28/02/2026: When the terrace manager forgets the meaning of the word "hospitality": First, I want to start with the positives: the setting of the Méridien rooftop is absolutely magnificent. The view overlooking the sea is splendid, and the food we ate was very good. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the rest of the team was smiling and pleasant throughout the meal. Now, the context. I had booked two and a half weeks in advance for my partner's birthday, with a very specific request: a table right on the waterfront. During my initial call, I was told that if I booked early enough and it was a special occasion, tables were assigned based on the order of reservations. Perfect, so I booked online, leaving a detailed comment. A week before the date, I called again to make sure everything was in order and to ask if they could arrange for a candle on my partner's dessert. I was assured that everything was recorded, that it wouldn't be a problem, and that my request for a seafront table had been received. On the day, we were seated at a table that wasn't in the front row, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded and several seafront tables were still available. So I politely got up to ask if it would be possible to have the table I had requested when making my reservation. The response from "CAMILLE," the terrace manager, was… surprising. I was told that I clearly didn't know "restaurant etiquette," that in the restaurant business, nothing is promised, and that it's "first come, first served." I immediately pointed out that if it wasn't possible, there was no problem and we could stay at the assigned table. But the explanation didn't end there. She continued with a bakery analogy: “When you go to the bakery, you wait in line, you don’t cut in line. It’s the same here.” The metaphor was… audacious. I didn’t think that a request made two and a half weeks in advance, confirmed twice for a birthday, could be considered an attempt to “cut in” on someone in a queue. The comparison is perplexing, especially since several tables matching the request were clearly available. I should point out that we had a reservation for 1 p.m. If it had been clearly explained to me on the phone that the front-row tables were strictly first-come, first-served, I would obviously have booked for 12:30 p.m. My objection isn’t the refusal itself, but the contradictory information and the tone used. Ironically, a few minutes later, a front-row table became available. We were then told that we would be seated there… after checking that it wasn’t reserved. I must admit I was surprised. Just moments before, I was told that nothing is reserved in restaurants, and suddenly I had to check if this particular table was. The logic is hard to grasp. We ordered at 1 p.m. and received our food at 2:30 p.m. An hour and a half wait, without any real explanation, for lunchtime service is a long time. When it came time for dessert, I had to ask again for the candle, which, once again, had clearly not been taken into account despite the phone confirmations. In short: a superb setting, quality cuisine, a generally pleasant staff… but unclear reservation management, contradictory information, and a very long service time. It's a shame because with a little more consistency and consideration, the experience could have been perfect.

27/12/2025: Over 14 years ago, we had an unforgettable wedding thanks to the magnificent setting of Ludiparc and the kindness and expertise of Marie-Laure, the manager, and all her staff. But today (December 2025), our daughter had the joy of celebrating her 18th birthday there! Everything was perfect! Marie-Laure's kindness and attentiveness before the party to our requests, the availability and efficiency of her employee Valérie who was invaluable on the day, and the quality of the buffet prepared by the chef from Sucré-Salé, which was praised by our guests throughout the evening! A party our daughter won't soon forget!

10/11/2025: I would like to thank the entire LUDIPARC team for organizing my daughter Elisabeth's birthday party this past Saturday, November 8th. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the staff, who were very responsive, answered almost all our requests, and were incredibly accommodating, especially with our cocktail reception and entertainment. You are true professionals with a genuine commitment to customer service. And the food was excellent. We will definitely be back!

20/02/2026: The food and service here was so phenomenal - we grabbed a quick girls dinner here on a moments notice and it was an incredible night! GREAT food, INCREDIBLE and phenomenal dessert and Kevin had incredible service and was so fun to chat with. Could not recommend this place more.

19/01/2026: Lunch at the Restaurant: On a rainy day with cool temperatures, we were initially seated on the terrace. We asked to be moved inside. However, it was still quite cold inside. On the other hand, the meal was decent. We were told that the fireplace was only lit in the evening. Perhaps it would be a good idea to light it at lunchtime, during service, when the weather is gloomy. We were very cold during our lunch.

02/12/2025: Small pizzeria, big on quality! Mamma Mia is a real neighborhood gem: generous pizzas, daily specials, and a small 100% Italian grocery section. We enjoy it every time; it's a true taste of Italy!

28/10/2025: Thanks to the pizza maker, the pizzas are very good. However, owner, you need to improve your customer service and show more respect for your customers. Some locals (like the municipal police) are welcomed with open arms.

25/01/2026: The welcome was very warm. The waitresses were very pleasant and friendly, but the food, with only a Sunday menu, was absolutely subpar. The food was mediocre, and the presentation was like something from a school cafeteria—it definitely needs improvement.

13/01/2026: I visited Labastide Saint-Antoine this Saturday during the annual truffle festival. There was a wonderful demonstration outside with truffle dogs and other stalls to tantalize the taste buds, including cooking shows by disciples of Auguste Escoffier. All the dishes were excellent. I also had the chance to eat inside. Everything was a succession of authentic tastes and flavors with perfect presentation, and as a bonus at the end of the meal, a short visit to my table from Chef Jacques Chibois. In short, I'd go back without hesitation.

13/01/2026: Impossible to park at this establishment, despite the parking lot being empty at 10:00 AM on the day of the annual truffle fair last Sunday. We were turned away by the attendants who told me I hadn't reserved a parking space. Absolutely insane!

05/03/2026: Excellent establishment, everything is perfect from the service to the food. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The cuisine is very well prepared. We also enjoyed breakfast on the covered terrace several mornings during our stay in Nice, and it's a habit we'll terribly miss...
