm welcome, beautiful decor, no one there when we arrived, the DJ started playing, he was excellent, perfect transitions between tracks, the place filled up, admittedly mostly a young crowd, a great intergenerational exchange. A fantastic evening! As someone who loves to dance, I had a blast 🩷🩷🩷🩷 I can't wait to go back. Thank you!

21/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening. The setting was exceptional, and our dinner was accompanied by birdsong and the croaking of frogs. The dishes were varied and delicious. There were several of us, and we were all delighted. Thank you to the staff and the kitchen.

04/05/2026: A huge disappointment… I only gave two stars because the welcome upon arrival was pleasant. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't live up to it. We could hear the restaurant music until late at night, which isn't ideal when you're there to relax. In the morning, we were woken very early by construction work right outside our room… without any prior warning. This is exactly the kind of information that would have changed our choice of hotel. For a price of around €200 per night, the room is quite dated and poorly equipped: no coffee machine or tea-making facilities, just an empty refrigerator. Finally, at checkout, the experience deteriorated even further: at reception, an unwelcoming person with a torn t-shirt, visibly annoyed by our payment with Logis vouchers, had to manually enter all the numbers (due to a lack of an application that management had refused to provide), which made check-out particularly long (nearly 20 minutes). We came to relax… unfortunately, the opposite happened.

02/05/2026: A very nice hotel and restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable and it's very quiet. The beds are very good. The 45th bistro is lovely and the food is always excellent.

24/02/2026: The quality of the food isn't amazing and is definitely below what it used to be: the flavors, the taste, and the presentation are all gone... The bissap, supposed to be a strong-tasting drink, was really bland. The limited selection might suggest freshness and exemplary quality, but that's not the case at all. There are no appetizers, and the main courses are tasteless when they're not undercooked (who eats overcooked duck in a dry burger?). The setting is really pleasant, and I'm willing to give this restaurant another chance, but frankly, everything needs to be rethought.

15/11/2025: Visited recently on 11/14/25 Indeed, it's a small, dark, and rather disorganized dive. I've known this place for decades. But it also has a Scottish (or Irish) pub vibe where the people are friendly, and you hear English spoken very often. I've even gone there with my young daughters without any worries. The draft beer menu that day wasn't particularly British, but it was quite extensive.
