24/09/2024: Wir waren zum Abendessen im Rahmen unseres Urlaubs in Douarnenez dort. Reservierung war unkompliziert. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Mein Schwertfisch war wirklich hervorragend und gut bezahlbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, auch wenn wir mittlerweile leider wieder 1.200 km weit entfernt sind.

20/09/2024: This restaurant is hidden slightly back from the Main Street, but it is definitely worth visiting. We did need to book as with most restaurants in this area. The welcome was very friendly & the owner speaks good English & explains the menu. We ate the fish burger on our first visit which was Amazing!!! The rillettes de poisson is a good starter to share, we also had the Cod & yellow pollock, all were well cooked and beautifully presented. Don’t miss this gem.

21/08/2024: Sur les avis de Tripadvisor et en route vers Plouescat, nous nous sommes arrêtés au Grain de sel. Parfait du début à la fin. Pas une seule fausse note dans cette cuisine savoureuse et légère avec en prime une addition raisonnable. À refaire

08/07/2025: We are never disappointed by Le jardin d été. The service is great, the good succulent and their specials are always very different with flavour. This time we opted for the beef filet a classic with just the right amount of homemade French fries, a bit of veggies and sauce aux poivres! Excellent all around

05/07/2025: A huge thank you to the entire team for this exceptional experience! We were welcomed very late in the evening when most restaurants had already finished their service—a rare and much-appreciated gesture. For the starter, the parsley razor clam was simply divine, a lovely surprise full of freshness and flavor. The steak tartare was by far the best I've ever tasted: perfectly seasoned, tender, and a real treat. And to finish on a high note, the salted caramel profiteroles... to die for! A special mention for the service: impeccable from start to finish, warm, attentive, and with a smile despite the late hour. A big thank you to the waiters for their welcome and professionalism. 17/09/2024: Quite frankly one of the 3 best creperies I have ever dined in, and I am 64 years old An extremely cordial welcome, the boss is very pleasant and friendly And above all a very good meal, delicious pancakes, slightly crispy as I love them as a Breton, and with real local products highlighted with real talent. I highly recommend this address without any restrictions. Go for it without hesitation

07/09/2024: I discovered this place thanks to my partner and I don't regret it. The vast majority of products are homemade, the manager is a very pleasant man who does not lack humor and the quality of the cuisine is largely there. I have rarely eaten so well in such a beautiful setting. Honorable mention to the Ty Gwechall pancake which is one of the best desserts I have eaten to date and the cider on tap was really good. If you go through Carhaix, call to book, it's well worth it. This establishment gives pride of place to Breton culture.

07/01/2025: Disappointed with the last visit, the fish & chips, the fish was very good, and the fries were quite average. On the other hand, serving sachet mayonnaise as a sauce is very limited, we weren't at McDonald's!!! Amazing not to be able to make homemade mayonnaise or aioli. Next time we'll see...

22/09/2024: Nous avions réservé à l'intérieur. Des tables bien espacées avec des fauteuils en guise de sièges. Entrées de poisson, moules en plat principal, marinières pour ma femme et bretonnes pour moi, accompagnées de frites. Très copieux. Je pris un far breton en déssert. Tout était bon, et le personnel toujours souriant. Une bonne soirée.

17/09/2024: Actually blown away! The warmest welcome we have received in France followed by the best food we have had EVER. You’ve read it here if I win the lottery this is my party place It feels like a family run place everyone is friendly and although our French is poor it didn’t make a difference we felt welcome and comfortable. We shared a melted Camembert starter & putting balsamic on the rind made it even better My wife had a mixed fish dish and her smoked mackerel was delicious. My hake was also out of this world. Pudding g was the crumble and chocolate fondue followed by a delicious coffee. There was some lovely banter with the owners. Why are you looking to eat anywhere else? You may walk past as we did and go to a busy bar nearby but there’s a reason this restaurant is fully booked and they shoehorned us in on the outside but their warmth didn’t make it cold!

17/09/2024: A magnificent moment in a sublime and intimate setting to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The chef has magnificently sublimated the products of our superb region. A delight for both the eyes and the taste buds as well as perfect service.

07/09/2024: Accueil et service sympa Cadre charmant Carte réduite permettant du vrai fait maison à mon sens J'ai pris les gnocchis maison truffe parmesan : un régal 🤩 Présentation de la panna cotta originale , et à la dégustation, les goûts étaient aussi au RDV Tarifs en conformité avec la qualité à mon sens Nous avons vu qu'il y avait possibilité de commander a emporter des pizzas, nous testerons car nous habitons à côté 59€ pour apéro + 2 plats (hors pizza) + 1 dessert + 1 boule de glace

04/09/2024: Very good time spent with family. The dishes are excellent. Whether it's pizza or pasta. The chef's suggestion with venison, dough and sorbet was very good and original. The welcome at the top, the service with kindness and a smile. Bravo to the team of this restaurant. Thank you for this good time with the family.

22/09/2024: Saturday night was full of patrons chatting and enjoying the excellent food. We were early walk-ups, so we were thankfully given a table outside (reservations essential). Fabulous food @ €39 for a three course set menu with 5-6 choices for each course. It's worth a Michelin Star.

06/07/2025: Tmm, that was awesome. The savory creps were a very balanced combination of different ingredients, and the sweet creps were so delicious that they made a terrible noise. I actually had to laugh because they were so delicious. The waitress was very friendly and handled the language barrier well, and she spoke good English. So if you're in the mood for a crepe and you're in Quimper, go for it. It's worth it, and by the way, it's in a cozy spot. Tmm.
