18/01/2026: I hadn't booked, but they still welcomed me and found me a quiet little spot. The "Thunderous Platter of Brest" was delicious!! Thank you so much for the warm welcome! So I walked 20km on the GR 34 and immediately replenished the calories I'd burned! That's Brittany for you!

18/01/2026: We chose the Carré St Michel restaurant for a pleasant meal and we weren't disappointed. A warm welcome, a tempting menu, and excellent desserts (especially the Pavlova). We'll definitely be back!

The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. Go without hesitation; you'll leave with a smile and a full stomach! 19/01/2026: An experience to avoid. The room was already far too small for the number of customers, the products were overpriced, and the noise was truly unbearable, making conversation impossible. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager, but nothing was changed, and there was no gesture of goodwill or apology from him. Shameful, absolutely avoid!

14/02/2026: Takeaway pizzas, lukewarm, almost undercooked, and surely more topped and looking better in the restaurant... Let's hope so.

14/02/2026: The desserts were delicious, however, my salad, which was also very tasty, was lacking in toppings in my opinion, but otherwise it was quite good. The staff was rather welcoming, there was a bit of a wait, but that was to be expected on Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was very friendly, sometimes a little noisy but not excessively so. Overall, I recommend it for a pleasant evening!

17/02/2026: Hello, we came to this beautiful restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner. We received a very warm welcome; it was a wonderful discovery for us. The dining room is lovely, and we had a delightful evening. The cuisine is refined, with an explosion of flavors made from high-quality ingredients. The staff is very pleasant, helpful, and professional, always with a smile. We will definitely return to repeat the experience. We highly recommend it. Thank you very much to them.

15/02/2026: A brasserie atmosphere at the price of a gourmet restaurant. It's incredibly noisy! The bar, an extension of the restaurant, should be closed off... it's a real barnyard. As for the meal, there was a set menu for Valentine's Day, which was to be expected at that price—a burst of flavors, you'd think... but it was just so-so! We'd heard about the famous Prieuré, and it was our first time there... but never again. When you realize afterward that it was the group's management that was causing the chaos: bravo!!! Thanks for the respect for your customers; you have to wonder if these people even know the meaning of customer service in the restaurant industry!

28/02/2026: A wonderful time for two. The pizza was good, and so was the pasta. The gorgonzola served by the spoonful for dessert was perfect... melted to perfection. The service was also excellent. Price-wise, it's typical for a pizzeria, so no surprises on the bill. A great place to eat in Brest. Looking forward to going back.

25/02/2026: First takeaway pizzas I've ever bought from this restaurant, and definitely my last. After a very cursory phone reception bordering on rudeness, and the same lack of courtesy when I picked up my order (you don't say goodbye in Italy, for instance), I collected my two pizzas. When I got home, I discovered a mini calzone that was both burnt and undercooked. The four-cheese pizza was a normal size but also very mediocre. In short, there are much better options in Brest for less money, so never again.

10/12/2025: We love this café: The view of the sea is priceless, in summer there are tables scattered on the lawn in front, delicious cakes (we haven't tried anything else yet), and beautiful paper products that make great gifts. The only downside: Everything is rather pricey. Nevertheless, we keep coming back 🌞

09/12/2025: 5 stars for everyone... But be mindful of what you're looking for and the season. So yes, it's 5 stars even yesterday with this photo 😂 As for prices, it's hard to say. You can have a drink, a tea, a hot chocolate, or something even better with a cake, and you can also have a more substantial meal starting from €1... And even more with a breathtaking view.

25/06/2025: Very well stocked bookshop. Excellent staff who knew the books well and gave very helpful advice. Tea shop also highly recommended for it's atmosphere and drinks.
