28/02/2026: The welcome was particularly unpleasant. Despite the perfect weather, we asked to have lunch on the terrace—a request refused on the grounds that there weren't enough staff and the terrace wasn't set up. This is hard to understand for only five covers, especially when it simply amounts to turning customers away rather than finding a solution. So we left, the establishment seemingly indifferent to the significant loss of revenue. If the welcome and motivation reflect this experience, it's unlikely we'll be back.

08/03/2026: You have to be a regular to get good service... which is a real shame! They claim they're out of fries, yet they're serving a burger and fries to the next table 10 minutes later!!! And to pay the bill at the counter, you'd better have a sign so you're seen, otherwise the regulars will just walk right past you without the cashier noticing. And above all, don't say anything so you don't come across as unpleasant. In short, it's a place that seems more than it is. However, if you're looking for a noisy terrace and an indifferent atmosphere, it's the perfect spot!

06/01/2026: Excellent place, everything is homemade: the sauces, the fries, the desserts...and everything is delicious. I go there whenever I have the chance to visit Oyonnax and it's always a pleasure.

27/12/2025: We dined at La Divonne – Le Président restaurant for a family Christmas dinner (12 people). Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We arrived on time, yet we waited nearly 40 minutes for our drinks and an hour and 45 minutes for our starters. The service was very slow and disorganized: the waiter forgot several orders, and some requests were either ignored or poorly executed. What compounded our disappointment was seeing customers who arrived after us served before us, even for dishes identical to ours. The food was adequate, but nothing special. Furthermore, we were disappointed by the limited choice of starters (no simple options like a salad) and the lack of a children's menu, which is surprising for a restaurant catering to families. Overall, this experience fell far short of our expectations for a festive meal. This will unfortunately be our first and last reservation at this establishment.

18/04/2026: First time eating at this brasserie and definitely the last. I got severe food poisoning right after eating a mountain salad. The ham looked very white and dated, the eggs weren't fresh, but I didn't pay much attention at the time... these things happen, but it didn't leave a good impression. What a shame.

02/04/2026: I came on a Thursday at lunchtime, and the waiter forgot to bring the starter. My partner's main course was cold. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

08/05/2026: When the owner comes out into the parking lot to direct you to a proper spot, even though the lot is empty and you haven't even gotten out of your car... now that's what I call customer service! She'll never see me again... change jobs, the municipal police are hiring!

25/04/2026: What a disappointment… I came for desserts the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I returned for savory food, and it was significantly less good, plus the service was appalling… a very unpleasant person even made a pricing error. Such a reception doesn't exactly inspire me to come back.

30/03/2026: Unfortunately, I won't be going back. Even though it's a restaurant/bar with set menus for workers, I found the quality very, very average. I was very disappointed with the quality and cooking of the food. We couldn't even finish our meals. While the service was very good, that's not enough to give it more stars. I enjoy cooking homemade meals, and everyone cooks differently, but there's a difference between cooking and just throwing things together. Honestly, the quality just wasn't there. We left hungry and with a bill that was completely unjustified for what we were served.

22/02/2026: Three daily specials (red meat, white meat, fish), all homemade and deliciously prepared by the chef. Generous portions. And don't forget the desserts. Top-notch service. A bistro like they used to make. Perfect for a lunch break on the way to the Alps.

31/03/2026: A really nice bistro. The menu is simple but offers a good selection of traditional French dishes, a pleasant atmosphere, and exceptional quality meat. I highly recommend it.

13/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. It's bland, tasteless, and particularly surprising given the positive reviews! It feels like the chef isn't actually cooking, but simply reheating pre-prepared dishes. I don't mind pre-made food in itself, but this is just plain bad.

15/02/2026: Excellent for a comfortable family stopover on the way to the ski slopes. The breakfast package is very generous. Also great for a longer stay as the region has many attractions. Highly recommended.

25/04/2026: The meat wasn't cooked enough. And the menu wasn't varied enough. I came because it was the kebab restaurant of my youth, but it's changed. I was very disappointed.

24/04/2026: I arrived at the restaurant and noticed that the bread wasn't homemade like in the photos they use to impress you. Looking at the flatbreads that were served, I realized they were prioritizing quantity over quality.

06/04/2026: The welcome was mediocre at best, the white wine was barely lukewarm, the meat was poorly cooked, and the shallot sauce tasted like it came from a store. Given the prices, it would be wise to limit the menu to only those dishes that are actually well-prepared. Be careful when paying at the till; the prices charged are higher than the prices displayed. The restaurant feels neglected; there are several shelves piled high with flyers and newspapers. Letting the dog roam freely is also unacceptable. It's a shame, as the restaurant is very well located. We were a table of 10, just passing through the area, and we were disappointed.

05/04/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Out of a table of 10, we had to send back 3 dishes. The dog running loose inside the establishment speaks volumes about the restaurant's hygiene standards… And then there's the staff… an owner as welcoming as a prison gate and a waiter who seems either completely out of it or inexperienced.

04/05/2026: We were passing through on our way to Spain and wanted to stay here for one night, but it was a disaster. The air conditioning was broken, the window wouldn't open, the refrigerator didn't work, and there was no hot water... plus there was a motorway right next to it. The whole place was a catastrophe; it should be torn down.

21/04/2026: The hotel is very old fashioned - you need to push the door really hard to open or close it. But the main issue is that we found stink bugs in the room when we checked in. We told the reception to fix it and they never do. Also, the director of the reception is very disrespectful. For example, he used “Les filles” to call us when me and my friend are clearly two 30+ ladies. Do not recommend even if the price might be attractive
