23/04/2026: The best bakery in Ferney-Voltaire! Every time I've been there for the past two and a half years, I've been satisfied. Their mille-feuilles are a real treat. The welcome is very warm and friendly. I recommend it without hesitation.

04/04/2026: I'm quite disappointed. Everything seems frozen and nothing looks truly fresh, even when arriving very early in the morning right when they open. The bread isn't the quality you'd expect from a bakery. It's a shame there isn't another bakery in Ferney-Voltaire, but I hope that will change soon.

18/06/2026: It was ok and tasty food but considering its reputation we expected something more. Especially the dessert it was just a creme caramel. The pasta was just ok, not exceptional. Portions were small too. Ok service but not the best. In general nice place to eat but we would not visit again...

14/04/2026: There were four of us, I didn't make the reservation, and we left hungry, very disappointed. The frogs' legs were tiny, the quantity and quality were lacking, the terrace was dirty, the tables outside were covered in dust, and we didn't even see the owners. The only positive point was the impeccable and very friendly waitress. We won't be back; it was too expensive for what we were served, €218.

Beautiful tablecloths, vintage-style tableware, lovely objects like the wine decanter—everything was perfectly placed and thoughtfully arranged. The food was excellent, mostly homemade, and the wines were superb. The young sommelier was fantastic; we'll be back...

18/05/2026: Hervé and Lise are two fantastic, welcoming, and warm people. After a day of hiking in challenging weather, their service and comforting meal truly warmed our hearts. And what can we say about the breakfast, prepared at the crack of dawn for an early start to our hike, as well as the packed lunch, which surprised us with its generosity. We highly recommend staying at this hotel, run by two people we adored and who were always accommodating, even when we had some challenging circumstances. A huge thank you to you both for your kindness.

17/05/2026: We stayed at the Hotel Berthet on the Jura Mountains hiking trail. The rooms were spotless, and we received a warm welcome from Hervé and Lise. The half-board option was excellent, and the hosts were very welcoming! I highly recommend it.

01/07/2026: On holiday in Divonne for a few days, we booked a table for that same evening. The person on the phone was very friendly. Once we arrived, the person who greeted us couldn't find our reservation (which was less than an hour old) because she was looking at the wrong day of the week… luckily, the reservation was correct. Then we had to be shown to our table. Apparently, people who arrived after us were seated before us. Then came the meal. I had ordered a starter that contained parmesan cheese, which I'm still looking for. For a €15 starter, eating eggs in a cream sauce… On the other hand, my partner had foie gras, which was very good. The side dishes weren't listed on the menu. Furthermore, the roast potatoes were reheated from the day before, and there were some unidentifiable vegetables that I didn't eat. The service was very rushed, but the waiters were very polite. Then came dessert; we had ordered a tarte tatin. It's a shame we didn't read the packaging correctly, because it said to heat it in the oven, not the microwave; otherwise, it stays cold. I do a better job at home. Luckily, we're not staying in a hotel.

25/06/2026: Avoid this restaurant. You can easily find better for less money. The service was riddled with mistakes and completely unprofessional (the waiter shouted and ran around, asking if everything was alright while yelling in your ear). He was the only one actually working, as the other two waiters were so inefficient it was laughable. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either: a piece of aluminum foil (butter) on the fish fillet, undercooked fries, undercooked foie gras (I've never seen such thin slices), and overall quite bland (a sentiment shared by the four of us at the table). In short, it's not my style to leave bad Google reviews, but I had a terrible evening at this restaurant. When I got home, I checked the bill and saw that we were charged extra for rice on top of the ridiculously small portion served with the main course. When I say ridiculous, I mean it's just two or three forkfuls of rice, and it's surely a ploy to charge you another tiny portion for €4.60, which won't even last until the end of your meal. That was the last straw.

09/08/2026: Let's keep tastes and preferences in mind... To be clear: a great find. Lunch: good, homemade, pleasant welcome. Dinner was the same: homemade cuisine, pleasant welcome, however, there was a bit of a wait, but no big deal, I was on vacation. Calm atmosphere, background music, you can chat. GOOD VALUE for money. I recommend it.

04/07/2026: Excellent! Perfect foie gras, a truly exotic shrimp carpaccio that transports you. The frogs' legs were superb, especially compared to some tourist traps. 09/07/2026: We often come to the casino to play the slot machines while sipping a cocktail, then head to the Lodge restaurant for dinner. We're never disappointed: a good selection on the menu, delicious dishes of high quality and generous portions. The music playlist is relaxing (not mind-numbing)...in short...long live the Hauteville casino and its team! 💫

27/06/2026: What a wonderful discovery this restaurant is! I thank my niece for her gift. You are greeted by smiling, pleasant staff. The young woman who looked after our table was very pleasant. Thank you, Mademoiselle, and also the young man. It was delicious from the appetizer to the dessert. I loved the Watermelon and Peach Mille-Feuille. Bravo to the chefs for the dishes and the dessert! I recommend it 200%! And you'll be back, that's for sure! 😍
