17/04/2026: I was refused entry to the establishment today because of an acquaintance who criticized the service. I wasn't even there when it happened, and it was the first time I'd been there with this acquaintance, last Saturday, April 10th. I often had my coffee on the terrace at the beginning of the year, and today I was all alone. They refused to seat me. I often had my coffee there, but I rarely ate there. I've been there several times with friends, apart from this acquaintance (a woman), and I've never had any problems. They lumped me in with them as soon as they saw me with this acquaintance for the first time last Saturday. Totally bizarre and unfair. I've never been refused entry to a restaurant on the French Riviera. I've been to the best restaurants in Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Menton, Saint-Tropez, and Italy. I've never had any problems with any of the restaurants I've been to.

15/04/2026: I really like Rossini. It's very close to my home. The daily specials are varied and good. The waiters are friendly and the wait isn't too long.

28/03/2026: The servers were incredibly unpleasant, coasters were tossed onto the table, and orders were taken in a rush… Customers shouldn't be able to tell if the staff are disgruntled. Hopefully, future customers will be treated better.

28/03/2026: We had a great time at this bar in Old Nice! We had a drink and everything was perfect: a friendly atmosphere, a unique setting, and above all, a truly warm welcome. Pleasant service, smiling staff—perfect for relaxing in the early evening.

12/01/2026: After a mountain pass ride in the cold, what a pleasure to find L'Atelier Gourmand! Being the only place that accepted credit cards was a real plus. The waitresses were very kind, allowing us to store our bikes safely and close enough for us to keep an eye on them. The food was good, served quickly, and homemade—what more could you ask for? Thank you again for the warm welcome.

The daily special is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant (special mention for the sauces), with unbeatable value for money. A winning combination of quality, longevity, and friendliness. 03/05/2026: We just left this establishment and we'll never set foot in it again! We arrived at the entrance with five people, and were asked to wait for a table to become available while they processed our payment. No problem, we waited outside so as not to disturb anyone. Two people arrived and sat down at our assigned table... we moved on. We waited another 10 minutes, a table became available, and we were seated. There were glasses left over from previous customers, and the table was dirty. We waited another 10 minutes, and no one came to give us a menu or even clean the table. I approached the front desk and politely asked for a paper towel or microfiber cloth to clean the table while we waited. The response was, "I'll be right there" (rolling my eyes). I said, "Thank you, that's kind of you," in a polite tone. We were given menus, but the table wasn't cleaned, and we couldn't even put the menu down to read it properly. We ended up getting up and leaving. Well done, keep it up! 👍🏻 We're not tourists; we live in Cagnes-sur-Mer and Saint-Laurent and used to come regularly. Our last two visits made it very clear that service isn't your priority. It's a shame you don't understand that customers, whether they live nearby or not, come to have a good time, not the other way around. Best of luck and good luck to future customers.

I won't be returning, deeply disappointed by the behavior of the elderly woman who served me on Cours Saleya.

01/03/2026: Cours Saleya, lots of tourists queuing. A RIP-OFF! The portions are small. "Theresa" makes a huge profit on a tray of socca by selling tiny portions at exorbitant prices. They take advantage of the fact that there are customers during Carnival. It's a shame to rip off tourists. It doesn't give a good image of Nice.

24/02/2026: A small restaurant in the heart of the village, we stumbled upon it by chance. The owner was a warm, welcoming, and very kind gentleman. The crepes were excellent, both savory and sweet. My 7-year-old son loved his hamburger! My mother-in-law had a bruschetta, which was also very good, with fresh vegetables. I recommend it 200%!

23/02/2026: A fantastic experience! Just me and my young daughters, we had a wonderful time. The owner is very friendly, the crepes were delicious, and I can't wait to come back and try the burgers, which look amazing. You can go without hesitation, but at certain times of year or if you're in a large group, I recommend making a reservation 😉
