19/04/2026: A great place to stop if you're passing through Capendu. The welcome was professional, and we were seated on a lovely shaded terrace. The €27 set menu for a starter, main course, and dessert is reasonable, especially considering it was a Sunday. The quality is excellent, and the service is prompt and efficient. We had a great time. Worth discovering.

28/08/2026: A small restaurant with a terrace almost entirely shaded by trees, very pleasant in summer. There was virtually no wait between courses, and the servers were very friendly. Excellent cuisine featuring local products and specialties! Highly recommended!! 🥰

25/08/2026: A very pleasant restaurant under the trees, a decent €23 set menu (starter/main/dessert), it's just a shame the cassoulet had so little sauce, and that our friends found a hair or a stray hair somewhere in their cassoulet or dessert. No small gesture of goodwill, which was a bit of a shame...

21/06/2026: We were very well received despite the late hour. The breakfast option was generous, however, the room was cramped because what you'd expect to be a room with one bed actually had two large ones, plus the furniture was too small, so there wasn't much room to move around. The electrical outlets weren't easily accessible, and there was no parking.

01/08/2026: Excellent food! A shaded terrace, fresh produce! The only slight drawback was the somewhat slow service, not too much of a problem, but it might annoy those in a hurry! We loved it!

16/06/2026: I came after hearing so much about the trompe-l'œil pastries. I wanted to try the hazelnut one, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed; they don't make it anymore. So, I took the advice of the very friendly saleswoman and chose the mango. I admit it was well-made and a good pastry. But the price… €7, and it's really a small portion! While the pistachio and peanut pastries were bigger and the others a bit cheaper, the mango was truly tiny for the price. I noticed that all the pastries in the bakery are quite expensive considering their size. I don't want to downplay the pastry chefs' work, but I don't think the quality-price ratio is really reasonable. Perhaps I'll change my mind about the hazelnut one someday when it's back in stock. I still want to commend the shopkeeper for her kindness and helpful advice.
