30/08/2024: Don’t hesitate to open the door of this very friendly restaurant, excellent cuisine with burgers that are different from the ordinary! Not forgetting the fast service and very attentive staff!

29/08/2024: Not like before... We took away, same price as on site €17.90 (super expensive!) No more homemade chips, instead we had Doritos... The transport bags are of poor quality, it's all open, the fries on the floor. Too bad we love the old version... I'll give it one last chance when we go to eat there (because the burgers are good)

24/09/2024: Located opposite the royal monastery of Brou, the establishment with its discreet facade will surprise you with its sophisticated simplicity. The room is pleasant, the service perfect. Chic restaurant atmosphere. On the menu: • 2 Bresse chickens, morel/Chardonnay sauce + basmati rice? Impeccable. • 1 coffee. Surprise at the bill, a small plate garnished with two meringues and two lace tuiles of sesame seed nougatine. Delicious. On the bill; 69.20 euros Very good value for money.

30/08/2024: Very friendly waitresses, found us a table even though we had not reserved. Quality meals, well-stocked plates. Good value for money in a very pretty setting. We will come back to this.

20/08/2024: Two days of improvised hiking in heatwave weather on the beloved Retord plateau, with snacks from the bag and a night in a tent on the grounds of the Ferme de Retord. The shower at the Farm was very appreciated, as well as the large wake-up coffee (terrace, wooden tables, etc.) The big downside (which is a hassle if you are looking for a place protected from radiofrequency magnetic fields) is is the absence of a wifi network, and the inability to pay by credit card. Note that it is prudent to reserve (and have cash, or your checkbook) if you want to be sure of being able to enjoy a good full meal prepared on site, and treat yourself (oh luxury!) to a sweet night "on hard ground". Maybe 5 stars next time, if all the stars manage to align peacefully ;-)

30/06/2024: Lors d'une ballade en Bresse et après avoir visité l'Ecomusée adjacent au restaurant, nous avons pris le déjeuner sur place en mode buffet. Plusieurs choix d'entrées, de plats, garnitures et desserts, tous de bonne qualité. Très bon rapport qualité/prix (16€), vin et café compris

28/07/2024: Quite high prices compared to other quality restaurants nearby. The cheapest menu is 37€. We chose to take the fresh salad starter displayed on the menu at €17 and charged on the ticket at €18. Not very serious!!!!

16/07/2024: Après une belle randonnée dans le coin, nous avons vraiment apprécié l’agréable terrasse et la très bonne cuisine. Service souriant en sus. Je vous recommande.
