16/07/2026: Passing through the region, we went to La Réserve based on the excellent reviews. Everything was simply perfect. The welcome, the service, the smiles and friendliness of the servers, their explanations, the setting and decor, and what a delight for the taste buds! The octopus was cooked to perfection—kudos to the chef—the risotto was creamy, and the sauce with the chorizo ​​wasn't too salty. Our teenagers loved the Caesar salad with crispy chicken. And the desserts were flawless. Absolutely perfect from start to finish. A small local/regional touch on the menu would have been a nice addition. We highly recommend it!

28/06/2026: Excellent food and a beautiful setting on the outdoor terrace. Unfortunately, the service during our visit was disappointing. They couldn't give me the wines on offer, only "white, rosé, red," yet I was charged for the most expensive one. There was a price list on a display stand next to the till, but they never brought it to me. For dessert, I ordered a caramel panna cotta, and to my surprise, I was brought a red fruit coulis. The person supposedly didn't have paper and a pen to write down my order and just took what was ready in the kitchen. I don't regret insisting on my order, though, because the caramel was delicious!

02/08/2026: A quiet little restaurant right in the city center, with free parking nearby. The frogs' legs were perfect; we also go to the Dombes region for good food. Simple, excellent cuisine at a reasonable price.

18/07/2026: The waitress was unpleasant, and we were a group of eight and very disappointed with the meal. We won't be going back and we won't be recommending it.

01/05/2026: Passing through during a motorcycle road trip south, we received a truly warm welcome. The hotel is spotless and the services are top-notch. A perfect stopover that I highly recommend to motorcyclists!

23/01/2026: I really enjoyed this restaurant. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. They offer fresh products and the food is excellent. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go back. The restaurant's interior is warm and inviting, reminiscent of our grandmother's house; it's very pleasant. The only minor drawbacks were the slightly long wait, but that's understandable given how busy it was the day I went, and I would suggest slightly larger portions.

11/07/2026: We ate at this restaurant last night and it was a wonderful experience! The food and ambiance were worthy of a fine dining establishment at a more than reasonable price! The quality and quantity of the portions, as well as the amuse-bouches between courses, were much appreciated! The lady who greeted us was very friendly! We'll definitely be back!

27/06/2026: The waitress was unpleasant. She made comments she had no right to make, telling us we paid and could share our dishes with the other diners if we wanted, and she didn't ask how we wanted our meat cooked. She then made further comments in an inappropriate tone. It's a shame because the setting was nice. The food was very good, and the little extras between courses were appreciated.

07/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to stop for lunch at this restaurant. The daily menu dishes are always varied and very popular!

05/08/2026: I'm so glad I didn't listen to the harsh opinions of some who compare this place to much more expensive restaurants… A starter, main course, dessert, and coffee for under €18, and everything was delicious. The waitstaff cleared the table and offered great advice—10/10, much better than in most places. Big plus for the desserts, which are all homemade by a pastry chef 😋 A place to keep in mind if you're in the area on your lunch break!

09/07/2026: The food is very good and fresh. The ladies, although very kind, may lack a bit of dynamism at the reception, but no matter, it's a place to remember!

08/07/2026: Please don't hesitate to pick up any litter from your patio in the park! Towels, decorations, etc... I run around every evening and every evening there's even more litter.
